Chapter Seventeen: Public Bath

The scent is of the sea was all around the place, food fresh out of the ocean was being sold and tired yet happy faces whenever you look.

You were busy putting water on the fish on the table when you heard Jungkook's voice, Jungkook the man you almost forget he was here.

" Hallmonii, I gave you the best one here..." Jungkook whined cutely at the lady who just bought something " Do you think I will not give you a fresh one? me?"

"Aygoo I am sorry i am sorry "The old lady laughed "I will come here everyday to buy from you, make sure to keep the best for me..." She waved and left.

" Come again.." He waved before shouting again " FRESH FROM THE SEA.....WE SELL THE BEST, COME AND SEE ...."

You couldn't hide your smile at the scent of him, his face was old longer clean and his clothes all wet and dirty because of the hard work he have been doing since the morning.

Not just selling but helping the old fishermen around to get their fish to the market since he was probably the youngest man around.

" I told you to wear something old.."You laughed and splashed some water on him.

"Well....You should have told me where we're going if you really cared." He laughed and looked down at his clothes.

You laughed with him"How many you sold?"

" Prepare your money sweet wife, You'll have to buy me a factory or candies ..." He joked and showed the empty spots in the table " You husband sold almost everything already.."

"Should I take it back? You seem to be enjoying yourself." You teased

" It's the first time I come here you know." He smiled " I don't eat seafood as well, so...."

" Well, no offense but even if you like seafood do you think you'll come here to buy it? Ha Rich guy?" You said and he laughed

" I think you're stereotyping us, the rich community. Mrs.Jeon." he winked and smirked when saying the last word.

You rolled your eyes and run away from him to continue your work.

This rich guy always has a way to shush me.

After a long day in the market, You said goodbye to the ladies and walked away with Jungkook.

" Why did you accepted this, None of us actually will eat it." Jungkook stretched his arms after pointing at the bag you were holding.

The old lady always give you some fish to take home with you. "She'll feel bad if I didn't take anything in return of my help, I wouldn't accept money of course so I agree on taking this so she'll feel better." you smiled while walking slowly with the man.

"Oh I see." He nodded in return then smelled his clothes " Oh god......I stink "

You laugh "Both of us do actually."

" There's no way we're going hom like this, The house will smell fish for the next month." Jungkook laughed "Let's go to a public bath."

" WHAT?" Your eyes widened "Come on it's j----------"

" We're going."he gave you a smile as if saying, 'Don't even try'.

As he wished, you two entered the bath house and Jungkook paid for a couple-bath which caused you to give him a look.

"What are you trying to do, Pervert." You whispered and rolled your eyes.

the man winked and lean to whisper back " We're married my dear."

You slapped his arm "Stop joking, tell her to cancel it."

"Why? It's not like we'll get naked " he laughed " Plus there isn't solo-bath, it's either a couple or a group one..... and trust me looking like this no one will agree getting near to us so........Come on my sweet wife." Jungkook walked behind you and push you forward the same you did this morning.

He walked into the bath the lady told him to go and there was three huge bathtubs calling you to jump inside.

"Wow...." You faked a cry "the water seems hot..."

" I know I know.." he agreed and start talking his clothes.

" Hey Hey....stop w-wait." You waved your hands in the air to stop him." Look, We'll both turn around, strip and get inside the bathtubs.....You take this and I will take the one in the end, Leave this empty, okay? " You decided to let the bathtub in the middle empty as a barrier.

" Fine fine. hurry up I will throw up from this.... " Jungkook said " I will put them in the washing machine outside while we're here."

You agreed, The moment you took all your clothes off you jumped into the tub. you slide down into the hot water, letting it block out the sounds around you for a second, closing your eyes to the water as the heat soaks into your skin " Wow this is so relaxing.....Guess you were right, Rich guy."

"Told you taking a couple room is better.." He laughed and you opened your eyes immediately and looked at his direction.

" Don't try to look, Okay? "you glared at him but he just laughed and waved his arm at you, since both of you were inside the water only your heads were showing so guess you were safe.

You closed your eyes again as the water cascading down your body and massaging muscles long past cramped.

This is amazing.

Both of didn't say a word for about ten minutes, just enjoying the water.

" Y/N ah " Jungkook sighed through the silent room. "Thank you for today."he mumbled

You crack an eyelid and raise a brow at the same time, You looked at his direction " What? I couldn't hear you." You said the truth.

The man turned to look at you from his place, But then he regretted his action right away, He couldn't stop staring at how beautiful your face looked, It was all red from the hot temperature, your hair was up in a messy bun yet obviously wet, your neck flashed while the drops of water making his mind go crazy, crazy in a way he didn't like.

" I...s-said thank you for today." Jungkook turned away immediately "It was what I needed to clear my mind."

You smiled softly and turned away too " You're welcome."

You didn't say anything else as both of you enjoined the relaxing moments you two needed.

After few minutes Jungkook begin to stand up making you look to the other side right away "I will check if our clothes are drying of.."

"O-okay...." You said then remember there were things you didn't want him to see there.....Your underwear and bra "W-wait I will come with you.. " You looked at him and froze.

The man was naked.

Well he wasn't exactly naked, he wore a towel around his waist but to you he was, you almost lost your breath at the sight of him, Your eyes immediately went to his abs you couldn't help but stare at them and his messy hair was matted down with wetness didn't help, Without a lie,It was such a temptation to look at his body.

" You know.......You can look as you like, I won't stop You." He said in a teasing tone, arms crossed with a smirk on his lips.

You blink and immediately realize what you were doing. You cleared your throat "D-don't be ridiculous..." You looked away feeling the familiar heat of your body rising. " G-go outside and let me get the towel ....."

Now.....You wanted to jump off a cliff.

You heard his laugh before he left.

You looked behind to check and he wasn't there so you quickly walked out the bath. Sighing you wrapped the towel around yourself before Smacking your right cheek to get some sense in yourself, you breathe in a calm breath. " I am crazy."

You then walked where Jungkook just left.

" The drying is done?." You asked announcing your presence trying as much as you can not to stare at his bare back. God he's sexy.

Jungkook turned when he heard you " Almost....Just couple of m------ Ohh " Jungkook had a naughty smirked formed on his lips.

You immediately flushed as you held the towel tightly more to yourself "ANYWAYS, Don't dare taking my ..... well.......clothes out of there."

As much as Jungkook played the teasing part he couldn't deny himself being a man standing in front of a beautiful woman. " Don't worry I won't." He winked then swallowed hard trying not to look over you too much.

Meanwhile you were dying inside and wished something will happen to end this awkward moment which exactly what happen.

Suddenly a loud scream of a woman was heard from the other room which caused you to jump a little then look at Jungkook automatically, The man's eyes widened and was already starting to run toward the direction of the scream when you stopped he by grabbing his arm.

" w-wait..... What if it's dangerous out there we h--------" starting to panic you could the throbbing of your own eyes.

" Just stay here.." The man cupped her face with his hands " I w---"

"SOMEBODY HELP..." The woman scream again and now Jungkook didn't waste a second before running toward it leaving you shaking with the people that start to gather around after hearing the scream as well.

Fear start to torture your guts, churning my stomach in tense cramps "D-don't be sc------" You tried to calm yourself down by holding the towel tightly around your body when you heard Jungkook voice.

" Y/N COME HERE....HURRY." Jungkook called you and you immediately imagined him laying down with blood over his body, you imagined a man beating him to death, Your hands tremble and eyes water as your feet began to reach the room.

Before entering, there was man with the bathhouse uniform already running telling people to call 119.

You finally could make a step inside the room to see a man laying down obviously having seizure, a woman wearing a towel similar to yours crying in the corner and Jungkook using his hand to try to stop the man from hitting his head on the floor.

You froze for a second before Jungkook's loud voice woke you up "Y/N AH ..."

You immediately run toward the men and kneel down.

" Don't try to stop him just keep your hands under his head." Jungkook did what you said and kept watching you "We need to place him on his side, His airway needs to be clear...Help me." Obviously you wearing strong enough to push a man especially while having a seizure so Jungkook helped you " Get me a towel..." You said looking at the woman but she was in panic to hear you so you shouted " GET ME A FUCKING TOWEL"

She jumped from you loud voice and run to do what you told her, Went she gave it to you, you used it to cushion his head then just waited.

"What now? "Jungkook asked you

"Nothing....We wait...... It should stop in few seconds." You mumbled and kept looking at the man's face, and just as you said the jerking was slowly stopping and the man started to recover.

" Jake ? Baby?.."The woman start calling his name " Are you okay? " her voice was cracking.

The man called Jake took a deep breath and nodded his head while keeping his eyes closed.

" Help is here...." A man shouted then two paramedics entered so that was the end of your work, you stepped back and watched then carry the man out for fresh air and more caring.

Before the woman start to run following them she turned to you and mouthed a thank you with soft smile and you returned it with a small nod.

You sighed in relief and sat at the edge of the bath tub, Jungkook came toward you and kneel down in one knee " Hey...."

" We're already married, you don't have to propose." You joked with a small chuckle but he didn't laugh instead he cupped your face again with his hands then, using his thumb he wiped away the tears that you didn't know they were falling.

"You were amazing." He smiled softly at you "I knew you were scared but yet you helped him."

" It's m-my job ..." You looked away embarrassed, nervous and your heart beating in a crazy pace.

What's he doing to me?.

" We're so sorry." thanking god the employees came to interrupt you, they bowed and apologized "And we thank you for your help, we're really appreciate ."

Jungkook stood up and nodded to them and you just smiled.

When they left you stood up and slapped Jungkook's arm " Aww what?"

You glared at him "They saw me looking like this, What kinda husband are you? " You rolled your eyes and walked away to your bath smiling like an idiot.

Jungkook blinked few times before running behind you, You were already inside your bath tub when he came and jumped into the bath tub next to you.

" Yaaa I told you to keep this empty." You glared at him but he ignored you and lay his head in the edge and closed his eyes.

" I don't feel like I like it." He said.

" pervert." You mumbled and did the same as him.

"I wasn't the one starting at your body "He laughed " well I looked but not as much as you...."

" Shut up already " You blushed "I am pretty sure you know you're hot and all, so don't pretend like you didn't have all South Korea's women looking at you at least for a second."

The man laughed " I can't disagree but......Don't blame me as well for teasing you, You adorable af my dear wife..." He said making you open your eyes and look at him with eyes wide open, Did he just........." I honestly don't understand why that man called Mark even thought of going out with another...... fucking crazy " he sighed and the smile that was in your face faded.

You looked down and painfully smiled at the thought "Well, If you say I am adorable.... Mark needed sexy and confident which what Dami is, she's more be-------"

" Are you fucking serious ? " Jungkook opened his eyes and sat up straight "I saw this Dami girl, and trust me Y/N she is in no way compared to you."

"I know." you swallowed hard still looking down.

" 'no way compared to you' as in you're better in everything Y/N that's what I meant." The man said and you looked at him surprised. "I don't know why you look down on yourself but you're really amazing, You're beautiful, honest, kind you help everyone in need and you respect yourself, You're really attractive the way you are, take it from a friend who has no benefit in lying to you."

Your heart will probably explode any second from now but you didn't want to make him notice that so you joked "Be my boyfriend then."

" W-wh..." Jungkook's eyes widened and he blinked them a couple of times before you start laughing.

" I am joking, Rich guy, I am joking " You laughed and splashed water on his face "You look so funny shocked like that.."

Jungkook rolled his eyes and splashed water on you as well, and this how your stay at the bathhouse continued.

It was around 1am when you entered the house after the bathhouse and then dinner, Both of you were exhausted, you barely made it to the door.

" I a-am so tired...."Jungkook whined and throw himself in the couch right away.

"At lease take your shoe off." You yawed and followed him sitting in the couch as well throwing your head back and close your eyes right away."It was hella of a day."

" It was." Jungkook laughed.

And that was it, none of you could speak another word as both fall asleep there.
