Yixin had said her final goodbyes to her family. Yixin was fascinated how the outside world looked so she peeked through the windows of the carriage. She couldn't help it, because it was her first time being outside ever since she came to this time line as well as from her memory, she never went outside.

When the eunuch saw how Yixin acted like a cute rabbit who was all the time caged, now exposed to the outside world. The eunuch told the place's name and the area ans what they sell, the famous restaurant, the different family names. Yixin's mood had lifted from what she learned from the eunuch.

The eunuch who couldn't get his eyes away from Yixin. He saw how polite and childlike she was. He never met Young Miss who is as polite as her, on top of that she's so beautiful. Her skin looked softer than a new borns baby's skin.

The carriage had stopped when it reached the big walls but then continued to move and it went inside from the big gate to the inside walls.

The carriage, once again stopped when it reached the palace. A guard has opened the carriage door to let Yixin out of the carriage.

When Yixin came out from the carriage all the guards and maids eyes were on her, but Yixin's eyes are on the big and beautiful palace in front of her. The architecture of the palace was so beautiful, that her eyes didn't leave the palace.

"Miss Lin... This maid will show the way..." The maid in her late thirties said as she bowed to Yixin. "Yes please..." Yixin replied to the maid. She learned this from her mother, on how to reply to other people.

The maid took many left and right. Yixin looked around her surroundings and when they went through the hall where there were many windows, she saw the big and beautiful pond and near the ponds was the garden, that contained different flowers that she has never seen before and the sunset was right above the mountains so the sky was a mixture of light yellow and red.

When Yixin saw the maid was far away she quickened her steps and was able to catch up with the maid. The maid had stopped in front of the big door with a Phoenix carved on it. The maid knocked the door and a woman's voice said 'come in'. The maid told Yixin to go in and she followed Yixin from behind.

Yixin knew that this room must be owned by the Empress so when she went inside she saw a woman wearing her bright red hanfu with golden flowers and a Phoenix embroidered on it. Her hair styled into different styles with many hair accessories. She was beautiful even in her early forties.

"This servent greets the Empress... " Yixin said as she bowed down to her knees. Her elegant behaviour was caught by the Empress' eyes. "Rise my child and come here... " The Empress commanded and patted the seat next to her.

"Yes Empress... " Yixin replied as she stood up and went to the seat next to the Empress. "My... my... you are so beautiful and own such good manners from such a young age... " Empress praised Yixin.

"Thank you... but Empress is more beautiful than Yixin and all the manners are all taught by Yixin's mother..." Yixin said feeling scared that she might say something unwanted. "Haha... it's alright don't be scared of me... from today on wards, you will call me mother, Alright? Think of me as your own mother... " Empress said as she gave tea to Yixin.

"Yes... Empress... umm mother..." When Yixin didn't call Empress 'mother'. Empress raised her eyebrow and when Yixin called her mother she gave a sweet smile. "Qi... take Yixin to the Moon Lake Wings. She will be living there from now on... and send some maids over to serve her... " Empress said and Yixin thanked her and left the Empress' camber.

Yixin followed the maid from before and thought 'So her name is Qi.' The sun had set down but it was still bright. So the surroundings were still visible. When Yixin got there the surroundings of the Moon Lake Wings were beautiful but it looks like it was not used for couple of months. When she went to her bed chamber. It was all dusty and there were some cobwebs around the corners.

"This maid will go for now. Miss Lin can look around as this maid will send some maid for miss Lin" the maid Qi left after she finished speaking. Yixin waited for a while but no one came so she curled her sleeves up and used whatever cloths there were to dust the table and chairs.

It had became quite a long time she cleaned her room all by herself, when she was in modern time she used to clean the whole house all by herself though there was a maid in her house. Yixin had seen the at there's a small stream that runs to the lake so she took what ever bucket she found and fetched some water there and cleaned the dusted tables with the wet cloths.

She dusted her bed which had no mattress and blankets or even a pillow. She had finished cleaning the bed room and she started to clean the living area. She had cleaned all the cobwebs and dusted each and every corner, the shelves, tables and some vases. She shifted some things and organized her bed room making it look clean.

Her bedroom had many outlets so the room can have a good amount of sunlight. Yixin took all the dirty curtains and covered that.
