I stared at a now sleeping Amanda, I can't imagine how overwhelmed she must be feeling right now. I held her hand while I ran my other hand through her hair.

"It's going to be okay babe , I promise" I said wiping the tears from her eyes before anybody else entered the room.

"Doctor can we- well you... can we please keep this in between us ? It's what she wants. " I said looking at him, waiting for his response.

"I'm sorry Miss but I can't do that " he said causing me to look at him like he was built backwards, what does he mean "he can't" ?

"I don't understand, isn't the patient's information confidential ? " I asked with my hand on my hip.

"Yes it is but Mr Reigns requested that I tell him everything about Ms Amanda's condition and that's permitted because he pays for her medical fees" right ! Of course he did.

"He- Well look, between me and you right ? Mr Reigns is the father of the... baby and I'm pretty sure Amanda wants to surprise him... for his birthday, please don't ruin it just because he requested that you keep him updated." I said almost pleading at him and Mr Reigns had to be the father, right ?! It's the only guy Amanda" talks " to and she's almost 1 month pregnant and she's been in the coma for 4 weeks and the only person she was" talking " to before the coma was Mr Reigns, I'm assuming but if he ain't the father then, I just dug her into a deeper hole.

" When you put it that way, I understand. " he said after a long pause.

" Thank you Doctor . " I smiled at him before he walked out the door,my smile dropped the moment he closed the door behind him.

"If you don't make me the godmother, I'm snitching boo." I said sitting down on the chair beside her bed before reaching for her hand to hold while I waited for the others to return.

Leonardo's POV

I walked down the hospital passage that led to her room. It was currently 11 PM at night and I purposely missed today's evening visiting hours because I hated crowded places, I wasn't even going to come today but the doctor told me that she was awake. Visiting hours were over long time ago but they allowed me to enter because... it's me. I opened the door when I reached her room, her head instantly snapped towards me when I walked in before looking away again. I closed the door and approached her bed, she still had her head faced the other side, totally ignoring my presents. I grabbed one of the chairs from the corner and sat by her bedside still examining her, her bruises were slowly fading but still very much visible but she looked beautiful regardless.

"How are you ? " I asked after clearing my throat, she scoffed before turning to look at me.

" A car accident ? " she said looking at me in amusement , Oh boy !

" What did you want me to say Amand- "

"THE TRUTH !" she yelled with tears coming out of her eyes

" The truth ? and why would I do that ? Really Amanda, you out of all people know that I could never expose my family like that. " I said leaning forward towards her and in return, she also leaned forward the best she could due to her aching body. Our faces were now a few feet away from each other.

" Right ! You're family. Well fuck your family Leonardo! Fuck your family and you , fuck all of you " she said slowly , looking into my eyes .

"Wow ! I need to find out what the fuck these doctors injected in you because you're acting real reckless right now " I said looking at her in amusement , she smirked at me.

"I thought you liked my recklessness, " she tilted her head to the side before continuing, " but now it seems to bother you. " she grinned before leaning back on her bed and I too, leaned back on my chair.

"I'll ask again and this time you going to answer me accordingly Amanda. How are you ? " I asked and she rolled her eyes before smacking her lips , leave it up to Amanda to piss me off.

"Man you're such a bitch ! You're an ungrateful and selfish bitch Amanda. Remember that you're the one that left the car in Russia and wondered off, I'm sorry but you put yourself in that situation. I know it's partly my fault but I'm trying to make up for it , me and everybody spent hours in the warehouse trying to locate you so we could rescue you, EVERYBODY LOST SLEEP ! WE SPENT HOURS IN A COLD, FILTHY WAREHOUSE ! I DON'T PRAY BUT WHEN YOU WERE ABDUCTED I PRAYED AND BEGGED GOD TO SHOW ME WHERE YOU WERE OR TO AT LEAST GIVE ME A SIGN TO SHOW THAT YOU WERE ALIVE. I WAS LOOSING MY MIND AMANDA ! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER GUILT FILLED MY NONE EXIST HEART . WE RISKED OUR LIVES TO RESCUE YO- HECK ?! OUR REPUTATION TOO ! " she opened her mouth to say something but I cut her off

" And that family that you hate so very much, that one ?! They gave their all for you and I'm not just talking about flying you and your parents to the states or paying for your hospital bills , I'm talking about how far they were willing to go to find you. We spent thousands trying to locate you because whoever took you was very good at covering their tracks, before you paint us out to be the bad guys, gather your facts first. " I said the last part calmly while looking at her.

" So it's my fault, Is that what you're saying ? Huh ? Is it my fault that I was abducted ? Is it my fault that I was tortured ? Is it my fault that I was stripped naked for hundreds of men to see and touch on my body ? Is it my fault that I slept standing while hanging from the ceiling with chains ? Is it my fault that I was electrocuted ? Is it my fault that I was woken up with a bucket of ice cold water ? Well yes, it is my fault. It is my fault Leonardo because that man gave me options, yea he did ! He told me to tell him everything that I knew about you and your family and my pain would end and guess what my stupid ass said ?! Nothing , I SAID NOTHING LEONARDO ! I WAS TORTURED EVERY HOUR, EVERY MINUTE ! I HAD AN ESCAPE BUT FOR THE SAKE OF FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE I CHOSE TO SAY NOTHING ! I WANTED TO SELL YOU OUT SO BAD LEONARDO , SO BAD ! BUT I COULDN'T . So before you paint me out to be an ungrateful bitch, gather your facts first . " she said looking at me while sobbing , making me break eye contact and regret what I said to her earlier . If it was possible to kill someone over and over again, I'd kill Rosco again for causing my babygi- I mean Amanda, for causing Amanda pain.

" I'm sorry Amanda, I genuinely am. I never intended to cause you or any of your family pain. I should've never allowed you to get involved in our messed up Mafia life. I honestly regret meeting you ! I should've looked away when we crossed paths." a look of sadness and disbelief flashed in her face.

" You're such an amazing, intelligent woman and it pains me to know that I had put you through all of that trauma. I'm sorry and because of that, we're willing to let you go at Reigns Inc and cut all sort of ties with you and that includes your friendship with Mia. She would've came but she couldn't find it in her to come face you. I'm sorry ! " I said apologetically as she stared at me with her lips quivering, I exhaled hard before standing up from the chair ready to leave.

" I know for a fact that you're not about to walk out that door Leonardo ? You can't possibly be serious, you can't just fire m- what ? Are you serious ?" she asked before wiping tears from her face.

"The company is going to continue paying you your salary for the next 4 months, that should give you enough time to find a new job or better yet, go home. " I said still facing away from her, I still felt like Amanda wasn't safe in the states. I would feel more comfortable and at ease if she went back home.

" I DON'T KNOW IF YOU'RE BLIND OR WHAT LEONARDO BUT I'M INJURED AND FUCKING BRUISED ALL OVER MY BODY AND FACE ! WHO IS GOING TO HIRE ME HUH ?! WHO ? I HAVE BROKEN BONES WHICH WILL PROBABLY TAKE MORE THAN 4 FRICKEN MONTHS TO HEAL, WHO IS GOING HIRE ME ? OH ! AND GUESS WHAT ? I'M PRE- " I cut her off because she was being too loud and people could hear through these hospital walls.

" ENOUGH AMANDA ! I don't want to hear it, we're parting ways and that's that. For your own safety, please stay the fuck away ! " I semi-yelled at her before giving her one more look and exiting the room and sitting on one of the benches by her room. Not even 10 seconds after I shut the door, I heard her break down. It broke my heart to be that harsh to Amanda but it was the only way I could push her away. I knew I had to go hard on her because she was strong headed and I knew she would never go out without a fight . I stood up from the bench and headed towards the door, not being able to withstand hearing her cries .
