The light streaming in through the blinds stirs me awake as the memories of last week flood my mind bringing a joyous smile to my face.

All night I dreamt about seating charts and decorations chasing me. Weird I know. But then the evil planning stuff would disappear and in their place was Lucas professing his love for me.

Fully awake I open my eyes to see my mate in nothing but a towel wrapped lowly on his hips.

I definitely don't mind waking up to this. Good morning in deed.

"Good morning my queen. Sleep well?"

A blush covers my face from being caught. I really gotta work on the mental block thing.

"Or don't. I like knowing what your thinking."

"Whatever Lucas. Anyway... What's the plan for the day? The girls said something about separation."

I can't but let a small whimper out at the thought of being away from Lucas all day.

Lucas walks out of the closet in a pair of dark washed jeans and a blue t shirt slung over his shoulder. His hair is still wet from his shower but is messily styled upon his head.

"It's okay baby girl. Yes we have to be separate today but you and the girls are gonna go shopping and have a girls day or something like that. The guys and I are gonna go on a run and play video games or work out in the gym. Besides you can mindlink me if you need something or you just want to talk. Trust me when I say I would rather be in here with you watching movies and eating junk food. I'm not crazy about leaving you unprotected either."

Lucas had moved to lay on the bed with his head propped in his hand whilst laying on his side and running his fingers up and down my arm.

"A whole day? Will I get to see you tonight?"

Lucas lets out a sad sigh as he shakes his head.

"I'm sorry baby girl... It's tradition that the king and queen spend the night apart from each other the night before the coronation. It will be okay. You will stay here and I'll stay in the guest room at the end of the hall."

Before I can speak again Aella burst through the door closely followed by Adrian.

"Sorry to interrupt Alpha. Luna."

That was Aella.

"Well I'm not! Lucas get out! The day has officially started and you are no longer wanted here! Come on move it!"

I bet you can guess who that was.

Lucas lets out a small growl from the disrespect but does as Adrian asks. Lucas leans over and kisses my mark, then my lips.

"I love you. Be safe today baby girl."

"I will be. I love you too."

Lucas rolls out of bed and walks out the door before turning around and giving me the smile he only seems to show me. The smile where his dimples present themselves and his eyes crinkle ever so slightly. I can't help but return the grin before Adrian shuts the door in Lucas face.

"Now that the big oaf is gone, we need to get ready! It is going to be a long day of pampering, shopping, and whatever else we decided to do. I personally would like to watch a movie at some point today but that is just my opinion."

"Adrian. Your rambling."

"Oh Aella, Audrey gets it. I'm excited! I can't help it! Now don't be a downer and help me get Audrey out of bed."

Once the girls got me out of bed I took a quick shower and straightened my hair.

The girls had picked out a blue sundress with a floral pattern. They laid out a brown leather braided belt, a white cardigan, and brown sandals to go with the dress. After quickly dressing myself I grabbed the moon necklace Lucas got for me. I hardly ever leave the house without it on.

The girls hand me a small brown purse where the strap crosses over me. The strap itself is braided and leather like my belt.

Looking into the purse I find all the essentials that every purse should have. A pack of gum, hand sanitizer, chap stick, tissues, sunglasses, and... Lucas' credit card.

"Why is this in here?"

"We're all going shopping. Lucas wants to spoil you and wants you to buy anything and everything you want."

Adrian explains this with a smile on her face as her and Aella direct me back into the bathroom to do my makeup.

Once they deem me ready, we walk down to the living room where Jorgie, Lena, Kendra, Adaline, and Sofia are all sitting on the couches in the room.

Sofia and Adaline acknowledge my presence first, even though Jorgie speaks before everyone else.

"Oh good your here! We have a long day planned and if we want to get it all done then we better get a move on! So ladies... Pile in the cars so we can go shopping!"

Everyone squeals in excitement as we walk out of the house and into the awaiting cars.

The drive to the mall was full of jokes and laughs as we raced down the roads. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, everyone spilled out of the vehicles toward the main entrance.

The mall was incredibly busy as we went from store to store, buying things here and there.

After shopping for a few hours the girls and I go to a spa in the heart of the mall. Each of us got massages, mud or roses baths, manicures and pedicures but each in a different color.

After the spa we decided to go back to Lucas and I's house for dinner and a movie marathon.

By the time we made it to the house it was 4:30 which meant we would have plenty of time to make dinner and pick what movie to watch first.

The girls decided they wanted to change into more comfortable clothes so we stopped at the pack house.

When everyone is changed, the girls and I started to head back to the cars. That was until we heard a small squeak and someone grabbed onto Lenna's arm.

Turning around we saw a guy who stood at around 5'11. He had blonde hair cut into a buzz cut and had a small goatee. He has a medium build but you could tell he spent most of his free time in the gym. He was all up in her face with a evil sneer plastered onto his already ugly face.

"Watch where you're going you worthless loser hybrid! Look at you! So pathetic! You are an abomination! I can't believe the King let's you breath. You and your worthless sister! Now get out of my sight you filthy scum!"

Oh shiitake mushrooms!

Kenna... I'm boiling mad too but let's not do anything rash. We can't shift into a wolf in the middle of the driveway.

You said nothing about me taking over human form.

You would be right.

I felt the shift as Kenna came forward and her anger was evident.

The gasps of shock from our entourage did very little to distract us from seeing a shaking Lenna in the arms of her sister. What enraged us more was the fact that the man who caused this is nowhere to be seen.

The mixed voices of Kenna and I sounds in the air holding immense power and anger.

"Where is he?"

Sofia speaks softly and points.

"Eli went towards the gym."

I storm over to the pack gym beyond enraged that 'Eli' thought it was okay to treat Lenna that way.

Throwing open the doors I prowl into the gym with my eyes narrowed on to the blond on the other side of the gym, laughing at something Dom and Lucas had said.

When we walked into the room everyone gasped.

She was different...

The attention didn't surprise her though, nothing would distract her from her plan. Many followed her with their eyes, whilst keeping their heads bowed, knowing how fierce she is and the punishment they could receive from disrespecting their queen.

I strode across the room, and punched him in the face before he even realized she was there. The sickening crack sounded through the entire room as a satisfied smirk made its way upon our face.

"If I ever find out that you talk to my friends, or anyone for that matter, like that again, I will personally make your life hell and you will spend the rest of your miserable life in a silver cell. Understood?"

Eli looked at me with fear clear in his eyes as he held onto my every word.

"I said do you understand?"

His silence is annoying me.

"Yes Queen Luna. I sincerely apologize for offending you and the disrespectful words I used against your friend."

"Good. Now get out of my sight."

Eli scurried out the door like a pup with their tail between his legs.

Finally satisfied Kenna gave me back control of my body and went back to the back of my mind.

Everyone kept staring at me, most likely fascinated by the change in my hair and eye color.

"Now that I have taken care of that, enjoy the rest of your workouts."

"Wait Audrey."

I spin back around on my heel to face Lucas. He has a bright grin on his face with pride evident in his eyes.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

With that I walked out of the gym, leaving a large group of people bewildered at what they just witnessed.

Making it back to the house the girls and I ate chicken fried steak with white gravy and mashed potatoes before watching The Devil Wears Prada and Sweet Home Alabama.

After the movies the girls went back to the pack house and left me to go to bed for a good night's sleep. Only problem is that I couldn't fall asleep without Lucas' arms around me.

As soon as I said that I hear a quite knock on the door. Throwing the duvet off of me I race to the door and throw it open, being met with the strong smell of sandalwood and a fresh rain. The scent of my mate.

"I can't sleep without you in my arms baby girl. I know what I said about tradition but I can't do it."

"Then what are you doing standing there? I can't sleep without you either so come on. As long as the girls don't find out then no one will know."

Lucas picks me up and carries me to bed before laying us down.

With a kiss to my mark and then a kiss to my lips Lucas speaks before I fall asleep in the arms of my mate.

"I love you baby girl. Goodnight."
