I could feel the cool breeze caressing my smooth light pale skin. And my auburn hair were blowing in the direction of wind.

I am an 18 year old , I live in the City of Angels, Los Angeles and have completed my graduation. My dad said that ,I did not have to job because, I will be joining him in our family business as I am my parents only child.

We are very rich as my dad is the CEO of Lawrence corporations. One of the most powerful company in the world today.

My dad has always been strict but I know he loves me too. My mom was always very caring since my childhood ,she often told me many interesting stories about princesses and prince and their happily ever after. And so I am waiting for mine.

Right now, I am sitting near the window sill watching the sun set with my emerald orbs. It always calms me down.

Whenever I feel upset, I just look up at the sky especially at night. When the entire sky is illuminated with millions of stars. It always made by dejected mood, happy again.

My phone beeps. And I look at the screen there is a notification from my best friend, Cassie.

We are best friends since school. She has always been cheerful and fun loving.

I opened the chat and saw-

"I will be coming tonight for a sleepover. And I want to tell u about a guy whom I met today. Gosh! He is so handsome!!"

I smile at her excitement and texted back.

Suddenly ,I heard my name being called. It's my mom voice so I get up and went downstairs. She was sitting on the couch and looked nervous. She has cheerful personality. And if she is nervous then there is something serious.

I got near her. And spoke "Mom."

She looked at me and spoke," Aveliene honey, your dad wants to talk to you about something important and he is waiting in his study."

If dad wants to talk about something then its really very important.

I went to his study with my mom following behind me.

I knocked at his door and entered after hearing "Come in" from my dad.

He was sitting on his study table looking at some papers. I went near him. He looked up and gestured me to sit and I did.

Then he spoke.

"Aveliene as you have completed your studies, I want you to know about our family business." I nodded for him to continue.

"As you know that the business has passed on to generations to generations and now its your turn to get familiar with it." I nodded again as my curiosity was increasing.

"As you know I am the CEO of Lawrence corporations."He pauses and then spoke again ,"but we are also the part of the Mafia of Los Angeles." And that word caught my attention We are related to mafia but not a common one but the most popular and dangerous mafia group of Los Angeles. I was shocked would be an understatement.

I was aware of the mafia but not that I was also a part of it. I don't know what to say so I just nodded him to continue.

"We are a part of the mafia since decades. We have always been powerful and running the company was just to show the world, but mafia is our main business which we got in inheritance. But now I want your help." One of the most feared mafia's gangleader ie,my dad wants my help?

"There is this another mafia group which is more powerful than us. Their gangleader and businessman wanted to expand their empire in both underworld and business world so they have already opened their business company here and will make it the main headquarters .

At first when they came here from New York I thought they want to fight us but then I met their gangleader and the CEO of Rodriguez corporations, Mr Daniel Rodriguez, who told me that he wants to merge our mafia groups so that we can become undefeatable and remain powerful, to which I also agreed."

Okaaay, but I still not got what I could do in this. Which my dad saw my confused face and spoke. But as he spoke the next words. I wish I haven't heard them.

"You have to marry the future gangleader and CEO,his only son, Vaughn Rodriguez."
