I didn't even know that I was staring at him for so long that when Mrs. Williams call my name. I look away, my cheeks getting red because of embarrassed.
"Olivia, this is Mr. Maxwell. He's the CEO of Maxwell hotel and club"
Wait what????
He is ohh so famous Charles Maxwell. I have heard of him many times but never saw his picture or something. I have also heard he's ruthless and very strict.
"His parents is one of the biggest and important investor of our orphanage home. But this year their son is the new CEO so now he will be the one to attend the charity event" Mrs. Williams continue.
"Oh" that's all I said
I looked at Mr. Maxwell and saw him looking at me with amused expression.
Mrs. Williams cleared her throat to catch my attention. When I looked at her she eyed me. My eyes widening and I looked back at Mr. Maxwell.
"Yeah. I mean it's nice to meet you Mr. Maxwell" I raised my hand for a hand shake. My face showing the embarrassment
"Same here Miss..?"
"Evans" I try smiling
"Miss. Evans" and that's when his large and strong hand touched my small and soft hand. The handshake was firm but it was gentle. His hands look strong and hard, but it's actually soft.
God! It's just a handshake why I'm feeling this fluttering in my stomach.
"Olivia always come every thrice a week to meet this kids. All the kids love her" Mrs. Williams said and then I noticed I was still holding his hand. I retrieve my hand quickly.
I blushed when Mr. Maxwell stared at with while raising his perfect eyebrows.
I'm actually glad Mrs. Williams didn't explained about my past. She knows how much touchy subject it is for me. And I just don't want to share it someone I just met.

But he gives you the feeling that you never experienced before just in two days. My brain said
Oh shut up you stupid stupid Brain.
"Olivia, go show him around. I have some work to do" Mrs. Williams said patting my arms.
"Me? Uhh-I "I shuttered while thinking of some excuse but the stern eyes of Mrs. Williams stopped me.
"Okay. Yeah okay I can do that" I shrieked confusingly which earned me a chuckle from Mr. Maxwell.
I glare at him but he smirked.
That's is so freaking sexy. Damnn him. Ugh!!!!
"Okay, Mr. Maxwell I will take a leave. It was nice meeting you" Mrs. Williams said politely to him.
"Same here" he smiled at her and with that Mrs. Williams leave.
I stared at him for a while and then started walking towards the opposite direction. As I took few steps a large hand grab my wrist and pulled me back.
I looked at him while raising my brows. He's still holding my hand and when I looked at his hand and then his eyes, he quickly retreated his hand.
He cleared his throat, looking here and there while his fingers fumbled with his shirt buttons.
"Shall we?" He asked motioning towards the door.
I nodded my head and started walking ahead of him. But soon he catches up with me and Walk by my side.
"I didn't get your first name" he said slide glancing at me.
"Why-" I bit my tongue stopping myself to be rude.
Clearing my throat, "Olivia" I replied curtly.
"Nice name" his voice a bit husky.
"So you coming here often?" He asked curiously while we walking towards the park area.
I paused for a while processing his question.
"Yeah" I replied softly.
He noticed my discomfort and didn't questioned further.
We stayed silent enjoy the light lite inside the park. It's almost 8 o' clock and the only sounds is of trees moving from wind and insect chirping.

"The park is well maintained and there are varieties of rides for children to play" Mr. Maxwell said as he admire the park.
"Yeah. Wait till you see the library" I smiled at him.
"Than what are we waiting for? Let's go" he said looking at me with a grin.
He's so beautiful.
Not again.......
"This way" I motion my arms towards the way that lead to the library.
The library is not so big, it's of medium size but it is well managed. As we entered, the fragrance of Jasmine filled out nostril. Mrs. Williams always lite Incense sticks to serve as an aid in prayer.
As a kid I always used to love this fragrance and it helped me to feel calm and focused.
"Wow" Mr. Maxwell gushed.
"Yeah" I chuckled.
Mrs. Williams have done an amazing job with this library. When I used to live here, this place was my favorite. I used to spend hours here.
The library have wooden interior with a large wooden table set in the middle of it that provides a study area for the children, running alongside a wall of bookshelf with various books placed alphabetical so that these kids won't be troubled while finding their books. Boxs like staircase is made with books placed inside it where children can sit and read.
There's also a separate room upstairs where children could go and read while their exams are near. There's also a hammock that allow children to lie down and read.
On the left side of the library there is a huge window that helps in bringing light into the library.
As I walked inside the smell of the pages of old books fill up my nose I smiled as memories flashing back in my mind.
I remember how I used to sit there in the corner of the library, reading different novels for hours and not caring about how complicated my life is. All I could hear was the peaceful sound of the paper turning.
I didn't know I was smiling too much
When Mr. Maxwell interrupted, "Seems like this is your favorite place out of all" he didn't ask me. It was a statement.
I looked at him and nodded smiling.
I walked towards the study table and sat down on one of the chairs. I looked at Mr. Maxwell and saw him looking around. He walked towards where I'm but he's eyes were focused on the bookshelf. He touched those books softly with his fingertips, different emotion running inside his eyes.
He picked a book that caught his eyes and pat the book to blow the dust away. He scan the book and his lips curled up.
"Hey, you know-" he speaks turning his eyes towards me but stops for some unknown reason.
"I-" he clear his throat while looking back at the book and then placing it back in the shelf. I looked at him questionably, why did he stop?
Suddenly his facial expression changed back to no emotions. He was so different when he walked inside the library.
"It's a nice place. Shall we move on to next?" His voice was nothing like before. He stood there near the door, fixing his suit. I don't know but I feel he's hesitating to look into my eyes.
Maybe I'm thinking about it too much. I don't even know him that well.
"Yeah sure" the moment I replied he walked out of the library.
I stood there confused about what just happened...
