"Designer and model, Sophia Rivera spotted with engaged McKay, reporters gathered in front of River's building in time to see the two best friends walk to the lobby of her apartment building. Reporters and photographers were told to back away and give Sophia space, by Axton McKay. " I listen to the video Amyra sent me.
"You guys need to give her space, her family will speak when they are ready to." Axton's voice comes through the speaker.
I sigh taking the video off. Looking out through the glass from my office, I look at Axton's skyscraper office, I miss him.
I can't even count the number of times I thought about the ice-cream situation between last night till now.
"Sophia, we have an issue." Hayley walks into my office.
"What?" I ask her.
"There's a model saying our new line is made from dangerous material, it bruised her skin," she mumbles, confused.
"What? That's impossible, all of our summer lines are made from natural fabrics, safe for all skin types. Who's this model?" I asked pissed of because the line isn't out yet and all the PR packages were sent to close, trustworthy people.
"Uh, let me check," she says grabbing her phone.
This can't be happening, my line is dropping tomorrow, this is going to drop sales.
"Um." she clears her throat, gaining my attention.
"Who's the model?" I ask.
"Piper Fallon." I blink. Seriously?
"I didn't even send her the clothes, how the hell can she give feedback when she has no clothes from our line!?" I yell.
"It's obviously fake." Hayley mumbles.
"We're dropping that line tomorrow," I state, getting up from my desk.

"But the sales will be low."
"I'm gonna fix that," I mumble, grabbing my stuff I walk out my door to see the entire office in front the door.
"Mrs. Rivera, are we still launching the line tomorrow?" one of my employees asks. They look terrified, this hasn't really happened to us, we usually have good feedback, from those who actually received the clothing, not some fake rip-off.
"Guys, relax, we're gonna launch the line tomorrow, I just need a screenshot of the PR package list, the model that posted the fake information didn't receive the clothing it's obviously fake," I assure them, they nod.
"I'll have that to you in a few minutes," Hayley tells me.
"Have a nice lunch everyone and don't worry about this, I'll clear it up," I tell them as my phone rings.
"Yes, ma'am." I smile as I walk to the elevator, answering my phone.
"What the hell does Piper think she's doing?" Myra yells through the phone.
"I don't know, but I'm gonna clear it up, I just need to know where she is," I speak as the elevator takes me down the floors.
"Uh, Hello, Axton should know, his fiance is causing problems and unless she wants me to beat her with my slipper, she needs to fix it!"
"Alright, relax." I chuckle.
"I'll see you at Eleanor's birthday party tonight right?" Shit.
"Um-"
"You forgot didn't you." she sighs.
"I have got a dress for you, should be at your apartment by this afternoon."
"Thank you Myra I love you!" I literally squeal.
"I know, now bye." she hangs up.
I step out the elevator, but I'm immediately pulled back by one of my employees.

"There's a lot of paparazzi outside, you should call security." Hanah, one of my oldest employees tell me.
"Thank you Hanah, I will." I take my phone out, calling security.
As I wait for security, I take a look as the security guards try to get the reporters away from the doors.
I don't think I've seen this much paparazzi since I broke up with Trey.
My phone rings and I see mom's name.
"Hi mom,"
"Darling! What is all this poisonous material scandal about?" she asks and I really try not to roll my eyes.
"It's fake mom, I'm figuring it out." I sigh as my phone vibrates with messages.
"I knew this designer job wasn't for you, do you need help?" she says and I surely didn't expect that.
"No mom, I don't." I hang up before she can say anything else.
I started this business on my own, with no support from my immediate family, just my friends. Up till this day, my mom doesn't think it's right. She wanted me to be an actress, like her but I wasn't about to become the next Kimberly Rivera, that was my fear.
"Are you ready Mrs. Sophia?" I turn to see my security. Five of them, I never kept this much security.
"Five of you?" I ask.
"I suggested five, " I see my aunt walk in, I smile.
"Aunt Grace!" I squeal, like a little child. Couldn't help it, she's my favorite aunt. She helped me become the designer I am today.
"Hi, baby. All those reporters out there, you need more than one security guard. We'll talk later, go on." she tells me, and I nod, walking towards the door. The mid-day sun hits me and I feel recharged with the warmth. My happy moment was snatched as reporters attack me.
"Sophia, is your clothing really made with dangerous materials?"
"Is this the fall of Sophia Rivera Designs?" My eyes widen, Woah buddy, relax.
"What is your feedback on the comments made by Piper Fallon, who is also your best friend's fiance."
"Will you still be going to the party being held for Eleanor McKay?" With every step I take, a question is thrown at me, the heat isn't making this easier.
"Move out the way please!" My security guards try to over speak the reporters.
"Sophia, please speak on the matter."
"Are your parents getting divorced?"
My phone vibrates in my hand and I stop to look at the messages.
Axton: My office right now.
Where do you think I was going?
Hayley: Our Instagram just lost 20K followers, Facebook page lost 25K followers.
Imagine, if I dropped my phone, purse, and myself and I just sit here because everything is way too overwhelming.
"Mrs. River, come on." my security calls me. I quickly walk through the crowd, well I try to.
"We need to call the cops ma'am," he tells me and just blink.
"Huh?" I don't have words.
"The paparazzi are causing a lot of traffic, the cops can sort it out," he says and I feel bad for having to do such a thing.
I simply nod.
We walk up to the car and I literally jump in.
The cool air condition hitting skin, calming me down.
"Sophia, that is a lot of paparazzi. Is it true?" Marty asks and my brain isn't even grasping his words.
"What?" I ask.
"Are the clothing made with, dangerous fabrics?" he asks and I just sink into the seat.
"Just drive to McKay industries," I mutter. Taking in a deep breath.
