《Destined for Revenge》Epilogue

Aveliene's pov:
Two years later...
I am currently standing outside the balcony watching the view of the entire New York city.
We have shifted here as Vaughn wanted to make a fresh start and so he also shifted the headquarters of his business empire from Los Angeles back to New York. His home city. Our parents supported our decision too.
I sighed. Looking outside the bustling city and tall skyscrapers. Above which is the dark pitch black sky illuminating with stars.
My phone beeps. I opened and saw message from Cassie and others. These past two years many things have changed.
Cassie and Aaron had broke up. But it was their own decision. So Cassie was okay with it.
While Emma and Liam married last year and now they are waiting for their first child. I am happy for her.
And after their longtime dating relationship ,Stacey and Alex are finally going to marry next month. We all are excited for them.
I sighed and opened Cassie's message first.
'Happy wedding anniversary, Ave.'
A soft smile touches my lips as I texted a 'thanks' to her. Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary. It was already midnight. I don't know what Vaughn has planned for it. Although last year he took me to a date to my favorite restaurant, I don't know what he has planned this time.
I sighed.
I still can remember how I was furious and refused to marry him when my dad told me about it. But now I am glad I did. Because despite the difficulties, our relationship grew stronger and with that our love too.
A noise brought me out from my thoughts.
The door opened, and Vaughn came inside, he was dressed up in a white shirt and black pants. Looking as handsome as ever. He was talking on the phone with someone.
"Yeah we will come." He said and ended the call. He then looked at me and a smile touches his lips. He then stood behind me and hugged my waist. His head rests on my shoulder. I could feel the tingles running through my skin.
"Who was that?" I asked while staring at the city.
"Tyler."He said and nuzzles his head in the crook of my neck.
Tyler is still a playboy, he says that he hasn't find a girl of his liking yet.
He has shifted to New Jersey last year.
"What did he say?" I asked although it was difficult to speak when he is causing these sensations to me.

He sighed.
"He has opened a new chains of clubs in New Jersey and has invited everyone for its inauguration party next weekend. Alex and Blake will also be there." He said while I hummed in response.
"So what are the plans for tomorrow?" I asked acting oblivious.
"Well like normal days going to the office." He said and shrugged. I frowned.
"I mean is there something special you want to do?" I asked hoping he would get the hint.
He thought for a moment before speaking.
"No there is nothing." He said and tried to kiss me on the neck but I quickly pushed him away feeling angry. He gave me a confused look.
Did he really forgot our wedding anniversary? Has his love decreased for me?
"I am going to sleep." I stated and stormed towards the bedroom.
Currently, I am sitting on the couch in the living room reading a magazine. I am still mad at Vaughn for forgetting our wedding anniversary. Even I had bought a gift for him but I think he doesn't deserve it.
He has left early today even before I woke up. It was now early night.
Suddenly!!
I felt someone's presence behind me and familiar masculine cologne hit my nostrils. I turned my head.
"What are you doing here Vaughn?" I asked plainly. While he stared at me, he was dressed in a black shirt and pants. Looking handsome.
I shook my head. I can't let his charms deceive me.
"Well can't I come to spend time with my wife?" He said, not breaking the eyecontact. I could feel his intimidating gaze causing my heart to flutters so I quickly averted my gaze.
"I don't think so because you don't care about me anymore." I said, while trying not to show any emotion. But it was clear that I was angry at him.
He stepped closer to me.
"I think you are angry at me?" He said in his silky voice. And I gulped and remained silent.
He was now standing too close to me.
"But I think you will forgive me after seeing your wedding anniversary gift"He whispered huskily. His mouth inches apart.
He then took out a velvet box from his pocket and opened it. I was surprised to see a beautiful pair of diamond earrings kept inside it.
"Its beautiful." I said while admiring them.
"But it will become more beautiful when you wear it." He said and handed it to me. I wore them and then met his blue eyes, which were already staring at my emerald ones with fascination.

"I thought that you forgot about the wedding anniversary. " I said and he smiled.
"I can never forget the only most beautiful thing that ever happened to me." He said huskily near my ear and a chill pass down my spine.
"We-well I also have something for you." I said as he pulled away a little and looked at me intensely.
I then quickly went inside the closet and brought a wrapped box outside. I handed it to him as he raised his eyebrow in a questioning look.
"Open and find out." I said and shrugged.
He then tore the wrapper and slowly opened the box while I waited patiently for his reaction. He continued to stare at it so I spoke.
"Do you like it?" I asked hopefully.
He then slowly looked up his eyes glistening with an unsaid emotion.
"I loved it. Its very unique and beautiful. Thank you " He complimented and looked down again at the glass showpiece containing a boy and girl hugging eachother in a park while snow flakes surrounded them. It took me several hours to choose a gift for him.
"I am glad that you like it." I said with a smile. He then kept it at the side of our bed and turned towards me. My heart skips a beat on seeing some emotions flickering in his eyes. He stepped closer to me.
"I have planned something special for you." He said as I gave him a confused look.
"What is it ?" I asked to which he smile.
"It is for me to know and you to find out. " He said and winked. While my curiosity increased.
After an hour drive we have reached our surprise place destination although I can't see it as Vaughn has blindfolded my eyes and is guiding me.
"Can I take it off now?" I asked.
"Wait a little more, we are reaching there." He said and I sighed.
After a few minutes we came to a stop.
"Now you can take it off." He said and I quickly pulled the blindfold off. I slowly opened my eyes and blinked them.
There in front of me stood a table for two beautifully decorated with candles. It surrounded by woods and a lake at the side. Above it was the fascinating starry sky.
My eyes glisten with amazement.
"First I thought to take you to a five star restaurant but then it struck me why not to do something different and have dinner watching the very thing which you like the most." He said while looking up at the shimmering night sky. "And everyone can have a candlelight dinner but we will have a special Starlight dinner." He said with a wink a playful smile tugging at his lips, I turned towards him and hugged him. As he hugged me back.
"So thoughtful of you. I really like it." I said sincerely with a smile.
We then pulled apart and move towards the table. A waiter came and served us our drink.
"When did you planned this all?" I asked and took a sip from my drink.
"Since morning." He said with a smile. Now I know why he left early.
We then sat there in silence just staring at eachother with adoration. I just can't get enough of watching those captivating oceanic orbs.
"I love you a million." I whispered.
"I love you a billion." Vaughn whispered. I slowly leaned in and kissed him on his lips, I could feel him smiling during it.
The entire night we spend together. Talking, laughing and also dancing in eachother's embrace. It was the most romantic beautiful night and it holds a special place in my heart. And at that night only, I finally came to know what truly my destiny was to be.
And that is here in the warm embrace of my Prince Charming, MY Vaughn.
People thinks that our fantasies can't become our reality. But I think they are wrong, they can make them true. We just have to never stop believing and fight for it. Just like I did.
