We were so immersed in reading the book that by the time the principal finished his speech a loud horn sound rang through our ears making us both startled at the same time

"Alright swimmers get ready at the starting line" An announcer said on the microphone while standing up on a stage

The crowd was so loud that my ears hurt but I don't mind, Benjamin flashed us a smile as he waved at us once more. Liam and Sophie waved back at him

"Go beat them Benji!" Noah yelled at him and Benjamin gave him a thumbs up

When it was time to start the crowd went silent when the announcer is counting down to zero, we all joined him at counting down almost like New Year. When we yelled "GO" at the same time the swimmers now dived in and swam, it was thrilling to watch someone you root for compete

Cloud's eyes were stuck on watching Benjamin swim past the other swimmer and finally reach the end so he could swim back to the starting line, My hands were shaking along with Nick whom I've noticed after I try to check up on him. It almost felt like we are watching a thriller movie

I couldn't contain all the pent up adrenaline rush inside of me so I stood up from my seat and yelled "GO BENJI!!"

My yell was the loudest out of all the parents who kept chanting their children's names

Shit, this is too embarrassing

I was yelling so loud that I'm not even a parent or family member of Benjamin's, I hid myself between Mason and Nick who were actually tall to be able to cover me from the eyes of other people who are still looking at me weirdly

I felt something tap my back so I turned my head slightly to see that it is a gum pack being given to me by Cloud who gave it to me behind Mason who was unaware of what is happening, Cloud was also in an adrenalin rush because he was chewing his gum like he is chewing the dead bodies of his enemy

I took the gum from his hand and popped one into my mouth and I chew to maintain my composure especially the adrenaline, Benjamin won and we cheered loudly as Oliver held up a banner with Benjamin's huge picture printed on it

When it was time to go home, Mason and Oliver asked Cloud if they could come with us to get a ride to go visit Adeline. The other brother's ears perked up when Mason said that they wanted to visit my home so they all wanted to come too, I called up my Mom and Dad to ask them

"Hey sweetie" Mom picked up the phone

"Hey, Mom so uh is Aunt Laborè there? Can I talk to her?"

"Sure" I heard the phone being given to another person

"Laborè speaking" her voice popped up and I told her immediately about the brother's wanting to come to my home

"I don't see a problem in that, does Miss Sophia allow it?" She asked me and I can hear a loud scream in the background which I assumed belonged to Adeline's

"WHO TOOK MY EYELINER!?" She yelled in a low voice and growled like a bear which made me and everyone around me stifle our laughter, mostly Nick who was trying his best not to laugh

Sophia cackled "I'll let you boys visit them but be back before midnight" she hopped into a Ford car before driving off, luckily Liam, Noah and Dustin brought their car so it wouldn't be too crowded inside Cloud's vehicle

I was anxious about how the brothers will react to our home, it is not as grand as the palace they are living in and I'm not sure 17 people could fit in our home that is only meant to hold 9 people and one visitor. Benjamin and Nick was with us in Cloud's car

Oh my gosh I almost forgot about Nick, so that makes 18 people then

Benjamin was wearing the gold medal proudly around his neck and a big smile as he glances out the window watching houses pass by, once we reached my home we waited for the others before we make it to the front door

I walked up to the front door to knock on it to be greeted by Wendy who was holding a basketball in her hand, she looks like she was ready to go out and play when she notices the brothers waiting outside our home

"Hi Wendy!!" Benjamin ran up to Wendy to show her his gold medal

Wendy was still processing everything because she reacted late, she pulled my arm until my ear was close to her and she whispered "Why the hell are they here!?"

"Didn't Aunt Laborè told you yet?" I gave her a puzzled look

Oh no

My sisters weren't ready and I peeked my head into my home to see the living room a complete mess

They are not ready!!

"Guys hold on for a minute" I told the brother's who didn't mind because Mr Marly who was our next-door neighbour has his dog keep them distracted, Nick and I went in quickly

"What happened here!?" I asked Wendy as Nick looked around with a surprised look with his eyes observing every mess that was on the floor

"Adeline went on a rampage and made a lot of chaos inside" she leaned at the wall fiddling with the ball in her hand, Caramia and Brie walked out of the kitchen all covered in ketchup

"And what happened to the both of you?" Nick pointed to Brie who was bathed in ketchup

"Why don't you ask Ella then" Caramia sneered as she looked at herself being disgusted at the mess

WE DON'T HAVE TIME

I can hear loud stomping getting near us and it was Adeline who now looks crazy like she escaped a mental asylum, Ella came out and tried to apologize to Caramia and Brie

She must be talking to the brother's after her shift ended at the hospital

"Heck no!" Caramia told him as she felt embarrassed being seen in a mess, Noah was kind enough to come inside quickly to help us clean the mess, the other brother's followed suit

"You girls are messier than we do, holy crap" Dustin held a broom to sweep the floor
