We walked into the classroom in our first period and as always I always sit behind Peter Nickelson that tall kid. Me and Peter formed an odd friendship ever since first year. I would always sleep behind him and he would use himself to cover me, in return for covering me every class lecture I would always buy him snacks as thanks.

"Morning Price" he greeted me

"Morning Peter"

"You're wearing a dress today" I heard Yara say to me, her dark skin that was always so smooth and shiny that it is literal goals to have. She is a cool person to be with because she doesn't give a damn when Danny tried to lash out at her and she just sits there in a relaxed position with a poker face.

"Tell me about it, Danny tried to annoy me today about this dress" I answered as put my arms on the table and buried my face in it.

"Danny always fights people, I wonder why?" Peter was confused because Danny only fights certain people she has a history with. Yara used to be one of Danny's followers when she suddenly said a racist joke and it gave Yara a wake-up call that she has to leave the toxic group.

My history with Danny started all the way back to childhood, we were great friends actually but then when elementary comes around she would notice that she would always be at the top of her class and every praise she gets goes into her head and now she is this prideful bitch that fights anyone who defies her.

"Peter everybody in school has at least experienced Danny's wrath once in their high school life here" Yara explained to him as her eyes were glued on some novel.

"What novel are you reading Yara?" I asked her and she showed me the cover

"That is an erotic novel Yara" Peter said to her and she shrugged

"You are reading that novel in school?" I asked her in amusement.

"As if the teachers care about it, they care so much about our grades yet they don't care about what we read as long as we read"

Jane came into the classroom and sat at the table that I save for her with Yara sitting in front of her, Jane's eyes landed on Yara's book after she puts down her bag, she snorted a little.

"Now that I think about it, do you and Cloud have some kind of relationship?" Peter asked me and Jane looked at me with shock in her eyes.

Jane likes Cloud and I hate it when Cloud told me his offer last night, I can benefit from it but the guilt will not go away if I accept his offer and besides I hate him anyway.

"We do not have any kind of relationship with each other" I answered

Yara gave the look to Peter "Are you blind Nickelson? It's quite obvious that they hate each other's guts, leave them alone and they fight to the death"

Yara seems to be the only one who can see through my buddy-buddy act with Cloud and she sympathizes with my pain and annoyance because she also sees how much of a jerk Cloud can get, Jane didn't mind me hating Cloud because she knows I would never do anything to hurt the person she likes.

But other than Peter, Yara and Jane and especially Cloud, no one in this school knows that I hate Cloud because if they do all of Cloud's fangirls might attack me and that is not something I should mess around with.

Cloud came into the classroom and his eyes went to me.

He is giving that mischievous eyes again

I rubbed my temple, I don't think I'm ready for this class to start. This is to test my knowledge and it will be the basis of how I will answer to Cloud's offer after school today.

I am this close to hitting Cloud's head, it was lunchtime right now and me and my friends gathered at one huge table. I invited Peter and Yara to join us since they don't have any group to sit with, Cloud was sitting beside me and is putting all the great beans in his plate to mines.

"Excuse me grumpy but what the hell is this?" I asked him with a smile but my eyes are saying a different expression.

"Green beans make you smarter" he mocked me through his grin and my hand formed a fist under the table.

"Picky eater, I am not eating the green beans!" I argue with him

"Then who's the picky eater now huh?" He retorted

"I just finished all of my green beans and you put all of yours into my plate"

I told him getting ready to hit him at the back of his head

"This just goes to show how much I cared about you" I scoffed at his answer

"So you don't care about our dear friends then?" I gestured him to look at all of our friends gathered around the table

"Sleepy don't bring us into this, I don't want to eat green beans" Alice told me as she is still playing with her green beans with a fork .

"You're all high schoolers and you guys hate green beans?" Peter asked all of us as he finished eating his plate of green beans

His plate is clean, too clean. Did he lick the fucking plate?

"Not all of us likes a lot of vegetables Peter" Will told him

"Fine then, I'll have the green beans" Peter announced to us, all of us gave our green beans to Peter and he happily accepted it and ate it all, Peter is taller than Cloud by the way.

He is the tallest guy in school, Cloud and a few guys are second tallest

"No wonder your so tall" I said

"Genetics could be at play sometimes when it comes to the person's height" Yara still has her eyes hooked on that novel from this morning

"Did you heard there's a new guy in school?" Alice asked us all as she stuffed her mouth with the cake that was given to us as a dessert.

"Yeah I heard but I forgot his name" Yara told Alice and shrugged.

I heard that there was a new guy in school because I heard Danny talk about it in third period.

"I think his name is Nickolas" I tried to guess the new kid's name.

"BINGO! that's my name" I heard a loud voice that is from the right side of my head and I turned to meet his face, he was handsome like Cloud and has a towering height also. I think I also heard an accent from him like Cloud has a British accent

His accent is Italian, I could tell

"You finally made it in time, thought you were dead" Cloud said to him leaving all of us puzzled, he was talking so casually with Nick.

"I'm Cloud's boyfriend" Cloud rolled his eyes at him while Nick grinned at all of us.

"He is an idiot don't mind him" he said to us as he drinks his juice.

"I'm hurt from what you said, all those memories we made and this is what I get?" Nicholas said to him dramatically that I try to stifle my laugh along with Jane and Peter.

"At least some people get my joke am I right Sunny?" He looked at me.

"I'm Penelope"

"Duh, I know you have a name I just gave you a random nickname because of your outfit, you're wearing a sundress"

We spend our whole lunch with Nickolas, he is a funny and dramatic guy compared to Diana the Dramatic in our school Nickolas is nothing compared to her. That girl never seems to understand her limit of being dramatic in every situation.

Next period is me with Nickolas and Cloud, I was not too thrilled to walk side by side with Cloud to class but thankfully his buddy Nickolas has at least lifted the gloomy mood that Cloud always put up.

"So Sunny how did you and Cloud become friends?" He asked me as he put an arm around Cloud.

"I'm not friends with him" I told him with a straight face and he laughs.

"That's true who else could be friends with him than I?" he said proudly.

"How did you and Cloud become friends?" I asked him as I fixed my shoulder bag that kept slipping down on my shoulder.

"Oh just like any soap opera we met by the train, he lost his wallet and he asked me to borrow some of my money. Few days later he called me and gave back the money he borrowed, I still don't know how the heck did he managed to get a hold of my number but I guess after a few meet ups and playing video games we instantly became friends" he ruffled Cloud's hair

"Hey stop it, it took me hours to fix my hair you know" he grumbled to Nick

"You spent an hour on you hair?" I raised a brow at Cloud with a smile on my face.

Cloud was about to say something when suddenly Nick spoke first

"Oh yeah, he always care so much about his hair that he has to take a look at the mirror every other hour"

I laughed a little at the idea of Cloud being hair conscious, he doesn't show it so I never knew he was like that. He always show like he doesn't care about his appearance which makes him give off that no effort handsome look.

Cloud elbowed him at the side and went in the classroom, Nick quickly recovered from the hit like it was nothing.

"You guys are like cat and dog" I whispered to Nick

"More like we argue like husband and wife"
