Yixin had finished half of the living area when two maids came in with some things and foods.

The sun had set down and the stars were visible now and some cloud is seen outside. Yixin used some leftover oil to use as lighting.

"Miss Lin... What were you doing... This servant would have done it for you..." The shortest maid compared to the others spoke up.

"It's ok... I haven't cleaned for a while and having you all do everything around here will surely make me bored to death." Yixin told as she smiles.

The maids were all surprised to have seen Yixin acting like this, after all, most ladies would have scolded them for not doing it or any of their chores when told. The maids quickly gained all their wits and all went their separate ways to light up the darkroom. The room was now bright and clear. They were able to see things clearly.

As soon as they saw Yixin, all were stunned to how beautiful she was. They couldn't help but whispered it amongst themselves.

"Is there something on my face?" Yixin awkwardly touched her face.

"Miss Lin is so beautiful," the tallest maid said, embarrassing Yixin with the compliment.

"Umm... Can you help me clean this room... It's a bit dirty." Yixin said as she tried her best to make eye contact with them.

"Ah, we are sorry about the mess, Miss Lin. The Empress ordered Miss Lin to move to the Moon Lake Wing."

"Oh, I see. I can stay here instead." Yixin smiled.

The maidservants complied and started cleaning the room with Yixin insisting to help. Soon after, the mattresses and other necessities were delivered and were placed. Along with decorations and rugs were brought to liven up the dull room.

After the room was finished. the maids excused themselves and left to finish whatever chores they had left to do, leaving Yixin alone in the room. She sat down on the chair and sighed, feeling a bit lonely. Even though there are people around her, they are not her family. She missed them, she missed her father, mother, and hilarious brothers.

How her heart pains to the point where she does not feel complete. If only they were able to company her here.

"Miss Lin, this servant has brought you dinner. After you finish eating dinner, there will be a warm bath ready for you." The maidservant came out and curtsied, following her was the other maids carrying in the food. After they placed the food down on the table, Yixin thanked them before slowly walking to the side.

Yixin looked down at the food that was brought in and slightly drooled in her mouth. There were steamed buns, bird's nest soup, as well as well-cooked lobsters with spicy soup. Feeing eager to eat the delicious food in front of her, she picked up her chopsticks and dig in.

After Yixin finished her dinner and bath, she smiled to herself, feeling refreshed and clean. Yixin suddenly remembers that the two maidservants earlier names were Shi and Qin. She would have to put that in her mind.

As soon as Yixin laid down on the bed, ready for the night to end, tears fell down from her eyes nonstop. The lonely and sad feelings she has been trying to push down finally erupted.

"I miss you all so much..." She whispered to herself before slowly succumbing to sleep.
