My reflexes suddenly punched Cloud in the stomach, he held his stomach in pain.

"THE HELL PENELOPE?!" He said loudly at me, his eyes showed so much hatred and yet they disappeared once he has calmed down.

"Sorry but I don't sleep with perverts" I told him angrily, he held one of my wrists as soon as he finally recovered from the punch. Cloud's face was serious and I can see a nerve showing at the side of his neck where he clenched his jaw tightly

"No you idiot, I mean sleep beside me not do that, but if you want I don't mind" he smirked.

The sheer fucking confidence of this guy

I rolled my eyes at him, is this how he deals with girls?!

"Why do you suddenly tell me this offer?" I asked him, he smiled

"We could help each other"

"With what? Me sleeping with you and you tutoring me? My parents are going to kill me" I told him as I try to give him my point and explanation, many people will question our relationship if I sleep with him on the same bed. I'm more concerned what happened to Cloud to have that kind of idea in his head.

We would be the center of attention of everybody's gossip

"That won't be a problem" he leaned on the lamp post as he is waiting for my answer.

"So what is this amazing solution that you thought of?" I asked him as I try to show him that I am not much interested in his offer, if he thinks that I can just accept his ridiculous offer happily like a clueless girl. He is wrong.

"We keep it a secret" he said with one finger at the front of his lips like a shush. He might be the apple to everybody's eye but to me I can see the rotten parts that are hidden, to be more specific he acts like a goodie two shoes but when people turn their backs this is who he really is.

I am glad I know who he really is because he could've fooled me real good.

"And do you think that people would not get suspicious? Like how the hell am I going to sleep with you if I live with my parents? they would become suspicious and will question me" I'm more concerned about how people would think of me because he would come into the picture and might as well destroy my life.

He didn't even think for a second when he told me this next "in school we keep it a secret but to your family we will make it like we are in a relationship"

I kicked him at the knee and he bent down to hold the hurting knee that I just kicked "Everything you say sound so easy to you but if you look at it from my perspective, it is way harder than it seems"

He looked up at me "I will give you by tomorrow about your answer" he finally gain his strength from his knee and stood up properly, I turned my back on him and walked straight to the van.

Never have I seen such a mess in my entire life but more importantly in my room, I was so tired last night that after my body touched the bed I instantly fell asleep that I didn't have time to look around my bedroom.

I looked to my right to see Aunt Laborè sound asleep with her silky creamy white eye mask on, my sisters know I'm a neat freak so seeing my room like this can make me irritated this early in the morning. I tried to understand that Aunt Laborè doesn't know that I am a neat freak so this might get complicated.

I got out of bed and took a shower, as I went out to my room in a towel I saw Aunt Laborè in my walk-in closet.

I guess rummaging through someone's closet runs in the family

She came out with a spaghetti-strapped yellow sundress that has white daisies pattern all over it and the dress would reach my mid-thighs.

"Nope, Nuh-uh I would never wear that" I pleaded to her, the sundress looks nice and all because she gifted it to me back when it was my birthday but as a girl going to high school, this might make me uncomfortable especially with many judging eyes following me because of the dress. The majority of the girls in school would usually wear pants, sweatpants heck even pajama pants, Danny and her group would always wear a plaid skirt that looks like a uniform and she would always tell everyone that the preppy look fits her well.

I'm also concerned from the boys who some are perverts.

"You would look lovely in this Penelope" she said to me excitedly, my only weakness is that I can never let someone down when they're this excited so I have no choice but to wear it. I cringed at myself when I passed by the mirror

I look like a kindergarten teacher

She brought out a pair of white heels this time.

"Can I just wear plain white shoes? That thing hurts my feet" I asked her nicely and she sighed sadly while giving me a pout.

"Ok"

She walked in then out of my closet bringing out my white plain shoes. I wore them then I put on a simple makeup look and she styled my hair with soft wavy curls at the tips. She puts my hair in a half up half down hairstyle.

I hesitated to go out of my room but Aunt Laborè pulled me by the arm and dragged me downstairs, my family saw my outfit and style as Aunt Laborè does that showy pose that makes their attention go to me.

Natalie stopped putting on her lip gloss, Wendy lets go of the spoon that had milk and cereal on it as it was about to go in her mouth, Ella and Brie looked at me funny.

"So what's the occasion of you dressing up sis?" Adeline asked as she walked past by me and Aunt Laborè

Adeline didn't even look surprised at me, it's almost like she is expecting that this will happen

"I styled her up for fun" Aunt Laborè happily said and after a few minutes of silence the house was now noisy because my sisters too wanted a style up.

I giggled at everyone as we all help each other out with styling up, I took care of Brie's hair as for Adeline doing Natalie's makeup, Caramia and Wendy were choosing an outfit for each other, and finally, as for Ella her shoes were chosen by Aunt Laborè. It took all of us a good 40 minutes to do it quickly as possible and managed to ride on the van and head to school.

I was tired but happy that I enjoyed helping my sisters out to look good, Brie stopped at the entrance but I still don't want to go out of the van feeling super nervous and I can feel my heart beat fast

"Is she nervous?" Adeline asked Wendy and from one look at me she said "she is nervous"

"C'mon Penelope, it's not like people would judge you every day just from the outfit you are wearing now" Brie said to me in assurance but that just made my heart beat faster and it made me more nervous.

"Let's be honest here, we look hot as hell right now" Wendy stated and we all look at her

"What?" She raised a brow at us, she flipped her hair with such confidence that has her chin up.

Adeline gave me a water bottle and I drank it, I calmed down after a few assurances from them. I look out at the van window to see that there are a lot of students outside

Why today of all days do they have to be this many student's outside!?

"You know what? Fuck this!" Adeline said loudly then went out of the van and pulled me out, she quickly close the van door as soon as all three of us were out. Brie waved us goodbye and the van left.

"Let's go Wendy" she pulled Wendy to go to the other building, I was now left alone at the entrance.

I have closed my eyes and let out a sigh

Fine then, I might as well go looking like this than nothing at all

I stepped in the campus and many eyes were at me, only a few girls wear dresses in school and one of those girls is me today.

I saw Alice from a mile away running to me excitedly while the rest followed her, she hugged me and look at me up and down.

"You look gorgeous today sleepy!!" She said loudly which made more students look at me, curious people are attracted to loud noises

"You're wearing a dress today, you sure your not uncomfortable?" Will asked me

Like a brother that I never have

He is a good person, he noticed that many eyes were on me

"Careful now, she might explode from getting irritated at her clothes" Cloud joked at me

Jane whispered in my ear "I have pants and a random shirt do you want to borrow?"

"No thanks Jane but I'll keep that in mind" I smiled at her and she returned it to me with a grin

The three of my friends walked in front of me and Cloud leaving enough space for us to talk while we walk into school

"My offer still stands so what is your answer?" He asked not looking at me with him being distracted at a group of girls who were eyeing him from afar, they throw flirty looks at him and dirty glares at me.

"Like I said I don't want your offer" I whisper yell at him, he smirked

"I need your proper answer after school"

I glared at him "Is my answer not proper enough?!" I told him that only we can hear, he chuckled looking down then straight into my eyes

"I need to see if you can survive school with that brain of yours especially if your goal is to become one of the honors" he told me and gave me a sly smile then walked away to the other corridor

Walking near to my locker I can see Danny with her group at the other end, I ignored them

"I see you are taking the other route if you have no brains" she talked to me and I continue to ignore her

"And what route would that be Danny?" Her friends asked her and she look at me

"Become a slut of course, with that dress she needs to get many attention" she said and laughed along with her group, I slammed my locker shut which startled her. They have a croaky laugh so instead of making me angry I was amused

"Maybe I will and I might as well become your mother" I whispered to her but of course her group heard me and she was dead silent, I rolled my eyes and turn my back at her and walked away

Will walked beside me and let out a laugh "you shut them up for the first time sleepy, last I check you promised yourself that you wouldn't answer all her comments about you"

"Will I need to at least defend for myself this time, she is so annoying. If it wasn't for the law I might have stabbed her with my pencil a long time ago" I let out and he listened to me, the funny part is that he agreed to what I am saying

Will and I have our morals to live up to since we promised ourselves that we won't act rashly a few years ago, I don't have any comment about his sister though. Jane acts on her own will and we will always be surprised at everything she does when she is angry.

I didn't even want to think if she is furious, Will told me that when a neighborhood kid tried to prank Jane she almost beat the hell out of the kid. Let's not hope that Danny didn't push too much buttons on Jane or else the next place she would be going to is the graveyard.
