--Anthony's P.O.V.--
"You idiot! You could have gotten us caught!" I yell at my dumbass of a friend.
"It wasn't my fault! It was those guys or whatever the fuck!" He yells back.
"Quit it both of yall!" My father interjects.
"Yellin' at each other ain't gonna get anything done!"
"Sorry," we say.
"Lucky I have some friends in the police station dipshits," My father grumbles.
"Does anyone know where she is now?" He asks with agitation. We shake our heads. I hear him sigh in aggravation.
"Anything we do doesn't seem to work," He says.
"She might be at that guy's house? But we don't know where he lives," I state.
"We could get her back but if her other friends are still around I don't think we could win. They seem trained to fight. I could barely take them and I'm bigger than them. No offense Greg but you're kinda old," Cameron says. My father sends a glare to him.
"She has probably told the police about us too," My father says.
"I guess we will have to leave then," I say looking at both of them.
"Yeah, let's get packed. Let it die down then come back," my father says.
"Alright," We say in unison.
--Emilia's P.O.V.
You know I'm really excited about this date, despite the fact I have no idea what to wear! I grip my hair my frustration. I should have asked him.
What to wear...what to wear...
I jump slightly when I hear a tap on the window. I look over at the window and roll my eyes when I see Xander. Think of him and he shall appear.
I walk over to the window and push it open.
"Need something?" I asked trying to mask my flustered state.
Get a grip it's just a date! I say to myself.
But it's your first date! I reply back.
Now I'm losing it!
"Emilia?"
"Huh? Oh yeah. What's up?" I try saying casually. He gives me a curious glance but brushes it off.
"I noticed you look a little...frazzled," he says while stifling a laugh. I try waving him off with a slight shrug.
"No, totally fine," I say with a laugh and start rubbing my arm.
"Wait. Were you watching me?" I ask raising my eyebrow. I see him widen his eyes.
"No...No, I just happen to glance over, I swear!" He says looking nervous. I laugh at his facial expression. I see him roll his eyes.
"Anyway, Dress casual," Is all he says before going back out the window. Well, I guess that will help. I let out a long sigh before heading back over to my closet.
I pick out black skinny jeans and a dark-grey colored off the shoulder long sleeve shirt. I put on my converse and check the time on my clock at 6:55. I feel my heart leap slightly at seeing the time.
"Emilia! Your date is here!" she yelled. I whip my hands on my jeans to get rid of some of the clamminess. I head out of my bedroom door and towards the living room. I look at Xander to see him staring at me with a smile on his face.

"You look beautiful," he says.
"Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself," I say as a blush creeps up my face.
"Alright have fun! Be home before 12," grandma says. I give her a confused look. 12?!
"What? I just want you guys to have fun and I trust you guys, now git! Go enjoy yourselves!" She laughs before shutting the door.
"That's Mrs. Harrison," Xander says with a shrug. I small laugh escapes my lips.
We walk to his car and he opens the door for me.
"Thank you," I say stepping in.
"You're welcome," He says before shutting the door. I reach up and put my seatbelt on.
He gets to the other side getting in and starts the drive to the unknown destination.
"Where are we going?" I try asking him. He glances at me with a raised eyebrow.
"It's a surprise!" He says giving me a subtle smirk. I cross my arms in a defeated tone and the rest of the ride is silent but comfortable.
We arrive at our destination and it's a small diner. It looks like a classic diner theme.
"Is this okay?" He asks me in a nervous tone.
"Yes, It's great," I say with a gleeful smile on my face. He gives a small smile while he nods his head. I look up at the colorful sign and see the name Mama Marie's Diner.
We step out of the car and walk up to the door. He pushes the door open and the little bell jingles. He holds the door for me while I walk past him. When I walk past him and get a whiff of his cologne. I try not to practical inhale it in as I do. He always smells good.
I follow Xander to a booth and take a seat across from him.
"This seat alright?" He asks.
"Yeah," I say. I glance around the room and notice there aren't very many people here. This place is nice for how old it probably is. I glance back at Xander to see him staring at me with an unreadable expression. I give him a confused look.
"What?" I say a nervous laugh escaping my lips. Do I have something on my face? Do I look okay?
"Just admiring the view," He says a smile playing on his lips. I practically go beat red.
"Thanks," I mutter softly.
"Hello. I'm Amy. What can I get you guys to drink?" She asks handing us menus.
"A coke for me," Xander says. She writes it down then looks at me.
"A sprite for me, please," I say.
"Alright be right back," She says walking to the back.
I've never been here before so I don't really know whats good. I open the menu looking through it but not really finding anything.
"The burgers here are really good. Maple bacon cheeseburger is the best I say," Xander says to me. He wasn't even looking at the menu.
"Do you come here often?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah...well, use to I should say. It's been a while. It was my sister's favorite place," He says with a small smile.
"I'm sorry," I say.
"There's nothing to apologize for," He says giving me a smile. I smile back turning to the menu.
"Alright I'll try that," I say closing the menu. Just in time, the girl walks back over to us with our drinks she sets them down and gets out her notepad.
"You guys ready or do you need a minute?" She asks.
"We're ready. I would like the maple bacon burger with a side of fries," he says.
"I'll have the same thing," I say. She finishes writing before grabbing the menus.
"Alright, I'll have that right out for you," She says walking to the back again.
I look back at Xander and an idea pops in my head.
"Wanna play twenty questions?" I suggest. He looks up tapping his chin as if he is really thinking about it.
"Sure, you go first," He says. I think for a moment trying to come up with a question.
"Favorite color?" I ask. I hear him chuckle lightly.
"That's always the first question isn't it?" He says.
"I guess," I laugh with a small shrug.
"Blue," He says.
"Purple,"
"Have any hobbies?" He asks.
"Besides drawing and reading, there isn't really any," I say. He nods his head.
"Video games," he says. I chuckle with a slight eye roll. Of course.
"Hey, video games are great. You should try them sometime. I bet you could even beat Tony," He says laughing.
I laugh at him.
"I highly doubt that. I have never played before," I say swishing my straw around in my cup.
"Yeah but he really sucks," he laughs. I laugh too because it's just contagious.
"Favorite subject?" I ask. He lets out a chuckle before answering.
"Lunch?" he questions. I give him an 'are you serious look'.
"Alright! Its...math and biology," he mumbles out. I give him a curious look.
"Okay, nothing wrong with that...nerd," I say under my breath. He gives me a playful glare.
"Don't judge me," he fake pouts.
"I'm not. I just think its funny, someone like you, good at math," I say as a grin spreads on my face.
"Mines biology too,"
"Smarty pants," he mumbles looking anywhere but me with a small smirk on his face. I roll my eyes at him.
"Do you have a plan for after high school?" I ask.
"I would like to be a doctor, hopefully..." he trails off.
"Oh wow. What do you mean hopefully?" I ask. I hear him sigh.
"I try to keep my grades up enough to get scholarships and everything to hopefully to help put a dent in my college debt. I've had all A's since my freshman year. I would like to keep it that way," I nod my head in understanding.
"What about you?" He asks me resting his chin on his hands.
"I...uh...want to be a nurse. I always wanted to help people. I would really like to be a doctor but I don't think I could handle being that much in debt but I don't know. That's why I also really care about my grades so I can get scholarships and grants to help pay some of it at least to be a nurse," I ramble on.
I look back at Xander and see him just staring at me. I feel my cheeks heat up a little.
"Sorry. I ramble sometimes," I say waving my hands.
"No no, it's fine. I just think it fascinating we both want to be in the same field," he says with a smile growing on his face.
"Alright you guys, here is your burgers. Hope you enjoy. Call me if you need anything," she says with a huge smile plastered on her face.
"Thank you," we say in unison.
I look at the burger in front of me. My eyes widen in disbelief.
I don't think I can eat all of this.
"If you can't eat it all it's alright," he says trying to stifle a laugh.
"Why would you recommend such a big burger!" I say gesturing to the huge stakes of burger and bacon.
"Here," he says. He grabs my plate cutting it in half for me.
"Might make it easier," he says a chuckle erupting from his chest.
I give him a playful glare and pick up the half with two hands. I take a bite and almost moan at how good it is. Can't go wrong with bacon.
"This is really good," I say. I see he has also dug into his food.
"Yeah," he says with food in his mouth. He looks back giving me a sheepish smile. He swallows his food and gives me an apologetic smile.
"Sorry," he says. I wave him off.
"No need to apologize," I say with a giggle.
I continue eating and Xander is practically inhaling his food. He still has a great body for how much he eats.
"You got something on your face," he says pointing to my cheek. I cover my face with my hand and pick up my napkin wiping my lips.
"Did I get it?"
"No, its...here," he says taking a napkin and wiping it for me.
My face is probably beet red.
"There you go," he says as if it was nothing.
"Thanks,"
"You're welcome," he says with a beaming smile.
I look back at my plate and continue digging into my food.
