I woke up to a cold breeze running over my body.

I felt myself being held tightly, strong arms around my waist.

I opened my eyes and saw Landon's bright silver eyes strained towards where he was walking.

Feeling relieved it was him I closed my eyes again and snuggled into his chest.

It was still dark outside, I didn't even realise I fell asleep. 

I heard the car door open as he carefully put me in the passenger seat, along with placing the seatbelt over me.

He shut the door and walked over to his side. 

He got in, started the car and before he drove off he turned the heat on. 

Unaware of me watching him he just continued driving, leaning back in his seat as he propped his elbow up onto the window cill and ran a hand through his hair as the other hand was steering the car. 

Swerving through the cars, he takes a glance at me and then smirks when he sees that I'm awake. 

We sit in comfortable silence as the soft sound of the radio plays and the roar of the car flows through our ears. 

"That was the first time I've slept in weeks." His deep voice says breaking the silence.

My eyes widen in shock. 

"What? how come?" I ask him in shock while turning my head to him. 

I couldn't imagine not sleeping for even a day.

"Work. Never really get the time to sleep." He says blankly. 

"Well, you're always welcome to come to sleep with me if it helps," I say but then close my eyes shut at how weird that sounded. 

Good job Layla, you fucking weirdo.

The sound of his deep chuckle goes through my ears. 

"Thanks for the suggestion." He says with a smirk and turns his head to wink at me before making a right turn.

I just turn my head towards the window to hide my blush.

After a while, we make it back to his place. 

We thankfully don't have school tomorrow due to some teacher/staff development day. 

I glance at the clock on the screen to see what time it was and it was nearly 2am. 

I watch as Landon parks in his very big driveway. 

He gets out opening the door for me and he holds his hand out for me to take.

I take it and get out of the car.

He shuts the car off and we walk into his mansion hand in hand.

A guard opens the door for us as we walk inside. 

"You know the place we went to tonight, that could be our spot," I say suggesting to him as we walk up to an elevator. 

He turns his head to me and lifts an eyebrow at me keeping his face blank while he pushes the button.

I just smile up at him and continue,

"Like it could be our special spot, you know what I mean?" I say to him as the door to the elevator doors open.

We get in and he presses a button and the doors close.

He turns his head to me and a small smile plays on his lips as he licks them and nods.

I just smile brighter seeing him smile. 

God, I'm never going to get used to seeing that.

He wraps an arm around my waist as he presses his lips to the top of my head.

The elevator doors open and I recognise the hall and see the door to his room. 

He leads the way as I follow behind him.

He then opens the bedroom door and waits for me to walk in first, I walk in and go to the bed sitting down on it. 

He makes his way into the room after me and closes the door. 

Landon goes over to the bedside table and hands me a remote. 

"You can turn it on if you want." He says blankly motioning to the Tv that's placed on the wall. 

I just smile in appreciation and turn it on and going straight to Netflix. 

I lie down on the bed and get into the covers, as Landon stands near his dresser typing away on his phone. 

I scroll through Netflix and see something that makes me burst out laughing.

'The Hype House, coming to Netflix soon !!'

Landon snaps his head to me with his face emotionless.

I just sent him a sympathetic smile and keep scrolling until I pick a show called 'Lucifer'. 

Violet keeps telling me to watch it so she'll be proud of me.

I press play on the first episode and turn my head to Landon to see him still typing furiously on his phone as his eyebrows are arched, his jaw clenched, I could say he was pretty pissed.

He finally put his phone down and made his way over to the bed.

I scooted over as he slid into the blankets with me. 

He moved over so now our thighs were touching and he slid his arm around my waist pulling me to his chest.

I blushed and adjusted myself as I placed my head on his chest.

I continue watching the show as he does the same. 

Though halfway through can feel him start playing with my hair, wrapping his finger around my curls. 

I smiled inwardly at this small action of his.

"Can I ask you something, Landon?" I ask him softly as I turned my head slightly to face him.

He looked down at me as his hair fell into his eyes. 

He nodded.

"Did you ever feel like you were missing out on your childhood?"

I felt his body tense slightly but then relax. 

"Not really, as a kid, I was taught to feel nothing."

"My father made sure my emotions were default to feeling nothing." He says emotionlessly as he continues to twirl my hair.

I look at him in shock and sadness. 

His whole life was ruined because of this.

"But, that's somewhat changed now," he says looking down at me with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Only for you." He finishes as he whispers the last part to me while keeping his eyes locked on mine. 

My heartbeat beats faster at his words.

I looked at his lips, silently begging for them to be on mine.

As I stared at them his tongue came out and darted over his bottom lip.

I looked back up at him to see him looking at me.

I leaned in slowly and pressed my lips against his. 

His lips slowly moved against mine. 

I could feel the heat and sparks course through my body as he moved his soft lips.
