Morgan just stood there confused in the middle of their living room. Yes, their living room, Nicolas finally got the guts to ask Morgan to move in with him right after college. Of course, he asked her how he would normally ask her for anything, by texting her and she didn't mind the lack of romantic mood. No matter how much of a sucker for romantics Morgan is, she didn't like to experience them in real life, it's so cringy and awkward, she always thought. and he- like the good boyfriend he is- knew that.

And so, after a lot of searching they have settled on a small apartment just high enough to overlook the city. Don't get the wrong idea, with Nicolas inheriting the family business and Morgan being his secretary, they're both practically millionaires and lived a more than fortunate life with comfort but they just never seemed to see the need for buying mansions or huge houses when there are only two people living in it. So they both decided to stick with their cozy small NY apartment for now.

It was a Saturday night, Morgan was just tidying the couch after binge-watching all the marvel movies she could possibly think of by herself while Nicolas was in their room watching some chick flicks when she got the text. She decided to go to Nicolas himself to find out what he meant by 'right now'.

To her dismay, she found no Nicolas in their room but she did find the room sprinkled with rose petals and a note on the bed.

So I know you might be so confused right now but just be patient oke? Before anything else happens I want to thank you. These past few years together were the best years of my life.

Remember, I will always love you forever and ever and ever and I know you know that but I'm tired of being your boyfriend.

Her heart clenched as she played different scenarios in her mind, does this dumbass thinks he could break up with me?

Her breath hitched and the question. Be his... forever? Then a smile made it's way to her face, the thought of her being his and him being her's forever made her smile wider. Of course, the answer would be yes, always. And with that Morgan turned around to find HER Nico boy but before she could do anything she burst into tears at the sight in front of her.

He was on one knee with offering her a simple yet beautiful ring.

Morgan open her mouth to say yes, she tried but the ever-flowing tears stopped her, the clenching of her heart stopped her, her overflowing happiness stopped her and all she could do was nod and nothing more as the thought of getting married to him made her so happy.

Nonetheless it didn't stop Nicolas from grinning from ear to ear. He slid the ring slowly on her finger cherishing the moment. He stood up and spun her around until they both felt equivalent to being drunk. His lips crashed into his as they passionately kiss. Morgan pulled back as she wiped away her tears, "Damn that was so cheesy."

"I know, thought you might puke midway from all the cheesy set up," Nicolas chuckled as he gently placed his hands on her hips.

She inspected the ring before giving him a nod of approval, "not bad, not bad."

In that moment, Morgan knew that her soon-to-be-husband's pride and ego inflated a thousand times.

"Too bad, you're stuck with me forever. Can't wait to make all your fans cry."

He smiled in content not knowing how to react to her comment, "I love you, you fucking sadist."

"Hey, I'm not a sadist," Morgan pouted.

"I love you too, you moron."
