Chapter Twenty Two: New experience

Later that night when you finally arrived home Jungkook stopped you before you start walking toward your room.

" I will make tea, D..Do you want some ? "The man asked and waited for you to speak.

You took few seconds studying his face, the handsome man next to you was the reason you're feeling weird those days.. you even went to a blind date just to distract yourself from him but ended up having a therapy session about him and a fight with his ex .

" Sure, Why not?" You looked at him with your close set black eyes and smiled.

Jungkook nodded and followed you to the kitchen.

In the kitchen you sat in the chair next to the table and watched carefully the confused looking man opening random drawers. "Hmm tea should be....here?" He mumbled while walking around.

" Jungkook..." You called his name

" Y-Yes?" Jungkook looked at you and blinked.

" That's the oven." You laughed when he blushed shyly.

" Oh! Right.."He laughed and rubbed the back of his neck still looking around when you stood up and walked toward him, Jungkook glanced up as you approached.

" Sit down, Rich guy." Your gentle hands patted his arm while laughing. "I will do it."

" Yes please.." Jungkook run and sat as if he was waiting for you to finally save him, the man sat and watched as you kept on giggling like a little girl , a thing you do a lot when you feel happy which happened to be something you feel when with him.

You didn't even notice.

" Finally you put the tea in the boiled water and done....." You smiled and placed down two cups, one next to you and one next to Jungkook " What's so hard? ."

" Sorry for being a disappointment." He joked when you shook your head and smiled, That smile is the prettiest thing He has seen in a while, for it extends to your eyes and deep into your soul as if you totally forget your arguing minutes ago and that was one of many reasons he felt comfortable with you, you don't hold the grudge and understand when there's a misunderstanding.

" So... How was your date?" Jungkook didn't dare to look at your face as he looked at hot cup warming his hands.

" Good." You bite your lips and looked down at your cup as well not knowing what to actually say about your meeting with Ravi and most importantly the words he said.

You love Jungkook, You really do but you weren't ready to talk to him about it.

You were never a person who make the first move.

" Y...you just had dinner?" Jungkook asked again and you nodded.

" Yeah, pretty much what happened at every first date." You looked up at Jungkook who had a bored expression in his face.

" Yeah..... In 1947 maybe." He said and you glared at him for being sarcastic " Who takes a girl for dinner on their date? It's boring, Didn't you feel bored?" The man wished you'd say that as he looked at you.

" No, Not at all." You smirked at him and he rolled his eyes immediately "Dr.Ravi was nice and h-----"

" So he's a doctor? Aha I should have known you like doctors, You know so you can have boring conversations about .......you know health and all " Jungkook's eyes were fixed on yours.

" What? "Your eyes widened " No...that's not....well maybe few words but no... my god.." you shook your head and sipped from tea before glaring at him again " What's your idea of a date then Mr.2019 ?"

" Oho you just asked an expert my dear ." Jungkook cleared his throat, His mouth twitched, and you were pretty sure he was fighting a smile " Wowing a woman takes more than just go out for dinner, I will show you some day how that works."

" Wowing? That's a specific term. " You laughed and sipped your tea again "But I don't think it's necessary to wow a woman on the first date."

You noticed the smirk that was placed in Jungkook's face when you say that "So, Mr.Doctor didn't wow you in any kind!" He smiled with satisfaction, as if having completed a deeply, personally needed action; expressed by the slightest curve at the corner of his mouth and a youthful confidence worn in a light raise of his eyebrow above a quizzical, joyful eye.

" He was nice." You smiled and looked at you cup " But not enough to tickle my heart the way someone else does."

With that Jungkook didn't say anything else, And his smile died faster than wisps of smoke dissipated after a candle flame has been snuffed out.

"So, You still love him. " Jungkook finally said and you looked up to meet his emotionless eyes.

"Who?" You blinked your eyes

" That Bitch of a man you were about to marry." The man rolled his eyes and sighed

You laughed " It's weird you know.." You painfully smiled and looked at your cup " I don't feel sad or..... any type of feelings when I think about Mark or someone mention him, It is weird, isn't it?."

Jungkook squinted and stared at you "So...Your date didn't go well."

" Huh?"

" I m..mean you said it...... his nice but... you said but...."

You laughed and grabbed the empty cup and walked to the sink " I made a new friend though." You turned and winked to Jungkook before walking toward the door " Have a good night, Jungkook." with a last smile you walked away.

" Good." Jungkook whispered an a stupid smile couldn't leave his mouth.

The next day

-Evening-

" Thanks Y/N have a nice weekned...." The head nurse waved her hands and said goodbye to you when you smiled.

" I will see you on Monday." You said and walked out the nurse station heading out the hospital when the guard stopped you.

" Miss Y/N Hello!." The old man bowed and you did the same.

" Hi Mr.Park, How are you ? " You smiled at him.

" Pretty good thank you dear." He laughed softly

" Your wife and kids doing well?" You asked showing politeness in your tone.

The man was so nice and he always help you out, his smile was warm and it was hard being rude to him " They'll all good...." he nodded " By the way, There's someone asking for you. He told me to call you to the rooftop when you finish your work."

" Huh?" You blinked your eyes confused " Someone asking for me in the rooftop? " your head tilting to the side "Are you sure?"

" Yes." His mouth curved into a smile "Go hurry, it's been about 30 minutes already..." The old man dragged you to the elevator and waved you good bye when the door gets closed.

"Who could it be? " You asked yourself " Doctor Ken needs something? "

You were confused but shook your head and waited for the elevator to get you there.

The cold crisp air blew through you, rustling your hair and chilling your bones when you walked out to the rooftop, The corners of your mouth lift up into a smile as soon as you recognized the person standing by the edge, even though you were facing his back.... You knew who he was.

Jeon Jungkook.

" What are you doing?" You let your smile widen into a brilliant grin and you walked toward him, Jungkook turned and did the same.

" Wowing you." he shouted and you continued to smile, a smile that has the man beaming at you.

" And how are you going to do that? " You were laughing now, feeling absolutely delirious.

Jungkook walked toward you, really close that had you freeze then He leaned in and whispered something in your ear, his deep raspy voice sending shivers down your spine.

" Watch me.."

Jungkook stepped back one step and raised his hand for some reason.

Suddenly a loud heli noise filled the air making you jumped closer to Jungkook from the surprise and immediately look behind you.

Your eyes went round and mouth fell open when you see a helicopter ready to take off blowing huge gusts of wind that are sure to blow you off the building if you weren't holding into the man next to you, Your hair flutters in the wind from the helicopter blades, The loud sound making you almost deaf.

" ARE YOU READY FOR A RIDE HOME? " Jungkook shouted and took your hand to start dragging you toward the helicopter but you stopped him.

" ARE YOU CRAZY? "You yelled, Your face went blank not believing what's going on.

" Yes I am." Jungkook winked nodding as if this was the most ordinary ride home ever.

" W-wait....I HAVE NEVER R......... WAIT......." You yelled when he picked you up bridal style and start walking " WAIT JUNGKOOK I C......."

" SHUT UP AND TRUST ME." He looked down at you in his arms and smiled brightly as your cheeks flush and heart raced.

You felt an intoxicating brew of fear, awe and ecstasy when Jungkook took you inside the helicopter, a thing you've only seen in TV. You swallowed when he placed headphones in your ears before fixing the seat belt tightly around your body.

You watched as he get in and took the seat next to you, wore his headphones and did the belt same as you before closing the doors.

" You ready? " Now you could hear him clearly through the headphones. he smiled, when he did your blood wakes up your brain, Your smile grows of its own accord and you can either let him see what he ignited or hide it but ......you don't care anymore, You held his hand and nodded.

With that Jungkook nodded to the pilot and here you felt like every fiber of yours being was vibrating with anticipation. Adrenaline was coursing through your veins. your hands trembled in the man's hand.

Watching you all happy and excited because of his surprise, The excitement wired Jungkook's body like he was plugged into the mains. He felt like his brain was on fast-forward and there was no off switch. " LET'S GO." Jungkook shouted and you did the same.

" Oh my god oh my god....." You closed your eyes and grabbed Jungkook's hand tighter when you felt the helicoptergoing up.

Up on the helicopter the wind streamed through your hair, almost blowing it off. "Open your eyes..." You heard Jungkook's voice and you took a deep breath before doing what he said.

The wind was blowing your hair into your face. you couldn't see below you, all you knew is you are really high up. You didn't actually looking down, You looked up. You looked up at the stars, they appeared to be twinkling but you knew that it's really just the atmosphere changing the way the light gets to your eyes .The moon was out in an odd shape,

You brushed some your hair out of your face and turned to Jungkook who was looking at you " Is it still scary?" he smiled

" No, IT'S REALLY FUN." You shouted

You finally looked down at the rushing cars below. You could've been one of the people below in the city but instead you were up here, experiencing a beautiful feeling with the man you said you love.

After about 15 minutes in air, the pilot suddenly start talking to Jungkook about something while you were enjoying the view.

You were far from Seoul you know but you can't complain. It was the best experience you probably ever had.

" Y/N ah..." You heard Jungkook through the headphones so you turned to see him and nodded your head " There's a storm coming so we'll have to land around here so we're not going home yet, Is that okay with you? "

" Storm? " You asked then looked up to see the stars and the moon are already gone, you were distracted by the view down that you didn't noticed the clouds from up. You looked at Jungkook again "Yeah of course it's okay." You smiled.

The pilot found a empty ground and start going down and strangely you weren't so scared like the first time.

After about five minutes the helicopter was already in the ground, Jungkook took his seat belt off and so you did.

You watched as he was the first to get out the helicopter, He then turned and offered his hand to you " Let me help you..." He told you and you gladly took his hand and jumped off, the smile never left your face which what Jungkook noticed.

It took the helicopter blades about other three minutes to finally stop blowing your hair and making you able to hear again.

" IT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE" You happily told Jungkook who stared at you admiring your shining eyes.

"See....That's what wowing a woman sounds like." Confidently, he said. You laughed

" It's not about wowing anybody but just......... It was awesome," You looked up at Jungkook with a huge smile, extending from eye to eye.

His heart raced when your velvet like voice reached his ear, He liked how yours eyes locked with his, and how your hand brushed against his. probably you didn't noticed you were still holding it. He never knew he would be putty in your hands.

But he did.

And here when he knew, He was screwed

Each day with you is another day he fall more for your smile, your laugh, your easy-going personality and everything else about you. At this point not a rewarding climb of a mountain nor a golden medal could make him feel as amazing, as happy, as the way you were smiling.

Because of him.

" Beautiful." He said suddenly, his pulse raced looking into your eyes he saw deep pools of pure blackness that displayed your soul.

"Huh?" You blinked your eyes and looked at him confused.

" Your smile......your smile is b-beautiful." Jungkook swallowed hard as he waited for your reaction, Will she be mad?

But you didn't.

You just nodded and looked up at the clouded night sky then at him again paused a bit then said " For bringing my smile back ..." you stepped closer to him " And for making me feel things I thought I could never feel again....." You took another step closer, Jungkook's face warmed as you crept closer and wrapped your arms around his shoulders. The man normally do not like skinship but this felt different. He longed for it; He craved it. The way your nimble hands caressed his face, or your gentle eyes met his own. At this moment, Your beauty was incredible; His heart was falling for you by the second. 'I am so screwed'. He thoughts . As you draws closer to him, you felt your heart beat so hard you fear he'll hear it, and if he does, Your secret is secret no more. You were praying so hard that this is the moment you'll let all your feelings out.

So..

Your lips touched his cheek. Time stopped. Both your hearts came to a halt. His breath caught in his throat.

A hot blazing fire pulsed through him and a small grin crept onto your face and your cheeks painted themselves rose red. As the soft skin of your lips left the side of his face, the exact spot where they had come into contact burned and tingled. Then he hear you speak, barely a whisper as you draws back and smile, "Thank you, Jeon Jungkook." You turn away before he can think to reply, your black jacket is what he can see only before the sky agreed to help you to cool your body that was burning.

Rain floats in gentle waves, as if gravity is a soft music from the Earth, a sweet beckoning serenade. Each drop bequeathed itself unto the cooling air - wet lifeboats in a dry sea. Jungkook watched you trying to cover your head with your jacket while laughing, He finally smiled to himself before pulling the black hood over his saturated form as he saunter in the soft rain then run toward you taking your hand he start to run with you.

" There's a near hotel we can stay the night in but we need to.....run." He turned and smiled at you while both run under the rain, clothes already soaking wet and dirty from the mud that was splashing from the ground to your pants.

When finally entering the hotel, you went to your knees , trying to catch your breath. your lungs felt like they would burst . " We made it..." You laughed with Jungkook

" We did..." He laughed before looking around the people who seems to care about a couple getting inside their so called high stared hotel, Wet and dirty. But he didn't mind them " Wait here, I will get us a room..." He said and walked about three steps before stopping and looking back to you again " Or....You prefer to have your own room, I mean I can book two if you won----"

" Nah..." You shook your head "This hotel seems to be expensive, We'll manage with one room." You smiled at him then waved your hand for him to leave " Hurry before they kick us out...."

" o-okay." Jungkook nodded and walked to the reception.

He came back after five minutes and showed you the key " Let's go before you catch cold."
