I was getting ready for the party that everyone was throwing for me. I was released from the hospital this morning and Charles asked me to stay at his place for few days

He's been talking a very good care of me. He knows the timing of my medicine and check up my wounds time to time. He's been so protective in these few days that he barely leaves my side. I remember when the nurse opened the bandage from my face to check the wound there was an ugly scar. I cried for hours and when Charles came to take me home I hide myself inside the blanket crying and yelling at him to go away. I didn't want him to see me. What if see the scar on my face and not want me anymore.

"Olivia, what happened? Look at me, please"

"Just go away" I cried

Just then the nurse entered, "She is scared to show you the scar"

He gently tug the blanket away from my face, cupping my tear streaming face and looking at the scar. He bought his face closer and softly kiss the scar making me cry harder.

"You don't have to hide your scar from me" he said softly

"You don't think I look ugly?" I looked at him with blurry eyes

"No, you are as beautiful as ever"

"No, you are saying that just to make me happy" I turned away from him

"Listen, when I say I love you what it mean is I love you for what you are. Not just the good things but the bad ones too. I am just not in love with your face but in love with the person you are and this scar doesn't change that"

A knock on the door made snap out of my thoughts.

"You ready?" Charles asked as he step inside.

"Yes" I turn around as I looked at him.

"You- you look, wow" he looked at me up and down as he came near me.

I was wearing a turquoise crisscross midi dress. It hid my thigh cuts but small purple bruises in my arms are still visible and of course my face scar

Charles slowly trails his arms on them as he close his eyes, inhaling sharply.

"You too cleaned up well" I said teasingly hoping he would forget about bruises.

"Oh yeah" he asked, his eyes twinkling back as I like. I nodded my head a big smile of my face.

He placed his finger under my chin bringing my face closer as he led a small kiss on my lips.

"We should go downstairs" I whispered, our nose touching.

"Or maybe we could stay here and cuddle" Charles started kissing my neck.

I held his shoulder, "everyone is waiting" in response I heard him groan making me giggle

"Fine" he grabbed my hand as we walked out of the room.

A soft song playing as we walked downstairs, everyone were already there sipping their drinks from their glasses. I told Brandon and Aaron that the party should only have the people I know. A small gathering.

Freya was standing beside Aaron who was holding her with his arms around her. Sarah was on the couch with a bucket of ice cream. Brandon was talking to Pearl while Claudia and Liam look around as if they came to a different world. Joey was on talking on phone, surely talking business. Kevin and some another big dude with beard was laughing about something.

"Finallyy" Brandon said in his loud voice making everyone head snapped towards us.

Freya came and hugged me, "finally you learn some makeup, eh?" Making me chuckle.

Pearl appears as she smiled sweetly at me.

"It's so good to see you again" she kissed my cheeks and hugged.

"It's so good to see you too, Pearl"

"You look beautiful" she patted my cheeks softly and then looked at Charles.

"Mom" he hugged her. Pearl's life is totally depended upon Charles. I can see it.

"I planned this party and I don't even get a hug" Brandon pouted as everyone around him laughed.

I walked towards him wrapping my arms around, "I was saving for the best"

A big grin appears on his face as he looked at Charles, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Dudeeeeee"

"Fuck off Bran" Charles scoff

We all laughed at their childish behavior.

"Glad you're here. I was so worried" Brandon face turned serious as he looked at me.

I smiled at him, he continues "you're like my sister" he kissed my forehead, my eyes getting watery.

"You're too like a brother to me" I softly punch him as we chuckled.

"Guys help me to get up. I am all alone here" Sarah said loudly as we turned our head to look at her.

Brandon ran to help her as she slowly walked towards me giving me a side hug. Her belly now full grown

"Okay now cake cutting" Aaron said as asked everyone to join in the living room.

The living room was decorated with balloons and a big poster was hung saying, "Welcome home" a huge cake was placed in the table.

"I'm already hungry" Sarah said as she looked at the cake.

"Baby you just had a bucket of ice cream" Brandon Chuckled

"So? I'm feeding two person. You don't know how difficult that is" she huffed

Charles looked at them, shaking his head.

Freya handed me the knife, as I started cutting the cake.

"Oh you got to be kidding me" Brandon yelled. I looked up at him, but he was looking other way.

Luke was standing there with a flower bouquet in his hands.

"What the fuck he is doing here?" He marched angrily, Charles face turned red but I put a hand on his shoulder before he could walk

"Brandon wait" I said loudly, Brandon halted in his way and looked at me.

"I invited him"

"Why would you do that?" Charles looked at me with shock in his eyes.

I walked towards Luke, giving him a small smile.

"I know what he did is unforgivable but also look at what he has done for me. Today I'm standing here alive and safe in front of you all is because of Luke. Even when I was in that warehouse he didn't even lay a hand on me instead he help me get free. And may I also add that when I was fighting for my life in hospital, he gave his blood to me. So, if I'm ready to forgive him, you all should too" I looked at everyone who was silently listening to me.

"I think she is right" Charles said as he took a step towards me, "thanks man" he shakes his hand with Luke.

Everyone welcomed Luke while he smiled kindly at them.

We ate, danced and laughed when the clock strike 7, I stood up and walked towards Charles

"Shall we leave for orphanage?" I asked him

"Oh yes. Let me tell everyone that" he gathered everyone's attention, as he slides his arms around my waist.

"Liv wants to say some few words"

Clearing my throat I begin, "first of all I would like to thank you all for throwing this warm welcoming party for me, it really means so much. Let me say this, when I was in that hell place and when I thought I was going to die" Charles squeezes my hand softly as I continued, "It strike me that day, our life is so short and unpredictable. You never know when it will be your last day. So I want to make every single moment count and I am glad that you guys will be on it"

Everyone claps as I hugged Charles tightly.

"You made me emotions" Brandon wipes up his fake tears.

"Okay okay. Now Liv and I have to leave. We have to go to the orphanage"

We walked towards Charles car when Kevin and the same guy from before approached.

"Hey Kevin" I smiled at him

"How are you now?" Kevin asked

"Better"

"Now I know why you were so freakin out about her. She is one hell of a woman" the guy with the beard said

Charles glare at him, "Olivia this is Robert, he helped us finding you"

"And still haven't got paid" Robert interjected

"You will get it. Kevin take care of it"

"And thank you Mr Robert" I gave him a small smile

"You called me a mister. She called me a mister" Robert looked at Kevin funnily

I crunched my eyes and looked at Charles, he shakes his head and opened the door for me.

"Don't mind him" he said once he settled himself on driver seat.

"I'm so excited to meet Mrs Williams and Lily and all those kids" I clap my hands like a child making Charles chuckled

We reach the place as I saw children running towards us. They might have heard us coming.

"Oli"

"We missed you Oli

"Why haven't you visited us for so long?"

"Did you bring cupcakes for us?"

They started saying and asking questions as I smiled at them

"Awwww I miss you all too" i hugged them.

"Go now give the same hug to that man. He needs it" I slowly whispered as all the children ran and jumped on Charles, for hug.

"Wha-" Charles was caught by surprise as children tackled him with their hugs.

I laughed looking at his face.

"Oh my god", "you-your face" I laughed

I felt a hand on my shoulder as I turned around still laughing.

"Mrs Williams" I stopped laughing as my eyes tears up. I hugged her tightly, "I missed you"

"I missed you too child. Why haven't you called? What happened to your face?" she gasp in shock

"I- I" I stammered, "can we go to your office?" I asked her. She nodded her head as I called Charles.

We walked to her office as we took our seat. I stayed silent for a while as Mrs Williams kept looking at me and Charles.

I grabbed Charles hands, and started explaining everything to her.

By the time I was done, I was crying and Mrs Williams got up from her seat and took me into her arms.

"God, I'm so thankful to the almighty. You're safe. You're safe" she runs my back.

"Yes ma. I'm safe"
