"Do I get the lady's name or.. " Hayden said, snapping me out of my daze, "should I just call you darling~?" he said smirking as I blinked before bowing down, "Adailia de Perinius. Pleasure meeting you, your highness."

"Oh please call me Hayden." Hayden said before winking as I stared at him with a blank face.

I knew he was madly in love with Adailia but isn't it going a bit too fast? Like we literally just met a minute ago and he is already here giving me bedroom eyes.

What's the problem though?

My conscience told me,

He would be madly in love with Adailia sooner or later. You should probably just go with the flow if you want to end up with this hot piece of a man.

Uh-huh. Correction. Hot piece of a child. The guy is still young and if I made a move on him, I'll again feel like a pedophile.

Well, the child will become a man sometime in his life.

"Umm... Lord Wynknight, I hope you enjoy your stay in Ob-", "Hayden. Call me Hayden." Hayden said, suddenly getting all close to my face.

Before I could say anything about how he was invading my personal space, I heard someone coughing very loudly in an obviously fake manner.

I turned my head to see Father coughing very loudly as Aiden was rubbing his back.

"Adailia, I think I'm dying." Father said coughing, as Aiden faked a shocked expression, "No! Father! Adailia, let's get him to the nurse!" He said before supporting father and giving Hayden a 'stay away from my sister' eyes.

I nodded, thankful for their intervention, "Umm." I looked back at Hayden who was smirking at me with amused eyes, "Later, Lord Wynknight." I bowed and he said, "Later Sweetheart." And winked at me before I left for one of the gardens in the palace with Father and Aiden.

"Ahh! I wanna gouge his eyes out with my pen!" Aiden said frustratedly as father straightened up as soon as we were out of Hayden's view. "And I wanna chop his tongue off, with the rest of his body and feed it to the fishes in our pond." He said as a vein in his forehead popped.

I snorted.

Once you get past the fact that they can actually to that, listening to their threats is damn funny.

"You old man!" Mother suddenly came from behind us and slapped father's back, "From all the time you could've chosen to die! How can you do that to her!?! Adailia was finally getting a chance to enjoy her life!"

Father winced and Aiden glared at mother, "'Getting a chance to enjoy her life' ?! Mother please! That guy was just trying to get together with her in a room and then break her heart the next morning!", he said.

"How can you say that? You don't know anything about him! What if he was genuinely interested in Adailia and just wanted to get to know her?" Mother retorted.

"He is from the West Kingdom, honey. The WEST!", Father exclaimed, "Royals over there are allowed to have as many concubines as they wish. Both, the King and the Queen of the west have over ten concubines! I'm not sending my daughter to that place!"

"But still! Adailia needs to enjoy her youth, keep plenty of lovers. It's about time that she tries a variety of... things out!" Mother said as I rolled my eyes. She wanted to say 'tries a variety of men out' but refrained when father gave her a death glare.

"Adailia, " Aiden said, "Go switch places with Seanna. She told me she was helping Caiden with his work. I really think I'm going to lose it if I see another bastard looking at you as if you're a piece of meat."

"What?! No Lia do-", "Yes. Listen to your brother. Go quickly. And tell Seanna we are at the front gate greeting few last guests." Father added cutting mother off as I nodded and went where father told me.

However, I never found Seanna.

She wasn't with Caiden. He said he didn't see her the entire day.

So I just started making my way back to the front gate where I found Hayden talking to Olivia, standing close to her with his hand on her waist, whispering in her ear.

Wha....? Are they....?

My suspicions were correct when Olivia blushed before smiling seductively at him.

So they are flirting. I thought he fell in love with me at first sight or something like that. Well, at least now I know he is like that with everyone.

His eyes met mine as he instantly left Olivia (making her glare at me) and made his way towards me, smiling, "And the most charming Lady is back!"

He really flirts a lot.

"Lord Wynknight, please stop-", "I told you to call me Hayden. Didn't I?" He asked again, coming too close for my comfort.

Why should I do what you're telling me to do when you don't even listen to me, you flirty little hormone-crazed teenager!?

"Or are you just shy? Calling me by my name in front of everyone?" He asked.

What is he saying now?!

"Or do you prefer.." He whispered leaning close to my ear, "to call me that in my bedroom?" He purred and I scrambled away from him making him chuckle.

Excuse me?! Isn't he a bit too much?!

"Hayden Wynknight." Raashid's authoritative voice came from behind me as I turned to look at his tall frame.

"Raashid de Alger Obelia." Hayden said in the same authoritative voice before bowing a slight bit and greeting him, "Long time no see."

"Yes." Raashid said before his eyes trailed on me, "May I ask what you want with Lady Perinius?"

"We were just exchanging mere greetings." Hayden replied before smiling at me.

I smiled politely before saying, "Yes. I hope Lord Wynknight has a pleasant stay in Obelia." I said before regretfully adding "Please do tell me if you feel uncomfortable during your stay here."

I had to say that. The Perinius and D'Elia family were the one hosting and in charge of the well being of the international guest. We had to make them comfortable.

"Of course, lady Adailia." Hayden smiled before I excused myself and left with Raashid back to the front gate.

"All the guests have arrived. You can go back to your mansion if you wish." He said and I nodded before bidding him goodbye and leaving for the mansion.

I found Seanna sleeping inside the carriage, so I didn't wake her up to question where she was all day.

"Ajhussi, do you know who Hayden Wynknight is in the novel?" I asked as soon as he appeared. I called him after reaching home. I wanted to confirm that he actually is a villain. Who knows if I again messed up the characters of this story with the others or some shit like that.

He raises his eyebrows, "Isn't that the guy who fought the war with Obelia Empire after Adailia died?"

"What?!" I almost shouted, "I thought he was only in love with her. And wasn't father the one who initiated the war?"

"Both of them, actually. Hayden was sooo in love with Adailia that's why he did what he did." Ajhussi said and I raised my eyebrows wanting him to explain further, "The guy was in love with Adailia and when the original Raashid killed her. For revenge, he sent his army on Obelia." He explained.

I made an 'o' shape with my mouth, "It explains why the war was so devastating. Father doesn't have many troops in control, probably just enough to ruin two cities but not as big as an empire." I said and he nodded, "Raashid wasn't stupid. He knew the possibility of killing a noblewoman and Archduke's daughter at that, can lead to a war with the Archduke. But he thought he could've managed since Obelia's army under his control is humongous, however- ", "- he didn't think Hayden would revolt." I finished for him, before frowning, "But isn't Hayden the second prince? Does he have that much authority over the Western army? How can he take such a big step against Obelia when they've been allies for a long time." I asked. I've read the book which gave information regarding the neighbouring empires of Obelia and it was clear that West kingdom and Obelia have been allies for over a century.

Ajhussi smirked, "He killed his father, the current king and his stepbrother, the first prince to get to the throne." He said and my jaw dropped to the floor. He continued, "Because of Adailia's death, Hayden and Archduke both revolted against Obelia, which was unexpected. This war caused destruction to both, the Obelia empire and the West Kingdom."

I knew Hayden was a bit messed up in the head by his behaviour earlier (like who in their right mind would love Adailia). But to go to such extreme measures for revenge is just absurd.

"In short.." He started, "That stupid obsessive dog killing bitch's death ruined two motherfucking Empires! Wow!" I finished, placing my hand on my forehead, "Just Wow!"

Ajhussi smirked and disappeared leaving me to 'wow' the rest of the day to myself.

"Oh~, You're pretty today as well." Hayden commented when I entered my classroom for the first period.

I refrained from rolling my eyes at him.

The guy was allowed inside the Academy since he was the only guest who was at the school-going age and he was also missing one month's worth education while staying here. So well, he was given permission to attend the Royal Academy till his stay here.

And the guy somehow managed to persuade the Principal to keep him in the same classes as me, so that I could 'help' him accommodate things.

And he somehow also managed to get a seat beside me when Raashid had to leave for some urgent matters.

I sat down and he took my hand making me flinch and stare at him with a questioning look, "You're really pretty." He said, kissing my hand.

"Well, you're handsome yourself." I complimented him as my hand squirmed uncomfortably under his.

I know he loves me, or will in the future, but this still a bit too much and too fast. He still a kid. But I don't really want to change the flow of story any more than I already did by befriending Raashid. So I'm just going to tag along with him for now.

The next period was free so Hayden and I were just chattering in the library inside the Academy. Well, he was chattering, I wouldn't dare open my mouth in a library.

"Ahh, you look so fine reading a book. It gives you that classic look." He said with his head in his hand, leaning against the window sill while I read a book on the table. On the same table somewhere far away sat Mari, Caiden and Raashid, who was, for some unknown reason, frowning and whispering things to Mari.

I kind of got annoyed by Hayden disturbing me while reading a book, so I decided to pick a more engrossing book which would automatically mute his voice from my head.

As I got up, Hayden tried to get close to me, but before he could invade my personal space, he suddenly slipped and fell backwards on his butt while letting out a girly squeak.

I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing but then I noticed blue water on the ground making my head snap towards the trio. Mari and Raashid were snickering first but the second they noticed my gaze they started pretending they were very much into the book in front of them.

While Caiden just laughed.

"Oh my God! Mari that was so funny!" He cracked up as Mari slapped his back to stop him from laughing, while Raashid hissed, "Ugh! He's giving us away!" He actually said that in a very quiet voice but it's a library so everyone could hear him.

I turned my head to see Hayden glaring at them (still on the ground) but when he noticed my gaze he quickly posed as if saying, 'draw me like one of your French girls' and smirked, "Looks like I'm already falling for you~"

Cha cha real smooth.

I chuckled, "Yeah. You're falling very hard. I think I heard your butt crack."

He laughed before I helped him up on his feet as he threw a last glare at the trio before exiting the library.

The halls were really busy as I was making my way towards the lunch table. Actually just yesterday, every noble got an invitation for the royal feast in the palace as a welcoming ceremony for the guests from other empires and kingdoms. It is deemed to take place two days later. We were supposed to bring a partner with us so all the girls and boys were chattering about who they would take.

I decided to ask Caiden but then I saw the crowd of girls in front of him and changed my path to ask Mari but it wasn't like his situation was any different.

"Leave me alone!!! I'm not going to the feast! Let me go!" He screamed as he was surrounded by a mob of very aggressive girls. I threw him a pitiful look before walking down the hallway. At the end of the hallway I saw Raashid making his way towards me, his face looking determined.

Nobody probably asked him and I would've asked him if he weren't reserved for Seanna.

As I walked towards him across the long corridor, Hayden popped out of the music room, "Have you invited anyone yet?" He asked.

"No" I replied, stopping in front of him.

"Oh thank God! I thought I was the only one who didn't ask anyone." He said as his eyes dimmed, "Actually, I don't know anyone I could ask. Its all really new for me..."

This kid is acting. I can just see it. He is trying to get me to ask him first.

But then again, it's not a bad idea to ask him for a simple dinner. Everyone is going to go with someone, I wouldn't want to be left out.

"Do you want to go to the feast together?" I asked him as his eyes shined instantly and he hugged me before saying, "Thank you, Lia! I would love to accompany you! " he bowed prince like before returning back to the music room and I heard a small click and then muffled voices.

Did he lock the door? And is someone inside with him?

I mentally shrugged, knowing it wasn't my business before looking in front of me to see Raashid standing there with a blank expression.

"Do you want something Raashid?" I asked and he looked snapped out of his trance as he stared at me with an unreadable expression.

"Actually, yes." He said, "I want to ask you something...."

"Well, what do you want to ask?"

"I wanted to ask you..." He paused as his eyes shined with something unreadable (I can't read people's eyes), "IfyouknewwhereSeannawassoIcouldaskhertoaccompanymeforthefeast"
