"I'm hungry. Are you?" He asked me, his arms still around my waist.

"Always a room for food" I chuckled

"Let's go then," he stand straight, grabbing his phone, "we will go that restaurant where you work, the food is delicious there"

As I heard that, my whole body went stiff. I just stood there not replying.

"C'mon" he started to walk but when he saw I didn't made a move

He scan my face, "what happened?"

"Can we go somewhere else? I-uh I don't really, umm actually I want to try some other place" I tried hard to sound like I'm not lying but his eyes is looking at me with such intensity, that made me shutter.

"Olivia" he put pressure on my name, knowing that I'm lying

I pursed my lips together, thinking of best way to explain him

"I don't work there anymore" I looked down at my shoes

"Why?" He slowly lifted my face up with his fingers on my chin, making me look into his eyes.

My eyes started to well up, as I remember that day in restaurant.

"Shh, shh" he hugged me, caring my hair.

"H-he was drun-nk. He for-forced himself on me" I struggled saying this as I weeped on his shirt.

His arms tensed around me, as he pulled away from the hug.

"What?" His eyes burning with anger as he clenched his fist

I looked away, tears trailing down my face.

"You are telling me this now?" he runs his hands angrily into his hair

"I won't spare him" he started marching towards the door but I grab him by his hand

"Don't, please"

"Are you kidding with me?" He yelled making me jump in fright

His eyes soften when he noticed my frightened face, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled" placing his forehead on my, as he closed his eyes taking deep breaths

"I have already filed a complaint against him"

"That's not enough. I will ruin his life, his restaurant"

"Many people work there, even my friends. If you do so, they will lose their job" I explained placing my hands on his shoulder hoping he would understand, he looked at me for a while, then backed away little

He pressed his fingers on the tip of his eyes, "you're right"

We didn't speak for a moment, after that he made me sit on the chair giving me a glass of water.

"Remember, I'm always there. Tell me everything that's related to you, every small things. Promise me, you won't hide anything?" He placed his hands on my knees looking deeply into my eyes

"Promise" I bend over to give him a peck on his lips

"Still hungry?"

"Always" I replied

"Why don't you come in?" I asked Charles, as I unlock my apartment's door

"Okay"

Placing the key on the table, I went towards kitchen to drink water while Charles looked around the apartment.

We then walked upstairs to my room, I asked him to wait as I went to change in something comfortable.

As I came back I see him holding a photo frame looking at it with mixed expression. I walked towards him, hugging him from behind. He immediately relaxed under my touch, turning towards me he hugged me back kissing my forehead

"Wanna watch something?"

He just nodded his head. I placed my laptop, asking him what we should watch.

"Anything"

We settled for a walk to remember, as he still hasn't watch this movie.

In middle of the movie, I felt him go tense his heart beating uneven.

When the scene comes where Landon knew about Jamie's leukemia, Charles stood up abruptly making me pause the movie and look at him, confused.

"What happened?"

He didn't answer as he paced around the room.

I stood up, stopping him and making him look into my eyes. His eyes started to get moist but he control the tears to fall.

"Water" he mumbled sitting on the bed

I nodded, grabbing the bottle and pouring some water in glass.

"Here"

I wait for him to calm down, I am really not good in such situation. I get awkward thinking what if I say something wrong, so I just rubbed his hands drawing circles with my thumb.

"What happened Charles?" I asked him

I heard him drew a deep breath, "I don't know where to begin with"

"How about from the start?" I crunched my nose, I told you I'm not good in such situation

He chuckled a little bit hoping for such reply.

"There was this girl in my life" his voice was now serious.

"We were together from childhood, she was my first girlfriend"

There was a pinch in my heart but I ignored it listening to him further

"I loved her, with all my heart. You know the relationship where your girlfriend is your best friend" he smiled his eyes looking at the wall

"5 years ago, she went on a vacation with her friends. Sh-she" he struggles

"Charles you don't have to" I squeezes his shoulder but he shakes his head

"I want to. She asked me to come with her, but my mom was ill. While returning" he closes his eyes, "her car crashed and falls off the bridge"

My eyes widened in horror, as I stay there froze.

"I wish I was there for her. I don't blame myself but I didn't get to see her for the last time" he smiled sadly

"Oh, I'm so sorry" I hugged him tightly as he lifted me up making me sit on his lap

I dug my face on the crook of his neck, softly kissing there.

"Mhmm that feels good"

Pulling myself back, I looked into his eyes which was now back to its normal color.

"I love how the way your eyes changes its color. When you are angry it gets dark almost looks like black and when you're happy or laughing, it gets light blue"

"You notice everything huh? You're obsessed with me Miss Evans" he tease me

"In your dreams, Mr Maxwell"

"In my dreams I see things that you wouldn't want to hear" he laughed

I gasp my mouth hang open, "you pervert"

"I didn't say anything, it's you and your dirty imagination"

"You you what?" He was now laughing uncontrollably

"Wait" I pull myself up from his lap grabbing the pillow

"Don't, you will ruin my hair" he jumped out of bed.

A mischief look appear in my face, as I raise the pillow before it could hit him, I felt the pillow being pulled away and a arms wrapped around my waist, we both fall on my bed laughing hysterically.

"That was-haha" I was laughing nonstop when suddenly I noticed Charles has stopped laughing and now was looking at me with adorableness in his eyes

"What?" I asked smiling

"You have a nice laugh"

"Please. Freya says I laugh like hyena"

"Well she is not wrong" he joked

I pouted, as I looked away he cup my cheeks moving his lips closer and giving me the feeling that I have been so addicted to.

He slowly started to give wet kisses on my jaw, I close my eyes as butterflies flutter in my stomach.

"Mhmmm" I moaned as he started kissing the hollow of my neck, my body is on fire, I grab his face in my hands bring his lips back to my lips.

"Whoa! What's going on?

We jumped apart startled, hearing Freya and Aaron as they stood there at the door looking amuse

My face turned red, not having to speak anything.

"Oli?" She had a teasing smile on her face

"I-we"

"What?" She raised her eyebrows totally enjoying this

I hid my face on the crook of Charles's neck, as everyone chuckled

"You better tell me everything" she said side hugging her boyfriend.

I nodded, now smiling

"We were just going to have dinner. You guys wanna join?" Aaron asked

Charles looked at me, as I nodded at him

"Okay" he replied.
