I studied the the biology text book that I was reading closely. I've found interest reading about the body and how it works. Ever since I removed my stitches last week, I wanted to know more.

Currently in the bedroom, I was surrounded by many text books and dictionaries. My lack of proper education makes it a little bit harder to read. So, I use my phone dictionary to know the pronunciation of many words that I find difficult.

After studying it for about and hour or so I got bored and closed it. I packed the books to the shelf and went out of the room in search of Jason.

''I'm out of the room. Where are you?'' I asked Jason in the mind link. It was part of our new rules. I must tell him everywhere I'm going to or else he'll flip.

''Stay where you are. I'm coming'' He ordered.

Huh!

''No need, I'm heading towards your office'' If he thinks even for a minute, that I'm going to stand here waiting for him to come get me, he's wrong.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like the attention that he's being giving ms ever since the incident. Its just that he's treating me like a fragile China plate and I don't like it. I've never been one to stay idle and I don't know how to do it.

Jason does not let me do any fudging thing!

Drop the cup! You might hurt your fingers.

Don't do anything, your injury might hurt you.

Don't laugh too hard,you might rip your stitches.

I can't do anything without Jason telling me why I shouldn't.

''Wait for me,Love'' He repeated.

I ignored him and started moving towards his office, fuming. I've had enough. I removed the stitches last week and I'm fine now. I'm fudging fine and it's not like Sharon's mum was going to pop out and try to kill me again. I've not even seen her since or heard her name. The time I saw Sharon she was looking so glum. She apologized profusely that day too.

I was moving so fast and angrily that I didn't see where I was going and barged into someone. I was about to apologize when I saw Jason's worried face. I huffed and looked away.

''I asked you to wait for me,Love. Are you hurt anywhere?'' He asked while examining my body as if he was expecting to see a big gash or a gun shot wound or something.

This is what I'm talking about.

''I'm fine Jason. I can walk from the room to your office without getting injured. Can you please stop coddling me. I don't like it anymore'' I rambled at once. I was already breathing hard when I finished talking and Jason was looking more worried.

''Stop talking to fast babe, you might...''

''I'M FINE JASON. I'm fudging fine'' I shouted.

''It's okay, it's okay. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. It's just that I don't like seeing you hurt or in pain. I just want to keep you close to me so that nothing will hurt you'' He said.

''I know, but I'm not comfortable with all the coddling. I'll go crazy. Just let me resume my normal chores,please'' I pleaded with my hands clasped together.

He ran his hands through his head,frustrated. His hair were already sticking in different directions. I raised my hands and smoothed it.

''Please. You can keep some pack members to watch me. Whatever you want,just let me go back to doing normal things. I promise not to strain myself'' I pleaded further.

''Fuck! I'll,uh I'll try. Fuck! Why is this hard?'' He said the last part to himself and my heart melted at that.

Thank you for giving me Jason. A million thanks.

''Maybe we can negotiate. An hour per day and when you are comfortable we can extend it'' I suggested. It's not enough but it's something.

He looked somewhat relieved when I suggested that.

''Yeah...'' He cleared his throat. ''Yeah, I can work with that. Thanks for understanding, love. I can't lose you at all''

Fudge! I understand him and his fear of losing me.

I can't even imagine my life without Jason. No way!

''Thanks Jay'' I said while hugging him. He wrapped his arms around me tightly as if I would disappear anytime soon. I didn't complain though. I love Jason's hugs.

''Who is wrong,Ken?'' Someone asked. I looked up from the candy crush that I was playing on my phone to look at the person. Jordan and Jasmine were staring at me with the same expression. Anger.

''What?''

Jasmine rolled her eyes at me and repeated the question.

''I asked you who is wrong?''

''How? What do you mean?'' I replied. They have been arguing since I got here so I tuned them out and was playing candy crush. I've just been replying 'uhuh' and 'Hmmm' to all their questions, but I didn't hear anything they've been saying.

Jasmine's face changed. Uh-oh! She looked a little bit mad and glared at me.

What did I do again.

''You were not listening, right?'' Jasmine asked with a low voice. Her angry voice.

I shook my head slowly. I've been caught.

Jasmine closed her eyes and breathed in and out for like five minutes and when she opened them,she was smiling. There was no trace of anger on her face and I relaxed a little. Her slogan for this week was i-won't-get-angry-on-anyone. I don't know if it's possible,but... Let's see.

''I'm going to explain it again and you are going to listen to me. No! You must listen to me. It's a must'' She said with a pointed look on her face. Jordan started laughing but he stopped when Jasmine glared at him.

''Yes ma'am. I'll listen'' I answered her and my answer seemed to appease her because she started smiling.

''Very good. This Mr know all here had the guts to tell me that my make-up is wrong. He said that my foundation is the wrong shade. Is it true?'' She asked.

Okay Kenzie. Think about it very well. If you say ,you are dead and if you say o, Jordan would get mad.

I smiled at Jasmine and asked with a small voice.''Can I listen to Jordan's opinion first?''

''Yes you can. But, he's lying''

I turned to Jordan who was typing on his phone and cleared my throat to get his attention.

'Please just tell her that you are wrong and she's right. We all know that you are correct,but Jasmine will never admit it' I mind linked him.

'No way! I'm loving the argument and you better say the truth'' He replied with a smirk.

I wanted to scream into the mind link,but he blocked it.

''What are you waiting for? Ask him!'' Jasmine said. Her patience clearly running out.

'Kitten. Your one hour is up' Jason said in the mind link.

Hallelujah!

I'm going to give him a big hug for what he just did for me. He just saved my life.

'Okay. I'm coming out' I said while standing.

''Where are you going to?'' Jasmine asked with a confused look on her face.

''Oh um, my one hour is up. I'm leaving''

Her expression changed immediately.

''Okay,but who is wrong?''

''Nobody okay? I just think you should,um,take Jordan's advice. He's the professional here. Okay bye!'' I said and ran out of the door.

Mind you, I'm not a coward. I'm just scared of Angry Jasmine. She's not fun to be around.

'Wait there love. I'm coming to get you' Jason mind linked.

I thought as much.

I stood there waiting and a few minutes later, Jason arrived holding a picnic basket.

Huh!

''Hey,love''

''Hi. What's this?''

''I,uh just thought that,um,you've been indoors for a long time now. I just want us to have a picnic together. Outside'' He said. His cheeks were red and he was looking at every other place except my face.

Oh my gosh! Jason is blushing.

I almost laughed and said it out loud but I bit my tongue. I must've been staring for long because he said '' You don't have too. If you're tired we can go home. Are you...tired?'' He asked with worry.

''No,no. I'm not tired at all. I'd love to have the picnic with you'' I rushed out.

''Yeah?''

''Yeah'' I nodded.

If I spend one more minute in that house. I'd go crazy.

''Let's go''

This place is beautiful. I was surrounded by flowers. Different type of flowers. This place looks like the place I met my parents when I was in coma.

I turned to look at Jason with what I'm sure was a very big smile on my face.

''This place is so beautiful. How come no one showed me the place?''

He smiled but had a sad look in his eyes.

''It,uh, belonged to my mother. She planted it herself'' He said looking uncomfortable.

''Oh, um. It's really beautiful''

Jason scratched the back of his neck and looked at everywhere but me.

''I've not,uh,been here since she passed away. Someone has been taking care of this place for me'' He looked so sad while saying it. So that's why I've never met her. She's no more.

''I'm sorry'' I know how it feels loosing someone. it's not a good feeling at all.

''Yeah. it's no big deal'' He said,waving it off,but from his face you'd know its a big deal. He's still hurting.

I decided to leave the topic and turned to look at the flower garden. There were many of them,I don't even know where to start from.

We stood there enjoying the serene atmosphere before Jason spoke.

''Come let's eat,love''

I turned to him and saw that he had already spread out a blanket on the grass and had dished the food. I must have been staring at the flowers longer than I thought.

We sat down on the blanket and Jason gave me a Ham and cheese sandwich. I took a bite out of it and almost moaned out loud at the taste.

I think I did it because Jason laughed.

We finished eating and packed away the dishes,but none of us moved. I moved closer to Jason and snuggled my head into his shoulder and he wrapped his arms tightly round me.

I love this feeling. This feeling of...of love,of being wanted,of being important. I love it.

Jason and his park which is also becoming my pack have been the best. They made me experience things that I wasn't given opportunity to in my former pack and I'm grateful. They don't make me feel like I'm a murderer or whatever they called me. I've had more gun in this pack than I've had anywhere else.

''This is nice'' I said with a smile in NY voice.

''Hmmm. We should do this every time. That is if you want to'' He said while kissing my forehead. I love when he does that. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

''Yes please. I'd love it''

I stayed like that cuddled to Jason and that was when I decided to tell him about me and my past. It has really been bordering me. I was even shocked that He or anyone from the pack gas not done a background check on me or asked my former pack. If they had done it,I'm not aware. I don't want Jason to hear it from anyone except me.

''You know that I didn't really k-kill my parents, right?'' I blurted out,choking at the end.

Jason wrapped his arms around me tighter and drew me deeper to him.

''I know, Love''

I felt myself tearing up as I remembered what happened.

''I was,um, eight. We were having a family day and we heard the r-rogue alarm. D-dad had to go because he was the Alpha. My mum gave me a the emergency back and told me yo run to my uncles place. That was the last time I heard from them. She was pregnant, Jason'' My chest was hurting and it felt hard and painful to breathe. I took a desperate gulp of sir,then another,then broke into sobs.

Jason held me closely, muttering 'you're okay' repeatedly while rubbing my back.

''I, I went to my u-uncles p-pack and expected him to accept me,b-but he took me in front of the pack and called me a m-murderer. The pack believed him and started being hostile towards me. They all believed him'' I said amidst sobs.

''You are okay. You are out of there. They can't hurt you anymore. Those bastards can't do anything to you anymore. You are safe here,Love'' Jason said. The anger on his tone was noticeable.

I listened to his words and it calmed me down by a notch. I'm out of there already, so they can't do anything to me. I have Jason and the pack. They are more than I could ask for.

My tears reduced to sniffles then I finally calmed down. Jason was here,No worries.

We stayed there for quite a while before we left.

''Try and pish it in dummy and don't injure me'' I told Jordan who was bent on the floor beside me.

We need to do fast before Jason comes. My one hour would soon be up .

''I'm trying and don't call me dummy. I'm not even sure it fits'' He said glaring at me.

I stuck out my tongue at him and decided to tease him a little bit.

''Even after all the hours you spend in the gym,you can't do this simple thing. Uh''

I think he got a little bit mad because he pushed it with his strength.

''Ouch! Jordan. Take it easy. Do you want Jason to kill you'' That seemed to do the trick because his expression immediately shifted from anger to panic in a span of seconds.

''Fudge! You are not gonna tell on me are you?'' He rushed out clearly worried.

''Um,that is if you make it fit and buy me a box of chocolate'' I smirked at him and waited for his reply even when I'm sure he'd do it.

''Done. Don't just tell on me. I don't want him to do a number on me. I know he has been dying to'' Jordan said.

He has not really accepted that it what happened with that bit... Sharon's mum was not his fault. I've tried, well everyone have tried to tell him,but...

''It won't fit,Kenzie. It's too big'' Jordan said after how many tries.

I heard the sound of footsteps coming and check the wristwatch that I was putting on.

Fudge!My one hour is up.

''Try harder, Jordan. It must fit'' I screamed at him. ''Be fast Jason is almost here''

''I said it won't fit'' He said almost sweating.

''If Jason was here he'd make it fit. Not like he had done this thing for me before,but I'm sure he'd do it'' I said proudly.

''Well I'm not Jason. I'm Jordan and maybe you should wait for him to do it for you'' He huffed. I want to surprise Jason and it won't be a surprise if he's helping out.

I really like the stuff so it must fit.

''Try harder harder,then''

He raised his head and glared at me.

''That is what we've been doing for the past twenty minutes. IT. WON'T. FIT'' He said,giving me a pointed look.

I was about to argue when the door suddenly opened with force,it was barely hanging on it's hinges and a very,very angry Jason stood there glaring at Jordan.

''WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?'' He bellowed.

Me and Jordan were still like a Rabbit caught in the headlights.

Jason closed his eyes and breathed in and out and then opened them. He was looking confused when he repeated his question.

''What is going on here?''

''Um, I was just h-helping her wear her shoe. It was a s-smaller size so we want to make it fit'' Jordan stuttered out. He was looking as frightened as me.

I've never seen Jason this angry before.

''That's all? Nothing else happened?'' He said,looking confused. What does he mean by nothing else happened. Is something meant to happen? I thought I was the only one surprising him today. I can't wait to see what his surprise for me.

''Nothing happened. You planned a surprise for me too. I wanted to surprise you. I cut my hair and Jordan bought me this clothe and shoes,but the shoes didn't fit. We've been trying since, but....''

Jason flushed red and rubbed his face with both hands.

''Thank Fuck! I almost had a heart attack and could have killed Jordan'' He said while rubbing his chest.

What!

''What did Jordan do?''

''What did I do?''

Me and Jordan asked at the same time.

''Nothing. You didn't do anything and I'm happy for that'' He said. ''And your haircut is okay,Love. You look beautiful''

I blushed at the compliment and muttered a 'thank you' to him.

''Let's go,love. I've had enough drama for today. I need to rest''. He said,taking my hand in his large ones and pushing me gently to the door.

''Bye Jordan. Thanks for the make-up and the dress. Make sure you don't forget my real size next time'' I said while moving towards the door.

Fudge! Walking hurts.

We were almost outside when Jordan gasped. I turned immediately to look at him only to see him smiling.

''Oh my gosh. You thought we were fu...'' Jason cut his off immediately when Jason rushed and covered Jordan's mouth with his hands.

Huh! What's going on. I don't get it.

''Don't you dare say it'' Jason growled at Jordan while glaring at him.

''Say what? What happened?'' I asked out of curiosity. I don't like to be kept in the dark.

''Nothing!'' Jason screamed.

''He thought me and you were fuc...'' Jason covered his mouth again before he could complete again,but I already got the memo.

I gasped and looked at Jason.

''Why would you think that? I'd never do that to you'' A part of me hurt that he thought I'd do that,but I wanted to know the reason.

''It's not like that,love. It's just that you guys were talking like...uh, you know'' He said,looking flustered.

Oh!

''Sorry. I didn't know'' He must've gotten quite a shock.

Jordan was still laughing and was pointing at Jason. His laughter was contagious that I didn't know when I joined him.

Jason stood there glaring at Jordan before he started running towards him.

''You better run you fucker!'' He shouted.

Jordan started running still laughing. They ran out of the room with Jason on Jordan's tail.

I walked behind them, I'm not going to run after them. No way!

When I got to the outside I was shocked at what I saw. Jason and. Jordan were still running after themselves,but this time some pack kids and even some adults were also amongst them.

I stood by the corner and looked at everyone having fun,laughing with their Alpha. It made me feel warm inside.

I felt someone stand beside me and looked up to see Beta Andrew. I've never said much words to him except 'Hi' and 'Hello'.

''You've really done a good job with him. Its been very long since...'' He gulped and continued. ''Since I've seen him laugh this much. He was my best friend,you know, but I kind of messed up our Friendship. Hope he forgives me'' He said looking very solemn.

Andrew was Jason's best friend? Weird.

''I didn't do anything, though. It's all him'' I said while looking at Jason. He was carrying three kids in his arms and they were all laughing. He would be carrying our kids too, one day.

''Thank you for making him happy,Luna'' Andrew said and left.

He's making me happy too.

Very happy.
