I wonder how fast time got passes. It's finally weekend and my engagement day. Today I will be in a commitment with the person who I barely knows, even meet. I don't know how should I feel about it but I am really nervous and a little curious to meet him.

Right now ,I am standing infront of the mirror while Isabel is doing my make up and hair. She is a stylist and my mom sent her to get me ready for the ceremony.

"Miss Aveliene your dress is in the trial room." I nodded and went inside to change.

After wearing the dress I came outside. And I asked Isabel how am I looking she turned towards me and her eyes widen.

"Miss Aveliene you are truly looking like model. I am sure you will be the center of attraction in this party." I thanked her and went to check myself in the mirror.

I was wearing a black dress with slight front open. With a slight net fabric touch near my neck. It was hugging my body perfectly showing some of my curve.

And the smokey eyeshadow look and my wavy auburn hairs were making me more attractive.

Overall I was looking beautiful.

I wore my black stilettos and diamond bracelet. And pick my silver clutch. Now I was done. I heard my room's door opened and came my mom wearing a teal colored gown. She came and checked me and then a wide grin spread on her face.

"Aveliene honey, your dad is waiting downstairs. " She said.

"Yeah mom, I am ready."I replied with a smile.

Then we both went downstairs and I saw my dad talking with someone on the phone. He was wearing a black suit with a black tie. As he heard our footsteps,he turned to approach us.

"Aveliene my daughter you are truly a natural beauty just like your mother." He said with a proud smile.I thanked him and hugged him and he hugged me back. I truly like these father and daughter moments but they hardly happens.

Then we went outside of the mansion or I say my home to the white limousine parked at the entrance, which will take us to the venue.

As soon as we reached there. Our guard opens the door for us and as soon as I got out lots of flashes and voices broke out. There were lots of parapazzi. And they all were asking questions to us.

"Whats the reason for this party?"some shouted from the crowd as we reached the entrance.

I just smiled and kept on moving. I really don't like being a center of attention but as a daughter of a powerful businessman. It's next to impossible.

And it will become more often when the announcement of engagement will happen. As the two most powerful families are getting together.It will really become a breaking news for the entire world.

"What's the reason for this event Mr. Lawrence?" A reporter asked my dad. It was going to be a surprise announcement so only a very few important people know about this engagement.

"Sooner you all will come to know", my dad replied calmly and then we were escorted by the guards to the entrance.

As soon as we entered ,I saw a huge hall with so many lightings and flowers. Everything was speaking of luxury and grandeur.

There were so many people all from high society and were elites.

From celebrities, businessmen, politicians and probably from mafia also.

My dad greeted me to all the guests. And everybody spoke and appreciated me for my beauty and how my dad is lucky to have a daughter like me.

It was really becoming tiring to meet so many people.

So I take leave from my parents to rest for a while. As I was going I saw Cassie entering wearing a pink colored dress stopping at her knees while her beige hairs were straightened. But one thing which took my notice was she was not alone but with a good-looking guy dressed in a tux with jet black hair was also with her.

I approached her and her eyes got filled with excitement and a huge grin appear on her face.

"Gosh!! Ave you are looking so gorgeous ,girl." She hugged me while calling me with my nick name and I smiled.

"You are looking good to Cass" I replied her by calling her nick name.

"By the way whose this guy?" I asked while gesturing at the guy standing next to her.

She giggled and replied," He is Aaron that guy which I told you about".

I nodded while remembering. And turned to Aaron.

"Hi, I am Aveliene, Cassie's best friend." I politely speak.

"So you are The Aveliene, daughter of the host Richard Lawrence. Of whom Cassie always speaks about, no doubt you are a beauty." He says while smiling , which I returned back.

"So enjoy the party. I will see you both later." I said politely and return back to my parents seeing them talking with a couple of their age.

The man was dressed in a Grey tux and the lady was wearing a red gown. Power was radiating from them. And then it struck me they are Mr. And Mrs. Rodriguez.
