Throwing up had to be the most vile, revolting thing ever. Especially when you crave things to eat you'll most likely end up puking up the next morning. Which for me was cookies but, even though now as I knelt in front of the toilet puking my guts out. I knew that I'd still want those same very cookies.

As soon as I felt like I was done I flushed the toilet and sat back against Landon's chest. Who was leaned up against the wall, his hand coming up with a small towel to wipe my mouth. Before he made sure any fly away hairs were tucked back and secured in the ponytail he did for me. I thought it was sweet when he did it, I couldn't focus on it in the moment but, now that I was my heart was melted. It wasn't the best yet it managed.

"Are you okay my love?" he questioned, I nodded my head feeling icky from the puke session, "You want me to draw you a bath?" he asked.

I shook my head, leaning more into his chest and closing my eyes. I felt so tired, after all it was around two in the morning. Landon's arms came around me, holding me against him, his knees on either side of me caging me in safely. He stroked my hair back into the messy ponytail several times to soothe me. The action only made me inevitably fall asleep.

"I love you." he whispered in my ear, I tried to say it back but, I was far too deep into the abyss of peaceful darkness.

When I woke up, I heard birds chirping in the distance and sunlight shining on my face. I groggily opened my eyes, squinting them when I was blinded by the sun. I moved around in bed feeling my body aching. My mind moving to the reason why I woke up, Landon. He was rubbing my arm and gently turning me over until we locked eyes.

He wore a small smile, "You should get up, I have a bath ready for you." he brushed some hair out of my eyes and kissed my forehead.

Before he turned to walk towards our closet, hearing his words made me want to shoot out of bed at the thought of a warm bath. Memories of earlier this morning were hitting me and I realized he must of put me to bed. I felt so bad to have woken him up and I remember apologizing but, he kept reassuring me that he didn't care. I sat up and tried to rub the sleep from my eyes. Then I lazily got out of bed, stumbling over to the bathroom.

When I seen myself in the mirror, I frowned,Mia commented, my frown deepened.

With that I started to strip from my clothes, leaving them on the tile floor. Before stepping into the already made bath. The water was so warm, instantly relieving the tension in my muscles. There was bubbles as well and that made me smile. I reached behind me to take my hair down from the messy ponytail.

I looked up when I heard Landon come in the bathroom holding my clothes. He smiled when he seen me, his eyes wondering over my body before back to my eyes. He set the clothes on the counter and made his way over to me, sitting on a little stool.

"Get in with me." I stated, really wanting him to enjoy this with me.

"I already took a shower baby." I frowned at his response, finally noticing how cleaned up he was and freshly dressed.

"Well take a bath now." I replied with a small laugh and he shook his head with a grin on his face.

He reached over to grasp my chin between his thumb and pointer finger. The pad of his thumb softly caressing my skin. Then gently moving to the side of my mouth to caress.

"We have the announcement today, I told Zach to make arrangements yesterday." he stated and I nodded my head closing my eyes as a feeling of contentment filled me, "When you get out you get dressed, I'll make us some breakfast." I nodded once again and his hand slipped away from my face.

When I opened my eyes he had already left and I grabbed the shampoo to start washing my hair. But, I felt so lazy and Mia was begging me to ask Landon to wash it for us.

Mia whined, I have no idea what happened to her, she used to be so strong willed.

"Landon." I called for him and within seconds he stepped into the bathroom.

"What is it?" he questioned, kneeling beside the tub, he looked really attractive.

He was dressed in a plain black button up with some of them undone, paired with dark blue jeans. And for shoes he wore his black combat boots that really pulled the whole look together. He looked so dominant and that made Mia stir happily in my head at the thought of him mating with us. His hand was cupping his fist in his hand and his hazel eyes bore into mine with concern. If he wasn't my mate and I didn't know him at all, his alpha energy would consume me.

"Will you wash my hair for me?" I asked, his lips quirked up into a smile until he was grinning.

"Of course." he replied, gently taking the shampoo bottle from my hands, "Turn your head for me love." I did as he said and felt him lather in the scented soap.

His fingers ran through my hair softly, getting all of it before he cupped the water and started to rinse my hair out. Then he did the same with conditioner and I relaxed at the feeling of his hands in my hair. After he was finished, I turned back around to meet his eyes that were darkened.

"Want me to wash your body for you?" he questioned, more so Jake questioned.

I felt my whole body surge with heat at the suggestive tone, "No I'm okay." I smiled and reached out of the tub to push at his shoulder, "Thank you though." he smirked and stood up, leaning down to kiss my head before officially leaving.

Once I had finished washing my body thoroughly, I got out and wrapped a towel around me to dry off. After I brushed my teeth, I sighed when the minty freshness hit my tongue. When I finished, I changed into the clothes Landon chose for me. Which was a nice black short summer dress with straps. He even picked me out my lace black undergarments which made me smile.

"You look so beautiful." I jumped with a laugh when he wrapped his arms around me, meeting my eyes in the mirror.

"Thank you." I whispered, he lightly kissed my bare shoulder before I turned around, "You look handsome today too." he smiled.

"You think?" he asked, looking down at himself and I laughed at how conceited he looked.

"Yes." I replied and he kissed my lips quickly before grabbing my hand and leading me into the room.

After I put my shoes on we were off to the ceremony grounds. As we approached there were already lots of pack members here. I even spotted Jacob and Genevieve with Dawn. Landon let me walk up the steps of the stage first, placing his hand on my lower back as he walked up behind me. Guards were stationed around and I placed my hand on my belly out of instinct.

"First I want to thank you all for coming, we have two announcements to make, one of which I'm sure you all know." Landon looked to me with a smile on his face, "So will start with that." he grabbed my hand in his giving it a kiss before speaking again, "Your Luna is pregnant with the future alpha of this pack." As he said that tons of cheers were released from the crowd.

I spotted Jacob and he wore such a soft smile, mouthing that he loves me. I smiled and I mouthed it back. Afterwards people lined up to gift the Luna a present for the pup as tradition. Not everyone gave a gift as that would be too many but, more so a gift per family. I felt so loved and grateful of every gift I got no matter how small or big.

"Thank you." I smiled at Eve's mother who gave me a nicely wrapped box.

Eve hugged me tightly and kissed my belly, I smiled inwardly cooing at how adorable she was. Mia was frowning inside wanting our pup already. Jacob and Genevieve were next. Dawn wore a pout on her lips as she looked up at me and I frowned, kneeling down beside her.

"What's wrong?" I asked, she kicked at the wooden flooring.

"You're my aut Lay, not hers." she pointed in the direction of where Eve just left with her mom to sit back in the crowd of people.

I smiled, poking her little stomach, "Exactly." I told her and the realization must of hit her because, she jumped up and down.

Before she threw her arms around my neck and I hugged her back with laughter. I then stood up with her in my arms meeting Jacobs happy green orbs.

"So Cars is having a mini cars." he stated and I nodded my head, "I'm happy for you." he moved to hug me, squishing Dawn in between us in the process.

"Hey." she muffled in my shoulder as Jacob pulled away laughing at Dawn's messy hair in her face from the hug.

He took her from me and Genevieve stepped forward to hand me another nicely wrapped gift, "I'm happy for you too and everything that you've accomplished, you seriously have come such a long way since the first time we met." she finished with watery eyes that made my own blur.

I pulled her into a hug and she hugged me tightly, rubbing my back. After she pulled away, I wiped some tears that fell and Jacob gave Dawn to Genevieve. Before he placed his palm against my stomach with a grin.

"She's right you know, you're such a strong person Layla and you're going to be an amazing mother." I smiled at his words and gave him another hug, his hold was tight and he kissed my head.

After all the gift giving and hugs were over with Landon finally made the announcement of the new pack house that will be built. He explained that the whole pack would be helping for baring witness to my abuse and not saying a word. He also explained that he would be helping as well for being clueless and not noticing before. I could feel how hurt he was about it through the mate bond. And after he finished he went over and gave me the longest hug.

"It's okay." I whispered, running my hand over the back of his head, caressing his brown hair.

He only dug his face more into my shoulder and I kissed the side of his head. I hate that he felt so guilty but, I was happy to know he wanted to hold himself accountable. But, I didn't blame him at all for what happened though. Yet it seemed it was inevitable that he'd blame himself. I just wanted him to know that even after everything;
