[Adam POV]

The Phone is ringing loudly on the table lamp next to the bed. I heard it, but I just don't feel like waking up. I grunts when the noise is getting annoying, so I reach out for it and slide it up to answer the call.

"What is it?"

"You know, there's a saying the early bird catches the worm. So wake up sunshine!" The other caller is annoying as hell like usual.

"Damn, your voice is annoying as hell. Just leave me alone!" I yell and I end the call before he could reply.

Great, now I can't sleep! Thanks a lot, Noah!

I get up and sit on the bed. I look at the view outside of the window, the sun is rising and it's beautiful as always. 

This is what she's been looking for every day. No wonder she wakes up early.

I walk to the bathroom to wash up for a bit before I go and take a morning run. I put on my Nike zip-up top and running short as usual. I put on my wireless earphone and put on the songs that she always listening to when she runs with me. 

It's my routine to run every day for at least an hour and get a little bit of exercise for almost a year since she's gone. After she's gone, I didn't interact with people and be alone for almost a month. I keep on searching for her, but even her family doesn't know where she is. 

She did contact Bella to inform of her safety, but not her location. I was frustrated at first and I get mad easily because she easily left me, while I suffered a lot as I missed her so much. Bella and Fay even ask her best friends, but they also didn't know of her whereabouts.

I finally give in and I started to make myself busy, to prevent my breakdown of missing her. I didn't blame her for getting mistaken when she sees Emily in my apartment, I should have gone to her in the first place. The Lee's always give me strength and updates on Nea whenever I came to visit, which is almost 2 or 3 times every week. This is the only way I could relieve from missing her presence in my life.

I met Mrs. Blake 3 months after she's gone missing and she told me about Nea's student exchange program, except that she leaves the location information from me. Mrs. Blake also told me to give her time and I should wait for her to come back because she will sooner or later. So I decided from that day onward that I will wait for her patiently and also grows myself to be a better Adam when she comes back. 

She did give me back her wedding ring, but it's because she's mistakenly thought that Emily and I get back together. I put on her wedding ring on my necklace while I put on my own wedding ring on my ring finger, which I haven't taken off since she went away.

After almost an hour of running, I went back home. As soon as I open the front door, I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. I walk over and rolled my eyes as the boys smile sheepishly while having breakfast that mum cooked.

"Can't I get a break from seeing you guys for at least a day?" I take a bottle of mineral water from the fridge and gulp it down. They all shake their heads in unison and Mum smiles softly.

"How are you today?" Mum asks it's her new habit since Nea's gone. She's worried about me so she decided to stay and let dad go on his business meeting alone, although I reminded her I'm okay and she should just go with dad.

"I feel great mum." I kissed her cheek and I sit on the kitchen counter as I look at the boys, "What do we have today?"

Alex cleared his throat, "A meeting with one of the shareholders. Then we have another meeting around BU in the afternoon. Think we could make it?"

"Yeah, we can. Who's going with me?" I take a sip of the water and I see all of them raise their hand. "All of you? Great!" I jumped off the counter as I make my way to my room.

The boys' thanks mum and kiss her cheek before following me to my room. They all sit everywhere in the room as I picked out a suit in the dressing room. Alex stood behind me, "Still got no news from her?" I shake my head silently.

"How long is her program?" Alex asks as he leans on the wall.

"I don't know, but it's been a year." I look at Alex and smiles before I went into the bathroom.

The boys are talking while sitting on the couch when I get out of the bath and get ready. While I fix up my tie, Alex just ended the call with Leia, "How is she doing?"

"Good, in fact, she wanted to start preparing for the wedding. She even said that she hoped Nea is there when we got married." Alex said, but there's a bit of uncertainty in his voice.

"I hoped so too." I get my car keys and all the necessary things as the boys follow behind. We decided to just get in one car since all of us are going to the same place.

Sara comes out running as she hugs Lucas, "I'll miss you." She kisses him on the lips and he kissed her back, "Me too."

William and Noah make a disgusted face before Noah yell, "Get a room!"

Sara punched his shoulder and he backed away, "Damn Sara, it hurt. This is your future Luc!"

Sara tries to punch him again, but Lucas pulls her back, "He's just jealous since he's the only one single."

"Hey!" Noah yells as he gets in the back seat of the car.

"Luc, we're going to be late. Let's go." Alex said and Lucas nods as he gets inside. Sara waved as we drive away fast to the meeting location.

We're now near BU, and the meeting is about to finish. I decided to help dad and also manage my own business along the way. I still have some classes since I'm in my last year of study, the same goes for the boys and Sara. Except that we are going back and forth from Boston to hometown every week. We only stayed when we needed to, like class back to back, test or exams.

"Thank god it's over." Lucas wiped his face roughly, all of us are tired of meetings.

I pat him on the back, twice, "Toughen up, lover boy." Lucas laughs as he pats me back, "You too."

William stands as he said, "I'm going to meet Kris. We're staying for the night, right?"

All of us nods, "Cool! Meet you guys back in the apartment." William walks fast out of the building.

"Damn, he got whipped," Noah says as he smiles.

"You'll meet your other half later, Noah. Trust me." Lucas pats him and he grunts.

"Let's go and have dinner," I said as we all walk away and find a place to have dinner.

All of us went to have dinner at the restaurants near BU and it's packed with BU Students. Some of them recognize us and greet, we greet them back before focusing on the food.

My phone rang and I pick it up, "Adam Clark speaking."

"She's back." I heard William mutters and my eyes widen.

"What?" My heart started to race and my eyes fall to a figure in front of the restaurant's door. She walks inside as she smiles to the guy who's walking next to her. I stand up abruptly and walk to her. She stopped when she saw me and her smile vanish as her eyes widen.

"Adam." She says in a low whisper. I stand in front of her as my breathing gets heavier.

I hug her suddenly making her yelps to my tight hug.

"I miss you baby. Damn, I miss you like crazy Nea." I can feel tears roll down as I shut my eyes, feeling her close to me.

I won't let you go from now on.
