"Nate! Ailee!" I look around to hear any footsteps of those two little midgets. They are already almost three years old and god! they are hyper. I just got back from work, a library cafe, my own dream business that I started almost a year ago. I often brought the twins along with me to the cafe, they even have their own playroom there.

Two and a half year ago, when Adam and I knew we are going to have twins, we decided not to know the gender. Then after 9 months of pregnancy, I gave birth to our prince, Nate Arthur Clark, and princess, Ailee Nicholette Clark, which are now precious grandchildren to both of our parents.

They both have two different personalities, Nate who came out 5 seconds early before Ailee is quieter and reserved like me, while Ailee personalities are more like Adam who is easy going and confident. The only thing that they both share is their hyper-activeness that caused me and Adam a lot of sleepless nights in our first year as parents.

I walk towards the living room to find both of them when I had not heard a single sound from them. I stopped and sigh when I see the mess that both of them made in the living room. I turn around and continue to look for them both. I walked past mine and Adam's working space then straight to the twins' playroom which is the room at the end. I sigh again when they both are not in the playroom.

I should probably put a tracker on both of them.

"Babies! Where are you?" I stood silently in front of the stairs which is next to the living room. Silent, there's not a single sound from both of them, here goes my panic button. I run upstairs to look for them both, but still nowhere to be found.

Oh my god! Relax Nea. Both of them are going to be fine.

My hand is shaking as I pulled out my phone to call Adam, it's ringing but he's not picking up. I walk aimlessly around the house as my eyes frantically trying to find my babies. The line keeps ringing but Adam is not picking up the call, its unusual because he's not the one that would keep his phone away even when he's working.

"Come on baby, pick up! Pick up, pick up, pick up.." I walk towards the backyard and opens the door...

"SURPRISED!!"

I jump back in surprise and dropped my phone to the floor. My eyes widen as I look at the crowd of my loved one on my backyard, my hands are already at my mouth covering my loud scream. My eyes caught the who-i-believe is the mastermind of the situation and also the one who's currently walking towards me holding both of my babies in front of him. Nate and Ailee are holding a bouquet of mixed pink, white and red roses, covering their daddy's face.

"Happy Birthday Mommy!" Both of them said as soon as Adam stopped in front of me, my unshed worried tears roll down and a second later it became a messed sob. I saw Adam peeked through the flowers when he heard my slowly becomes louder sob.

"Oh shit!" He exclaims slowly afraid the twins might catch the bad words. He gestures for the boys to take the twins from him and both, Lucas and Alex run to take the twins from Adam.

"Hey, baby..shh I'm sorry if I scared you. I'm so sorry." Adam whispers to my ears as he held me in his warm arms, holding me tight.

"No, I just panicked when Nate and Ailee are nowhere to be seen. I must've ruined the surprise didn't I?" I pulled away still not breaking the hug as I looked at Adam. He smiles softly and shakes his head.

"Not at all, in fact, if you're not crying, it'll be a lot weirder.. for us." Adam laughs as I punched him at his chest. We both turn around when we heard a cough, all of my family and friends are looking at us smiling widely.

I wipe my tears away as I walk up to them and hugged all of them, one by one as they wished me a happy birthday while Adam is keeping his close distance to me.

"Mommy?" Adam and I look at Ailee who's in Alex's arms, "are you okay?"

I held out my hands to Ailee and she reached out to my arms as I carry her, "Mommy is okay."

"Why are you crying, mommy?" Nate asks me as Adam carry him up in his arms.

"Mommy thought mommy lost both you. Mommy can't find you anywhere in the house. Mommy was worried."

"We won't do it again." Both of them said in unison and I lean to kiss them both and they reply by kissing my cheek like usual.

"Only mommy? Daddy wants a kiss too.." Adam pouted and the twins chuckle as they kiss him on the cheek.

"How about your favorite uncles and aunties?"

I look at my friends who are standing around us when I heard Lucas's words. Nate and Ailee shake their head sternly.

"Aww, why?"

"Because, you hide me and Ailee..and..and made mommy sad." Nate stutters but he made it sounds stern enough.

"Hey! It's all your daddy's idea.." Lucas pouted and made a begging gesture to Nate and Ailee, but they just silently shake their heads again. All of them look at me silently begging for my help.

"Babies, what did mommy say about apologizing and forgiving?"

"It makes us a bigger person.." Both of them said in sync and made us all smile. I tilt my head and signal to their uncles and aunties. Nate and Ailee turns around and held out their hands to Lucas that quickly pick them up in his arm. After a round of kisses and hugs, Nate and Ailee run to their cousins and friends to play.

Adam pulls me to the table to slice the cake, my favorite fruit cake. Nate and Ailee run to us and we held them in our arms as we blew the candle and cut the cake together. I smile throughout the party as I look at each of my family and friends.

I saw Bella and Sam linking arms as they talk to Fay and Tom who's holding hands lovingly. Bella and Sam are currently expecting their first child, while Fay and Tom are having a steady relationship as they are now in University.

I turn to look at Lucas and Sara holding their 5-month-old baby girl, Christine, as they talk to Alex and Leia who's holding their one-year-old baby boy, Daniel. William and Kris, who are waiting for their big day in a month are lovingly seated next to each other across Noah and his fiance, Willow, the girl that he met during our second honeymoon.

I smile softly at them when a hand hugging my waist from behind. I did not jump in surprise because I knew who's hand is it, and because I've recognized this warm hands.

"Why are you looking at them like that? I'm jealous." I chuckled and my fingers ruffle his hair making him smile. I tilt my head to the right, as I saw his eyes on me I quickly peck his lips making him groan dissatisfied with the quick kiss as he moves to get more. I laugh as I turn my head to the other side resulted in him kissing my neck.

"How about we make another baby?" My eyes widen to Adam's suggestion.

"Excuse me, what?" Adam chuckles while he signals to Nate and Ailee who's waving at us, and we wave back at them.

"Nate and Ailee said to me a few days ago, that they wanted another baby." I shake my head as I smile.

"I don't think so, I think it's their daddy who suggests that to them." I squint my eyes to Adam.

Adam shrugs, "Well, more or less, in some way."

I scoff, "You're unbelievable. I thought you said no more babies when you saw me lifelessly give birth to Nate and Ailee. What happened to that?"

Adam smile softly, "I thought differently, I want more since I've only got Sara as my one and only siblings. I want Nate and Ailee to have more siblings. Don't you want that too baby?"

I look at Adam's eyes as I smile and nodded, "Of course I want that too, baby."

Adam's eyes sparkle as he grins widely, "Seriously?? No backing away, okay?"

I laugh out loud and I bury my head in his chest, as he laughs while hugging me tightly. I pulled away as I suddenly remember and I gasp, "Oh no, I..I think we have to postpone our plan."

Adam wrinkle is eyebrows at me, "Why baby? Is there something wrong?"

"I had a check-up a few days ago, and the doctor said I should not strain myself.."

Adam cuts me off as he pulled away from me and inspect every inch and side of me, "Are you hurt? Why? What did the doctor say?"

I look at him silently while he looks at me worriedly, his voice cracks when he asks me "Baby... What's wrong? Are..are you sick?"

I pulled Adam to sit to the nearest bench, I pulled his hand and cupped it with mine as I take a breath, "I need you to know, whatever happens, I love you so much, I love Nate and Ailee with my life too. I don't think I can live without any of you guys, and I.." My voice cracks when I see tears form in Adam's eyes.

Adam shut his eyes and shake his head profusely, "No, I don't want to hear this."

"Hey.." I cupped his face with my hands, "Open your eyes, baby."

Adam slowly opens his eyes and his tears rolled down. I wiped his tears with my thumb as I smile, "This is the second time my pregnancy affects you."

"Huh?" Adam faces contorting to my words.

I smile softly and pulled his hand to my belly, "We have to postpone our plan because I already am pregnant."

His eyes widen and he put his other hand on his mouth, "Seriously?"

I nodded and he pulled me into a warm and tight hug, "I..I thought you're... I'm happy, baby... Too happy!"

I laugh when Adam stands up and brings me up along with him, "I'm having another baby!"

"They knew already.." I said when my family and friends are not reacting to Adam's words.

"What? How? Why?"

"Don't you remember we made a promise to tell them first for the second baby? And surprising you is their plan." I pointed to his friends that are now laughing and some of them are recording our moments of truth just now.

Adam shakes his head as he laughs, embarrassed of his sensitive side. He hugged me again and hide his face in the crook of my neck. A few seconds later he pulled away to look at me in the eye and he cupped my face.

"I love you, and will always love you till.." He looks at me lovingly

I put my hand on his mouth as I shake my head, "I love you too, always."

Adam leans in and we kiss each other lovingly until the twins come crashing us both, asking for a kiss. Both of us laugh and Adam picks them up in his arms.

"Mommy and Daddy love both of you, and also this little baby." I touch both of their noses with my finger making them laugh and put a hand on my belly.

Nate and Ailee look confused and look at their daddy for confirmation, they are too clever to know about this, I bet Adam must have told them a little bit about it and also by seeing their aunts conditions when they are pregnant.

"Real real?" Ailee said and Nate's eyes widen. Both of us nodded and both of them yells in joy, and again kisses us both. Adam put them down and they run to their cousins and friends to tell the good news.

"That surprised me, their reaction.." I look at Adam as he put his hand on my shoulder, hugging me sidely and he said, "Told you so.."

Nate and Ailee then run back to us and ask for us to bend down, we did as they ask and they both smile widely as they said before hugging us both, "We love you, mommy and daddy."

I look at Adam and he looked at me too, then he pulled me and Nate to him, making a big group hug.

"We love you too, always." Both Adam and I said in unison.
