Chapter 3 Part 1: Love of Family

The word 'mother' have always crossed Siyang's mind, whenever she thinks about her dead mother, she wants to think of the loving smile of a mother but it never showed up, her mother died when she was just about a year old.

Thinking about how she was "accidentally" killed by her father and step-mother, it makes her think whether they had any involvement in her car accident.

Mother...

The mother that she met in this life makes her feel warm and loved. Loved by a mother. Cared by one. Not to mention a father and siblings, too. Feeling the concern and love from all of her family members. A love she never received but her grandparents.

Unclear as of how Siyang got here, she just know that the moment she stopped breathing and opened her eyes, she was here. The memories that she had gotten earlier on was still slightly unclear to her, nevertheless, she didn't bother trying to look through it either. All she knows is that they are very similar. They liked the same thing and have the same personality. The only difference is that she is now 15 years old, six years younger than her other self or body in this case.

When the flashback of memories stopped and Siyang slowly woke up. She still felt the warmth of her mother but when she opened her eyes, her mother was not beside me. She quickly sat up and turned her head from left to right to scan the room to find her mother. Her mother was no where to be found so she got out from the bed. The moment she put her feet on the floor. 'Bang!' she dropped on the floor and followed by 'ahhhh!' she screamed. Her scream was heard from outside the room.

Meanwhile, mother was telling her maid to prepare a bath for Yixin but when she heard a scream, her heart stopped and mother quickly rush inside to see her daughter has fallen with the blanket still wrapped around Yixin.

A small face like bunny peeked out from the blanket, just to make mother lip to curl up. Mother leaned her hand to pull her cute and adorable daughter.

"Mother" Yixin called with her face flushed pink.

"Yixin, you should be careful. You could get hurt." Her mother said leading Yixin to sit on the bed.

"But, but I didn't see mother in the room." Yixin pouted.

"Stop making that face. Come, get up. You need to take a bath." Mother said, not wanting to spoil Yixin.

"But mother, I don't have energy to walk. And I am hungry " Yixin told in sad tone.

"Okay. Mother will ask the maids to bring some snacks to let your energy come back." Mother said as she pinched both Yixin's cheeks, which made both Yixin's cheek to turn light pink.

"She really does know how to use her cute tricks on me." Her mother sighed to herself.

Mother asked some maid to bring some snacks for Yixin. Sometime later, snacks with tea was served. Yixin quickly ate her food and went to take her bath.

The bathroom was made out of stones. In the middle of the room, there was a large bathtub made of wood. Yixin took her clothes off and went in the water. The water was warm and was flower scented. She soaked in the bath for a while before coming out.

She wrapped herself in white and soft silk to absorb the water from her body. When she came out from the bathroom, there was already a maid waiting for her with a set of clothes with hair accessories. The maid helped Yixin with her clothes. The color of the hanfu she was wearing was a mix of light green and bright blue with blue poppy flowers embroidery. The cloth was soft and really comfortable to wear.

When the maid was about to to put the different types of hair accessories, Yixin ask her to put less hair accessories and let her hair flow down.

After Yixin had finished preparing, the maid led her to the family dinning quarters because it was already time for dinner.

On the way, Yixin observed her surrounding. The mansion was made out of wood, just like her 21st century mansion.

It was still around early summer so the garden was blooming with different types of flowers around the pavilion in the middle of the garden. It was really refreshing to see.

When they reached the dinning quarters, the maid slowly opened the door for Yixin. Yixin carefully walked inside and saw a large table with different types of dish. The smell of the dishes roamed around the room. It made Yixin's mouth to drool.

She snapped out from spacing out when she heard her mother's voice, followed by other peoples voice. Which were her brothers and their wifes. The whole family sat around the table. Yixin used the memory to find her chair, and it was between father and mother.

When she sat down, her first older brother smiled at Yixin. "Baby sister, would you like to see the stars with brother later?" First big brother asked with smile on his face.

"First older brother! What are you saying? baby sister will play with me." Third older brother yelled while pouting.

"No, she will not. She will read with me." Second older brother said in calm voice while smiling at Yixin.

"No she will not!" Then the three brothers started bantering each other for the attention of their younger sister.

While her big brothers was still quarreling, Yixin noticed that her big brothers were very handsome and manly. But when they are with her, they would be cute and funny.
