I stare at her as she looks through the menu. She's so indecisive. She comes here every time and looks through the menu as if she isn't gonna end up buying the chicken burrito bowl. 

"Uh...I'm not sure what I want," she mumbles, looking at the menu. 

I keep looking at her as the wind blows her hair and her sweet fragrance fills the air. I smile at how focused she is on the menu. 

"What?" she asks as her eyes meet mine. Her face holding a confused look, I swear she looks so cute. 

"Nothing." She rolls her eyes and orders her food as well as mines. 

"So you're going to the ball tonight right?" I ask her and she nods. 

"You're going with Piper aren't you?" she asks and I look at her, her face holds a happy expression. 

"Unless you want to go with me..."I speak. 

"Shut up. You have a wife now, you don't need me." I throw the paper from the straw at her. 

"Hey! I need a mistress. And for your information, we're engaged." 

"Same shit!" she chuckles. 

"No, it's not." She rolls her eyes. 

I look at the people walking in and out of the restaurant. I see a girl in a sweatshirt and remember how no matter how hot it was, Sophia use to wear a sweatshirt, even in August. 

"Remember when you use to wear sweatshirts all the time." I chuckle, but she doesn't. 

"What?" I ask her and she shakes her head. 

"Nothing. Never bring that up again." she glares at me. 

"Why?" I ask, probably about to get slapped.

"It was so sad time. Now shut up and take me back to my office, I have a meeting soon."

I sigh. 

"Fine, let's go." we walk out of the restaurant, and an army of cameras are pointed towards us. 

"Mr. McKay, how's your father?"

"Are you and Piper's marriage arranged?" No, I willingly want to marry a bitchy model. 

"Sophia, are you and Trey Morgan back together." 

"No, we're not," she mumbles so politely. She's so fucking nice for what?

More questions are thrown at us and they crowd us, preventing us from getting to the car. These motherfuckers. 

I grab Sophia's hand and pull her towards me, as we walk through the crowded streets. 

"Are you two dating?" I wish brother. 

"No-" 

"Soph." Why does she even answer them?

I open the car door for her. 

"Axton, what's the next big move for McKay industries?" 

"Something good for the economy is all I can say." I walk over to the driver's seat, but as I get in, Sophia gets out. 

"Where are you going?" I yell

"There!" she yells smiling, I turn to see a lot of freaking teenage girls. I watch as she takes pictures with everyone and even signs a few bags. She loves all her fans and supporters. 

After what feels like hours, she walks back to the car. 

"I love my fans!" she squeals. 

I love you. Shut the fuck up asshole. 

"I know," I mumble. 

I start the car as she gazes out the window, without her seatbelt, I swear this woman is so careless. 

"Sophia, seatbelt," I say, making a right turn, but she pays no attention to me. 

"Hm?" she mumbles, still looking outside. I shake my head as I reach over, pulling the seatbelt across her, our faces, close to each other, I can feel her breath and fuck. I think I'm gonna kiss her.

I reach down to buckle the seatbelt, but her hand quickly stops me. 

"I can do it," she mutters, fuck, what would happen if I kiss her right now?

Keep it together asshole. 

Our eyes meet and my heart does a summersault. 

"Axton.." she mumbles. 

"The traffic light." Fuck I'm driving. 

"Shit," I mumble looking away from her. 

I clear my throat. Which causes her to look at me and burst out laughing. 

Her sweet laugh fills the car and I can't help but smile. 

"What?" I ask her smiling, 

"Remember-" she bursts out laughing before she can finish the sentence and I shake my head chuckling. 

"Remember when you-" she can't stop laughing. 

"Stop laughing." that only makes her laugh more. I turn to her and she looks at me, then she starts laughing, full-on laughing. 

"What's so funny?" 

"Stop looking at me! I'll laugh more!" she yells and I roll my eyes. 

She takes a deep breath. 

"Remember that time you sneaked out to go to a party and had Jace lay in your bed in case your mom came in. And when you came back, it was too late for him to hide under the bed so he jumped out the window!" she starts laughing and I join her. 

That was pretty funny. 

"Of course I remember! Jace fucking broke my nightstand." I chuckle. 

"Hey! You weren't supposed to go to the party!" 

"You weren't supposed to be born love." She gasps as I chuckle. 

"Take it back!" she hits my arm. 

"No," I say. 

"I'll open this door and jump out, take it back." 

"As if! You wouldn't." I chuckle. I find myself laughing so much around her. 

"Oh, yea?" Then she opens the fucking door. 

She opened the door. 

"Sophia Rivera close that fucking door!" I couldn't believe she just did that. 

"Take it back!" I look at her and she was smiling. 

"I take it back!" she quickly closes the door. 

"What the fuck?" 

" I know, I can't believe I did that too." 

"Crazy woman," I mumble.

"You make me crazy." she breathes out. 

"Oh, yeah?" I look at her.

"What else do I make you?" she takes another breath as if the car didn't have enough. 

"Nervous," she mumbles. 

"I make you nervous Soph?" 

"D- did I say nervous? I meant n-nauseous." she smiles as if she won an award. 

"Mhm, sure. If that makes you sleep at night." I smirk. 

Her office comes into view. 

"Well, lunch was fun! See you at the ball." she smiles at me. 

"Bye Soph." She gets out of the car, and I drive to one of my hotels outside the city. 

Getting out the car, I walk into the hotel. I walk up to the desk. 

"Can I help you?" A very, occupied on her phone, lady asks me. The one time I let my cousin choose employees. 

"Yes, can I have a room?" I ask. 

"Sorry sir, I'm on lunch in case you can't see. Please move along." Not today bitch. 

"Lisa!" My voice echoes throughout the lobby. Lisa comes running with files in her hands. 

"Axton!" she smiles at me, obviously not getting one back. 

A gasp makes me turn around, rude ass lady. 

"Axton, as in i- in McKay?" she asks, shaking. 

"You're fired," I tell her before turning back to Lisa. 

"But-" she begins. 

"Spare me the pleading." 

"Uh, you have these papers to sign," Lisa mentions to me 

I listen as she talks, but my eyes fall onto a man whose hands are wrapped around a young, lady. 

Too young for him that's for sure. But he wasn't just any man. 

"Lisa, who's Mr. Rivera here with?" I ask. 

"What? Oh, some young woman, they checked in a few days ago." She tells me, 

"What floor are they on? " I ask, hoping this isn't what I think it is. 

"Tenth, Axton why are you asking me all this?" Higher the floor, lower the chance of getting caught. 

"Show me the surveillance camera for that floor, delivery details, everything. Now." I order. 

She shows me and I watch as he wraps the woman around his arms and kisses her, in the middle of the fucking hallway. Fuck this is going to break Sophia. 

"Get me every detail about that woman." I point to the screen. 

"What's his delivery details?" I ask. 

"A lot of designer shoes, bags, purses. A gown and suit for tonight." He's going there tonight? With her? 

I quickly take my phone out and call Sophia. 

"Hey pretty boy." she answers, her voice makes me calm down. 

"Hey, is your dad going to the ball tonight?" 

"No, he told me everyone at home is skipping since he's leaving for wherever. But I'm still going." I remain quiet. 

"What's wrong Axton?" She asks. 

"Nothing, just need to talk to him about the wedding videographer." I lie. 

"Oh." there's a hint of sadness in her voice and it makes me smirk. 

"I'll see you tonight." 

"Bye," she says and I hang up.

He's cheating on Sophia's mom. I know it. This is gonna break her. She looks up to her parents so much.
