It is a new day and his words rang in my head

So now it turned to a surving game!

I shook my head I have to go to my restaurant and get things moving

After changing into my clothes–a white long sleeved shirt and a black bodicon skirt with black pointed stilettos.

I put a check mark on the big board in my room with numbers 1 to 365

I walked out and saw a man standing beside a car

"Good morning maam!I will be your chauffeur today,Master told me that you are not familliar with the city" a man with lean muscular structure clad with black suit greeted in a smile

Finally he did something nice!

I smiled as he opened a door for me

He drove me where my restaurant stood,it is seen through the massive windows how much designing it needs.

I walked to the building where I found that no one is still in except for one person my assistant Billy wearing casual shirt and jeans with loafers while his circle lenses protected his soft brown eyes

"Where are my designers?" I asked

I was expecting something would be done today but where are my workers?

"Miss,uh...we got a call that Mr.Romano has cancelled them" he said

"who?"I asked again,are my ears playing tricks?

"Mr.Romano Maam"he repeated

Romano?!

I asked Travis to drive me to his office.

The car stopped infront of a tall building.The glass glinted in the sunlight.

I marched in ignoring the eyes of the employees.I pressed the button in the elevator as Travis said his office is at the highest level and later I arrived before two huge very expensive looking double doors

I took a breath and started to walk towards it but a woman stopped me.She has blue eyes and pale skin.Her black hair lay perfectly on her exposed shoulders.She wore a white pencil skirt and a shoulderless red top.

"You can't get in Maam Mr.Romano is attending a very important phonecall at the moment,may I know your name? I will let him know you stopped by" She asked politely

Sadly I dont have time for shit right now,I demand explanations!

I ignored her and barged in

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked

He was shocked while his eyes stayed on me

He spoke flawless french on the other line then he put it down

"Taking a call" he said innocently

He signaled the woman behind me then I heard the doors close.

His office was modernly designed,his walls are made of glass overlooking the city below.His chair sat highly on the center while papers are messily scattered on it

"Do you really wanna do this Mr.Romano?" I asked

"What do you mean Miss Frause?" He asked

He called me by my last name

"You called to cancel my workers!"I snapped

He looked at me with questioned eyes

"I don't know what you are talking about,I never made a call" he said

"Then who did?"I asked

" I did" a woman's voice sounded,I swiveled around seeing a woman wearing a smile on her lips

Mr.Romano talked to her Italian

"Brother I just wanted to welcome my sister in law,for today" she said while she eyed me with a different look in her eyes,I can assure you it's not a welcoming look

"Mama Im off" I said excitedly to my Mama sitting on the couch watching her favorite drama

"Why so excited child?" She asked

"Niccolo is back today" I said and kissed her cheek

"Hay!this kid!" She shouted in a smile"him again!I should've already figured out he is the only one you fancied"

"Bye!...its so early that drama again!"I scolded at her while her eyes did bother to look at me

"Just go" she replied

I known Niccolo since we were young,we studied in her in Itlay since highschool when he got into harvard I tried my best to get in too and I succeeded

I sat on my table outside his office and fixed my hair

I sat up straight seeing him walk towards his office while Adriano follwed him

He looked more handsome everyday!he looked dashing in his all black suit while his hair neatly brushed on his head

"Good morning sir" I greeted,Im so happy I am able to see him again!

"Good morning,Anna" he replied,I felt my heart jump by his voice.I smiled and melted on my chair

I must say,I get jealous that he always have mistresses but they're just mistresses

Someday I will be permanent in his life

That's what I say everytime

Later I saw a woman angrily march in towards his office,I instantly stopped her

"You can't get in Maam Mr.Romano is attending a very important phonecall at the moment,may I know your name? I will let him know you stopped by" I asked politely doing my job while my eyes stare at her.She has golden eyes framed by her long eyelashes.She has golden hair which is perfectly tied,her slender long body is perfectly cloathed.Her clean smooth skin shone I observed she only wore light brown eyeshadow and maroon matte lipstick

She glared at me for a moment then stepped in,I followed her in and thank goodness Niccolo is finishing his call

Who is this rude lady?I thought

I was shocked when Niccolo signaled me to get out

Is she one of his mistresses?

I kept my eyes on the woman as I stepped out

She acts like she is very close with Nicco...

Should I be threatend by her being around Niccolo?or is there something I missed while I was away?
