"I think I might be in love."

Okay, this type of conversation is definitely something I should not eavesdrop on, considering the fact that I'm in a novel world where 99.9% chances are that I might get caught.

But you know what, fuck it.

"Oh wow, never thought we would find our Empress so soon." Caiden joked.

I was currently in the library, minding my own business (well, was) when Caiden and Raashid suddenly came over to the other side of the bookshelf, trying to find a quite a corner cause apparently, Raashid had some 'important' thing to discuss. None of us could see the other but I could hear them.

I decided to bring Seanna over to the library because I wanted to make her a part of our 'fujoshi club' so, Serina, Seanna and I could fangirl together.

Seanna was surprisingly very good at socialising and she totally hit it off with Serina. So when they were conversing about mages, I walked over to a shelf to grab a nice book when I heard these to kids talking about 'love'.

"So I need your help-" Raashid started but was cut off by Caiden, "Do I know her?" He asked, excitement clear in his voice.

"Yes, you do." Replied Raashid and I started thinking he was talking about Seanna.

Oh my God!!! He is in love with her!! Yess!! My ship's sailing!!! Wooohoooo!

But I still didn't let my thoughts get too ahead of myself. It literally could be any girl (It better not be though).

"How does she look? Is she nice?" Caiden asked again.

I could imagine Raashid blushing as he said, "She is pretty with these black hair... And she is amazing at keeping a conversation lively.... and funny."

That's definitely Seanna.

"What's her eye colour?"

"That's it. I'm not telling you anything more. Or you might guess who I am talking about." Raashid said with finality.

"And why do you not want me to guess?" Caiden asked.

"Who knows what you'll do to embarrass me in front of her."

"Like how you and Mari embarrass me in front of Mackenzie? Honestly, the last time she was in the palace you guys were giving me and her thumbs up and told us 'to keep it down'."

I almost snorted.

Now that I think about it, Caiden's character was that of a playboy, just a lot nicer and naive.

Girls kept swarming around him and when he was openly keeping a lover a few years back (with some girl who happened to ask him out first), other girls started crying whenever they saw them together (that's so weird but at least they didn't try to kill the girl) and Caiden felt sad that he was hurting people's feeling. So he broke up with her and stopped keeping lovers for a while. Then came the trend of secret lovers.

So Caiden kept plenty of secret lovers, till they were discovered and he broke up with them to not hurt people's feelings.

"That was Mari's idea, I just contributed." Raashid said and I imagined him smirking.

Caiden huffed and then asked, "So what do you need help for?"

"I just wanted to ask that.... How do you confirm it?" Raashid asked, a hint of shyness in his voice.

"Confirm what?"

I rolled my eyes.

"....confirm my feelings...that I actually love her." His voice was barely above a whisper.

"Kiss her."

I mentally facepalmed. This kid is dumb. If you just go and kiss a girl she'll probably slap you.

"What the.....wouldn't she slap me if I suddenly do something like that?" Raashid asked, sharing the same thoughts as me.

"Well, I don't know about that. Nobody ever slapped me.", Caiden said.

Figures. Even I wouldn't slap Caiden if he suddenly did something like that. Maybe smack him upside his head and explain him to not do that, but not slap him.

"Oh wait. Mari did say something like 'you need to be good at kissing for her to not slap you'." Caiden said.

"You discuss these things with Mari and he actually gives you advice?" Raashid asked incredulously.

"Sometimes."

There was a pause for a few seconds before Raashid asked, "How do I become good at kissing?"

What the....he is actually considering his dumb advice? Well, I don't really mind if he kisses Seanna cause she definitely won't slap him. According to the novel, she was already in love with him after their second secret meeting.

"Well, practice makes you perfect."

"What do I practice on?"

"I don't know. I practiced on Mr. Dusty."

I almost knocked down the bookshelf.

"WHAT?!" Both Raashid and I shouted in unison. Then I slapped my hand on my mouth. Shit! I'm gonna get caught!

But besides that....I made a huge discovery! Caiden...my cute innocent baby... I'm SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Yess!! Caiden X Mr. Dusty, that's my new ship.

"Why did you sound like a girl just now?" Caiden asked.

"That's not important right now!! Why would you go around kissing boys for practice?!" Raashid exclaimed. Totally ignoring the fact that he 'just sounded like a girl'.

"I didn't kiss a boy." Caiden said, defensively.

Of course. You kissed M-i-s-t-e-r Dusty who happens to be a girl. Right. How very stupid of us to think it was a boy.

"Oh of course!" Raashid said sarcastically.

Then I started wondering who was the top.

Caiden has the personality of a bottom. Innocent and childlike. However, his body is anything but a bottom. Unless Mr. Dusty has a bigger....

"It was your teddy bear."

Huh....come again?

"Oh thank God!" Raashid sighed in relief while I was standing there, letting the fact that my new ship had already sunk to go in my brain, "Wait... But I don't own a teddy bear?"

"Yes, you do."

Yes, he does. In Adailia's memories, after she killed Raashid's dog, (why would she kill his dog?! Uggh!) Baby Raashid was traumatised. He had locked himself in his room for a few days and the Emperor had to step in and order Adailia to not see him for a month. After that, I think Caiden and Mari brought him a teddy bear as a replacement for the dead dog. He kept it with him for a while before he matured up and it was kept somewhere in his personal attic.

But wait.... Why do I know this much detail? Of course...Cause in Adailia's memories, she still managed to sneak in the heavily guarded palace during that month and saw Raashid without him noticing her (stalking skills at it's best since age four).

"Uhhh....so you practiced on my teddy bear... Okay. But what do I practice on?" Raashid asked, comparatively calm.

"Pillow.. maybe?"

"Hmmm.... Fine. And listen, don't you dare tell Mari. That guy is too smart. He'll guess in an instant who I'm talking about." Raashid said threateningly.

"And you think I can't?" Caiden countered.

Of course not.

"Of course not. You can't guess her even if I'm throwing obvious hints-" "Adailia!" Raashid was cut off when a high pitched voice shouted my name, probably looking for me. She was coming from the other side of the shelf from where she would see Raashid and Caiden first.

"Oh, I'm sorry your highness, I didn't notice you were here." She said and I heard footsteps crossing the bookshelf, and then I saw Seanna.

I quickly kept my index finger on my lips telling her to shut up when she opened her mouth. Then I waved my hand for her to keep moving.

She looked confused and then it clicked her that I was hiding. But then her face saddened.

Wait....does she thinking I'm stalking him? Is that why she is sad?

After she left I quickly tiptoed behind her and when I was sure that nobody would make out that I came from behind that bookshelf, I called Seanna.

"Seanna look," I said, quickly catching up to her, "I was not stalking him, alright. I was just getting a book when he appeared on the other end and I didn't want to disturb him so I kept silent. And I shooed you away cause it would've created a misunderstanding if his highness knew I was there the whole time. He would've thought I was -", " Its alright Adailia, I understand." Seanna cut off my rambling with a smile and I smiled back.

Then after picking up a few books, we left.

"I don't understand! How can a book be that awesome?!" Seanna exclaimed.

"I know how you feel. When I first read it I was like 'wow!'." I said.

Seanna was officially a part of our 'fujoshi club' and we were talking about the latest book she read in the flower garden made especially for outside gathering and tea parties.

"Pinky! Sea!" A small voice came and I turned to see a smiling Choco in a cute fluffy blue dress running towards us.

Cuteness overload.

Choco was smiling almost all the time when she is with us for the past month which made me happy.

"What you talkin bout?" She asked.

"Nothing. Are you hungry?" I asked her, helping her sit up on the chair.

She nodded and I told Elsa (the maid) to bring in all types of snacks.

Soon she brought pastries, muffins, fruits and all other stuff and placed it on the table.

"So I told Serina that I wanted to get a mage's doctor degree and she said she had the same goal till-", "Serina is a mage?" I cut Seanna off. That was news for me.

"You didn't know?" She asked.

"No, like she never mentioned it nor did I asked." I said. I thought she was a normal lady like me.

"What do you ladies talk about then?" She asked.

"Books." I smirked and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Choco struggling to get a cake which was out of her reach.

I lifted my hand to pass it to her when the plate flew at a surprising speed and ended up in Choco's hand.

I gasped.

What the hell just happened?
