《A Sterling Silver Love》his story

yet another stack of files, his mind struggling to stay focused on his paperwork. With a grunt he stood up, ready to take his mind off of work. The joint in between fingers was brought to his lips as he took a drag and stepped into the private elevator. It wasn't enough to get him as high as a mundane, but he liked the small buzz he got—even if it was only for just a few seconds. His phone pressed to his ear, ringing only twice before she picked up.
"Hello?" Her voice was quiet, a little breathless but it brought a smile to his nonetheless.
"Hey, Sweetheart." His black Lamborghini beeped as he slid into the driver's seat. "Give me on second," switching from ear to hands free. "What are you up to?"
"Oh you know," she chuckled. "Just your typical Queen activities; drinking tea and spending money on lavish parties and costumes." He laughed, knowing that she was joking but even if she wasn't he wouldn't care. "I finished my coronation planning," she said excitedly and Draco could practically see her jumping up and down.
"Stop jumping, Sweetheart, it's not good for the babies." He laughed again when he heard her curse him out, "I owe you one hell of a whipping." Whatever she was holding, fell with a loud clang! and Draco laughed. "I should be home soon," his fingers drumming against the steering wheel of his car as he stopped at the stop light. His gaze wandered, looking around at his surroundings. "Hey, Sweetheart?" He asked when he realized the call had gotten silent.
"Yes, love?"
Love.
His heart fluttered like butterfly wings at the term of endearment. "I'm passing a Starbucks, do you want anything?"
"Ohh!" He heard feet pounding on the floor and then cabinets opening and closing. "Can you buy some more coffee beans and syrup; vanilla and caramel?"
"Of course, Sweetheart. Do you want anything else?"
"Um," she paused. "Yeah, a venti cold brew with vanilla syrup and cream, no ice. Thanks baby."
"Have you had any other caffeine today?"
"No," she promised. "Just vanilla tea."
"Alright, I love you," he pulled smoothly into an open spot, pulling the parking brake.
"I love you too. Get home safely," and like that the call ended.
"I will," he muttered knowing she couldn't hear him. His long legs landed on the concrete, his shoes clicking against the gray walkway. The coffee shop was bustling with people, mostly teenagers studying and hanging out after their school day had ended. His eyes connected with a group of girls, who looked to be around Aida's age.
Most of them stared—eyes wide and jaws on the table—however, there was one who had a different approach. Her lips smacking as she chewed on her bubble gum, a finger twirling around a piece of hair, and blinking flirtatiously as her eyes trailed down his body. When she looked at his face again, her shoulders slumped. He wasn't looking at her anymore, he was looking above her, his eyes distant and phone pressed to his ears.

"Hey, Sweetheart," from the bottom of his gaze, he saw the bubble gum girl's face fall even deeper into a scowl. "They have reusable cups too, do you want one?"
She couldn't hear what the girl on the other side of the call had said, but she predicted it was a yes since he picked up a black metal cup and straw.
"Okay, I'll be home as fast as I can." His steely blue eyes turned back to the barista, a bored tone as he placed his order. He was never one to linger around, so the moment he got his drinks he was in the car already speeding home. Draco barely had time to drop his briefcase and other bags when a mop of honey colored hair attacked him. Arms running tightly around his body. His laugh was deep and throaty, yet full of love. "Sweetheart," his chin dipped as he peered down to look at her. She wore a long deep purple cow neck silk dress that did wonders on her body. He didn't have to look too far down to see her, so he assumed she was wearing heels.
Aida's heart fluttered with joy as she kissed him tenderly. "Draco," she hummed, taking his hand in hers and walking into the kitchen. It was quiet, no maids and just their three most important Royal Guards. "We need to talk." He froze for a moment and then quickly regained his composure.
What if she's leaving? The list of 'what ifs' went on and on for the King. Ice cubes fell into her glass before filling it with the drink. "Come," she guided them outside. The terrace was decorated with an array of foods. A soft melody of a song vibrated in the back of her throat while she placed different foods on her plate. "Sit," she smiled, gesturing to the open chair across from her.
"What's this about," he questioned, unsure if he liked the way she was acting.
"It's about you."
He raised an eyebrow.
"The night I shifted, I met someone—your mother, to be exact, and she shared your story with me."
"My story?"
"Yes, Draco, you're story. You are the first born child of your mother and father."
He rolled his eyes, as if he didn't already know this.
"No, Draco I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Your parents had you when they first met centuries ago."
"I-What?"
"On your 25th birthday, you would die and come back until you found your mate. The only reason you didn't die this year is because I learned the truth, I got my wolf, and then moved here. We didn't cross paths until a few nights before the ball, but I was still here on packlands and that was enough for the curse to end."
There was a brief moment of silence and then laughter, hysterical laughter.
Aida wasn't sure how she expected him to take the news, but laughing definitely wasn't one of them. She frowned, hurt washing through her body. "Draco," her voice trailed off.

His eyes were hard, cold almost, but when he saw her crestfallen expression they softened.
Jesus, she isn't joking. "Celeste," he shook his head, refusing to believe what she just said. "Even if it was true, why would my mother tell you and not me?"
"She hoped that you'd take it better from me.
He nodded, his mind still processing what she had just shared with him.
"Your parents will be flying in tonight, they want to help with the move."
The once quiet palace was now bustling with maids, cooks, and guards. The Moon Goddess was coming, accompanied by her mate, Orion.
Draco sat slumped in his office chair, his back to the door and his eyes on the forest. The moon was high tonight, its silver rays casting long beams across pack grounds. He wanted to refuse everything his Queen had said to him, but for some reason, it just made sense. A flicker of movement caught his eye, his mother was here. He jumped slightly at the sound of a knock, his gaze pulling away from the Moon Goddess and towards the door. "Come in," his voice came out lower than he had expected, more powerful. Silver hues staring at the door as it creaked open, trying to figure out who was on the other side.
"Baby, they're here." Her voice was soft, seductive almost, causing an involuntary shiver to go down his spine.
Draco nodded as he rose to a stand. One hand remaining in his pocket—fiddling with his joint—while the other clutched hers tightly. "I love you," she squeezed his hand, feeling his uneasiness. His shoulders relaxed at her words. Aida sent him one last fleeting smile and then broke off to go and meet with his mother.
"Celeste, how did he take it?" Selene asked gently, the palm of her hand on her heart while her finger tips rested on her collarbone.
"He laughed at me at first, after that I'm not really sure. He locked himself away in the study until two minutes ago."
Selene gasped and covered her mouth. "Maybe we shouldn't have told him?"
"No, no," the Queen shook her head. "I think it's just a lot to take in, dying and coming back over and over with no memory of it."
The Moon Goddess nodded. "How are you doing, Dear?" Selene held out her elbow, waiting for Selene to hook it through her own.
"I'm alright," Aida shrugged. "This pregnancy is starting to take more of a toll on my body than it was two months ago."
"How's my son been treating you?"
"Like I'm a piece of fucking glass," she swore.
Selene laughed. "His father was the same way throughout all of my pregnancies." Dragging her arm away from Aida's, Selene straightened her back and stood in front of her son. "Draco, I hear you laughed at what your Queen told you."
The King flinched and nodded slowly, his eyes trained on the ground. "Yes, Mother."
"Did you apologize to her?"
Draco's head jerked up, his eyes went wide with fear, and then he dropped his head to the ground again. "No, Mother."
"Why didn't you apologize to her?"
Draco shrugged.
"Shrugging is not a verbal answer."
"Sorry, Mother."
The Moon Goddess huffed and tapped her foot, waiting for her son's proper apology.
"I'm sorry, Sweetheart," he muttered. "I didn't mean to laugh at you, I just didn't believe you."
Aida hummed, but said nothing more to him. "Hi Mr. Rivers, how are you?"
Orion laughed, his blue eyes twinkling. "I've told you a million times to not call me that Celeste."
"Sorry old man," she grinned. "Let's eat, my boys are hungry."
Aida moaned in her sleep, her hips wiggling around the bed slightly. She jerked awake when something slipped inside of her and then she moaned again when she saw Draco.
"Oh good," he smiled. "You're awake." His hips jerked forward, hard enough for the bed to bang loudly against the wall. "Here's what's going to happen, I'm going to treat you like the Whore you are and you're not going to cum. Do you understand me?"
"Yes Master Rivers."
"Good, this is part of your punishments—you'll get your caning later."
A moan slipped out of her mouth, Aida loved her caning. She loved when he inflicted the pain, but what she loved most was the way he cared for her afterwards. "Master," she cried when she felt his hand circling her nub.
"What did I say?" His grunts were loud as he slammed harder into her.
"N-no cumming." At this point, Aida was almost weeping, the pleasure was too much but she knew not to disappointment her Master.
"That's it, Whore, let your Master fill your tight pussy." Draco groaned, his head falling back as he shot his seed inside her. "Did you cum?"
Aida shook her head and then corrected herself, "no Master."
He grinned, "good girl." Scooping her up in his arms, Draco walked the two of them to the bathroom. The water was warm when he stepped in, and a part of him worried it would be too hot. "Is it too hot?"
She shook her head against his chest. "It's perfect, you're perfect." Their hands linked over her stomach, feeling the kicks and punches from their sons. "We need to think about names."
"We should have a Greek theme if we're going to be living in Greece."
"Okay," she whispered into his neck. "What are we going to do about the war, Draco? We're leaving for good in three days."
"I know, Sweetheart, but I need you to not stress about these things okay? It's not good for you or the babies." He sighed and brought her even closer. "There's something else we need to talk about."
"What is it," she exhaled, loving the feeling of his fingers dancing on her stomach.
"It's about Kyle Lines."
