《I'm a fox?》Chapter 2

I turned and ran, straight towards my packs border. Then I realised my body was doing this on its own. Is this what it feels like when your wolf takes over?
I was so confused. Why does Alpha Robert want to kill me? Why were my parents so disappointed in my shift? Did I not do it right?
All these questions ran through my head. As I focused where I was going again I noticed I was about to cross the territory line. Alphas didn't like to leave their territory unnecessarily so this was my best chance to get away.
As I crossed the line I felt a strain on my connection to the pack. My alpha wasn't giving me permission to leave and by running away I was abandoning the pack. I let my wolf keep running until the connection broke and I was officially a rogue.
My wolf ran for about another hour before stopping by a lake and giving control back to me. I fell into a heap exhausted from running all this way.
I had no idea where we were.
We need to keep going. It's not safe here
I assumed the voice in my head was my wolf so I trusted her and continued to walk.
What's your name I asked her
I'm Jenny
I carried on walking for a while just thinking about what happened.
Why do they hate us I asked her
There was silence for a while before she finally answered
Because we aren't like them Charlotte. We are not a wolf
This confused me. Of course I was a wolf. My parents were wolves. I was from a pack of wolves. Heck I even shifted into a wolf!
No you didn't
She was annoying me now.
Just tell me what you mean or stop talking I snapped at her

You will see what I mean
And with that she went quiet. I huffed and continued walking. I watched my paws as I put one foot in front of another. They were a reddish colour. I wonder is the rest of me is this colour.
My body was exhausted and it was now really dark. I decided I needed to find somewhere to rest for a while.
I found a tree with a wide trunk. Without thinking I began digging at the trunk until I had made a slight hallow that I could fit my body into. I settled into it and noticed that the sides protected me from any harsh winds in the night. I guess living outside comes naturally after you shift.
I closed my eyes and let myself fall to sleep as my body began to relax.

How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.

Rejected At First Sight
"Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hit a wall. I took a step back and realized that it wasn't in fact a wall, but instead a very attractive male. I looked up at his head to see a very messy, but sexy, mop of black hair on top of his head. When I looked closer, I noticed that his hair was a very deep brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled downward to his eyes, where I found two deep, ocean blue eyes looking back at me. My gaze travelled farther down to his crooked nose, to which I assumed came from too many fights. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips, which were turned into a sneer. "You have got to be kidding me!" His pink lips said in a very offensive voice. My eyes turned questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. "Whatever, lets finish this. I, Ashton Carter, reject you, as my mate." He, or Ashton, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? On my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school, rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people at this school. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.
