We all got into Ariana's mustang and headed towards the mall.

"So Eva... You gunna tell us what's up? Or ...."

I looked up from my phone and gave Athena who was sitting in the passenger seat a confused looked.

"Huh?"

Athena rolled her eyes but turned her whole body towards me.

"Are you gunna say why you've been acting so... Weird lately?"

I didn't know what to say. Oh yea, hey guys not much has been happening just been black mailed, threatened, killed 17 kids, a old lady, and hey these are my last days with you?

Yea right.

"Look, I know. I know I've been every where with my attitude and I'm sorry. It's just with Braxton and the rejection thing. It's not easy."

The whole car was quiet now and Athena's eyes had softened.

"Oh Eva. We know it must be hard not being able to have a mate. But think of it this way, you can have alllll the one night stands you want! We're... We're stuck, forever."

I think she was trying to cheer me up but it wasn't helping. Although, I might be going through hell right now, not having Braxton as a mate still hurt.

"Yea because having someone who loves you unconditionally, who you can wake up to, who you can go to bed with, and who you can have family with must be so hard. Look, I know you're trying to help but stop. I don't want to talk about it anymore. "

I looked away from Athen and turned my head towards the window. I watched as the trees and buildings were passing by me like a blur.

Eventually Athena turned back around in her seat and we all just listened to the radio.

Maybe this was going to be harder than I thought.

About 20 minutes later we showed up at the mall and we all jumped out.

"Finally! You drive really slow Athena." Destiny said as she stretched her legs.

"I was being safe!" We all laughed and headed inside.

I wanted to break the little tension that was in the group so that we could all just have a good day.

"What color are you guys going to get?"

"I was thinking black, since it's Nate's favorite color. What about you guys?"

"Well Danny likes Green so I might just wear a green one. Athena?"

"Alex likes Red so I'll wear a red one! Eva?"

"Uhh... I was just think maybe a peach or beige color."

"Is that Braxton's favorite color?"

Ariana asked as we reached our first dress store. We all stopped outside before we entered.

"I don't really know. He hasn't told me."

"What has he told you?" I didn't bother waiting outside anymore so I went through the group and grabbed the front door.

I turned back around and smiled at them.

"Nothing. Are you guys coming?"

They all looked at each other and nodded their heads. I guess they finally got the hint not to ask me anything about Braxton. Good.

We got into the store and looked around at all the dresses.

Technically, this store is for prom dresses but it's not like there's going to be a store for "coronation for Luna's, Beta Female, & The third female"

So this is the closest we're going to get. Might as well make the most of it.

"So since this is about our Luna we are going to shop for you first!" Athena looked so happy to finally be shopping it was kinda funny.

"Oh cmon guys, this coronation is about the three of us being accepted into the pack. We should all just shop for each other."

"No way! This is mostly you! A pack cannot function without a Luna!" Destiny said.

"That's true it's the most important asset to a pack! So, let's get to it!" Athena said as she lead the way.

We followed Athena but even she looked lost. She finally stopped, looked to her left and then to her right.

"Athena, are you lost?" I asked but half laughed at her confused face.

"Uhhhh no?" But it was a question not an answer.

I saw one of the ladies who work here and stopped her.

"Excuse me?" She was a pretty tall chick. Brown eyes and brown straight hair.

"Yes can I help?" She had a really nice smile too.

"Yea, can you tell us where we could find a black ceremonial ball gown?"

She bit her lip and looked around the store until her eyes finally stopped at a certain part of the store.

"Over there. Most of the black are in the back of the store since most people think it's a dark color." She shrugged her shoulders but smiled down at me.

"Thanks." I smiled back and she left.

We went towards that way and sure enough there they were. All the black pretty dresses.

I'm not one for shopping so I sat on the chair and looked at the girls.

"Well you guys have fun. I'll sit here and guide you all." I smiled and they rolled their eyes.

"You have to help you know?" Athena said as she searched through the racks of black dresses.

"Mmm not really. She has you two, I'll just sit here and watch." I smiled at them and they just rolled their eyes again.

"You know, if you roll your eyes so many times in a day, they'll get stuck right? Then who's gunna love you?" I laughed at the faces they all made.

"The guys would still love us!" Destiny said with hands on her hips and lips pouted.

"Haha sureeeee they will, keep telling yourself that princess." I smirked as she huffed and went back to looking.

"At least we have someone to love us...." Athena said as she kept looking through the racks. But she stopped after realizing what she said.

Ouch. That hurt. But all I did was laugh and shrug my shoulders.

"You're right, my brothers are soooooo lucky." I said with a smile but deep down that kinda stung.

Athena looked at me like a deer would look at a car stuck in its head lights. I'm pretty sure her eyes grew about 2 sizes bigger.

"I didn't...."

But I cut her off.

"It's cool. Everything happens for a reason, let's hope I find a mate who's super sexy like Johnny Depp! Besides, I don't care anymore to tell you the truth." But I wasn't. I was lying.

Destiny and Ariana looked between us but decided not to speak on it.

"He is hot." Athena said as she went back to her search. Finally after what felt like forever they all had a dress for Ariana to try on.

"To the changing room!" Athena said as she grabbed the dressed she picked and walked off like a psycho who just screamed that in a store full of people.

Ariana's first choice was the one she picked. A plain black slim dress that showed off her back.

1-10 I give it a 7. It was nice but she could do better.

"Ehhh."

"Not feeling it."

"To plain."

She undressed and tried on Athena's choice. A long sleeved laced black dress, that showed her back but stopped at the end of her butt.

"Too short."

"I like the top, but the bottom.. Not so much."

"You look like a Gogo dancer." That last one was me.

Everyone laughed and she changed. Finally, it was the dress Destiny picked out.

It was long, had a silver neckline, no sleeve, heart shaped dress and it was beautiful.

"Yes! Omg yes!"

"Totally you!"

"Wow, Ari you look beautiful."

"You guys really think so?!" She did a spin in her dress and we all whistled. She really did look pretty!

She got undressed and grabbed the dress she liked and left the changing rooms.

"Now, we shop for our beta female!" Athena said as she grabbed onto Destiny's arm.

So we did exactly what we did with Ariana. Everyone looked and I sat in the chair and waited.

"How's everything going? Are you guys ok? Do you need me to go get you guys? How's Ariana?"

Nate just kept throwing question after question and it was so cute yet annoying of him.

"Alex and Danny want to know how their mates are doing though."

Really? They could've asked them themselves.

"Because Eva! We have to let them know we trust them. And that we can give them space and stuff. Just, watch out for our mates. Ok?"

With that Nate backed off and I could feel him leave my brain. I looked up and all the girls were looking at me with crossed arms and straight faces. Busted.

"It was them, wasn't it?"

Play it cool, Eva.

"Who was what?"

"Don't play dumb Eva. It was Nate or Danny, or Alex asking if we were ok huh?"

Athena pointed an accusing finger at me and I just smiled.

"Sorry princess, it was my dad. He was asking me about my visit to the library I guess I left a book or two on the floor." I shrugged but they kept staring so o just smiled.

"Mmm is she lying?" Athena asked Destiny.

"I don't know.... Ariana?"

We all looked towards Ariana who looked at me. She tilted her head to the side exposing her neck. That's when I saw it.

"WHAT IS THAT!?" I screamed so loud, that people in the store were looking at me. I smiled sheepishly at them but went towards Ariana.

"What's what?" She asked as she covered her neck.

"Ohhhh now look who's playing dumb. Is that? Did Nate?"

"Mark me? Yes." She moved her hair and I saw two wolves howling at the moon. It had "N.E." At the bottom of what looked like to be a tattoo but was really a marking.

I traced my hand over the marking and I was kinda jealous but mostly amazed. I knew a marking was beautiful but this? This is just amazing.

"Did it... Did it hurt?" I whispered it but I knew she heard me.

"Kinda. But it's over within 5 seconds and its replaced with pleasure." I took my fingers off her mark and smiled at her.

"Congrats Ari." She hugged me and for some reason I wanted to cry. Maybe because I knew I'll never get to experience something like that.

"Destiny and Athena have one too." I backed out of the hug and looked at the two girls.

"Really?" They both nodded their head but looked guilty and happy at the same time.

"Why didn't you guys tell me?" I was kinda hurt that they wouldn't tell me something so important.

"We didn't want to rub it in your face or anything so we thought we would wait till you figured it out." I smiled at them and hugged them too.

"I'm happy. For all three of you! Next time tell me! Haha"

"Deal." We broke up the group hug and went to looked for the girls dresses. After about two hours Destiny and Athena found their dresses.

"Guys... I'm hungry! Can we go eat and then get your dress Eva?" Athena said as she looked at me with puppy dog eyes.... Traitor.

"Seriously? No fair with the eyes!" After a couple of seconds I finally gave in.

"Fineeeeee lets eat!" They all cheered and headed for the pizza place in the mall.

But something felt.... Off..

I know it's been awhile but better late than never right!? Haha hoped you all enjoyed.... I'm not to happy with how this chapter turned out to be honest. I had another chapter written but it got deleted so I had to start over. BUT enjoy Vote & Comment! 💕.
