Alessandro's Pov

A few hours later I entered mine and Kate's room, she was still sleeping. I went near her and stroked her sleeping face. It was all I ever wanted, my baby Kate with me safe and sound. I saw her stir and she slowly opened her eyes.

" Finally waking up from your nap little sleepyhead. It's time for dinner. Let's go." I cooed at her and leaned down and kissed her nose, only for her to whimper.

" Aww, little love why are you crying, are you still sleepy? You can sleep later. Let's go now." I said softly and wiped her tears and picked her up from under her arms and put my other hand under her butt and started walking downstairs with her weakly squirming.

All of the family was waiting for us including Stella, who was on Valentino's lap and she just like Kate was trying to get out of his grip. As soon as Kate noticed Stella, she was struggling even more and I gave her a firm gaze and she stopped squirming. I sat down with Kate on my lap, she was still sniffing and squirming a bit. Maybe I should haven't brought her downstairs for dinner. She is obviously cranky. I rubbed her back and whispered in her ear " as soon as we finish dinner. I"ll take you back to our room and you can sleep, ok baby"

" Hey twinnie, did you had a good nap?" I heard Leonardo ask as he scooted closer to us. Kate didn't reply. I looked at him and replied for her " She is a bit cranky. I think I woke her up early"

" She needs her sleep, she had a big day tomorrow," Aunty said with a smile. I gave her a small smile and nodded in agreement. Uncle signalled the maid and she served the dinner. " You people are crazy, how can you act so casually after all the shit you have done?" Stella yelled as she threw a spatula at me which I wasn't unfortunately able to catch in time. It hit my forehead hard before it fell to the ground. I held kate with one arm, while I rubbed the sore spot on my forehead and glared at Stella who now looked terrified. She should be thankful that she is Valentino's fiancee otherwise she would have been dead.

" Valentino control your fiance. My kate could have been hurt because of her. I am letting her off the hook this time but I won't tolerate it next time." I said still glaring at Stella. I looked down at Kate to make sure she was fine and she had a shocked expression on her face. She opened her mouth to say something but I just put a spoonful of pasta in her mouth and before she could spit it out I put my hand on her mouth so she couldn't do it. She couldn't do much except chew. It was one of the side effects of the sedatives that she will be weak for few hours unless I gave her the antidote. But why would I? When I can have her depend on me and not fight me, even if it's for a few hours.

" Stella apologise to everyone right now " I heard Valentino say to her in a sharp voice. " I am sorry everyone," Stella said in a small voice. " Like Alessandro said we are letting this matter go this time. But don't do something like this again" Francisco said. " I am sure she won't after I have taught her a lesson," Valentino said. No one said anything as it is their personal matter.

After dinner, I picked Kate up and carried her to the living room. As we had to discuss some things about the wedding. Valentino told us he will see us in the morning and kissed Kate's forehead before leaving and went to his room with Stella. Kate was now energetic than before as the side effects of the drugs had now almost worn off. But still not enough for her to fight back and yell at us.

I sat Kate on the couch and got on my knees and hugged her waist and buried my face in her chest and said " Baby I have to discuss a few things with you about our marriage. Will you behave and be a good girl for me?" She nodded her head and muttered a yes.

" Good girl. Now, first of all, we are getting married the day after tomorrow. Now I want you to select some decorations for our wedding, my ring and jewellery and all that stuff. You can choose your dress and my suit tomorrow. Okay?" I explained to her in a gentle voice.

" Alessandro, why are you doing this? You know that I don't love you and will never be able to. Even if we both get married none of us will be happy. I can't forget what you did to me and what you are doing to me or my friends." Kate said and I took a deep breath to calm myself and nuzzled in her chest and hugged her more tightly.

" Why are you lying, sweetie? Don't you remember that you wrote in your letter that I am your first love huh? And what I did in the past was a mistake and you will see in the future that you are happy with me and your family. And what I am doing now is for your good. Now be a good fiancee and help me with the stuff" I said as I removed my arms from her waist and pushed her on the couch before straddling her and cupped her cheeks and rubbed my nose with hers.

" Alessandro yes, I wrote in the letter that you were my first love but not anymore and what I felt for you was, not love. In fact, I never loved you. It was just a silly teenage crush. An attraction nothing else. And what you are doing isn't for my good it is for your selfish desires. You have never done anything but hurt me." Kate spoke and it hurts me that my love thinks that I don't care about her. Her each word pains my heart. She is just saying this to hurt me. Yes, it's all because I punished her today. She is just having a fit.

" Kate baby I know that you are mad at me because I punished you but I had to. Now don't lie like that little love. We both know that you love me. Let's make a deal ok? If you marry me willingly I will let your friends go except Stella. It's Valentino's decision if he wants to let her go or not. And it's your choice to either marry me willingly or forcefully. Either way, you will marry me and be mine" I said calmly and got off her.

I grabbed the iPad that was on the table and gave it to Kate and said " Here I have all the pictures we need. Just select them and save them in the folder I will see them in the morning and sort them out. It's 9:00 p.m right now so you can sort it out by 11 p.m. Rest we will do it in the morning"

There was silence for a few moments before we heard a scream from upstairs. Kate looked at me before she started running upstairs. " Kate don't run you will get hurt" I shouted as I ran behind her. Kate looked around before she stopped in front of Valentino's door and started knocking on it while shouting to open the door.

Valentino came out of the room only in his boxers and locked it and said: " Pumpkin what happened? Did you need anything?". Kate didn't reply but instead tried to shove Valentino out of the way but of course, it didn't affect him. " Where is Stella? I heard her scream," Kate said still trying to push Valentino but he just looked at her and said " Sis you must be hearing things Stella didn't scream. I"ll let you meet her in the morning and didn't you have to discuss stuff with Sandro why don't you do that."

He looked at me and I got the sign and went to Kate and whispered in her ear " Let's go back down. You can meet her in the morning. We still have some work. C'mon let's go"

" I want to check up on Stella before I go back," Kate said. Both Kate and Valentino were having a staring compete before Valentino said" you are a stubborn little girl. See your Stella is fine" He opened the door revealing a sleeping Stella wearing his hoodie.

" Let's go now that you have seen she is fine," I said and started walking down holding her wrist. I could feel she was trying to get out of my hold but I didn't let her.

A few hours later, we were finished choosing the stuff and I already made arrangements for them to be delivered by tomorrow. Kate didn't help much to choose the items she just nodded her head or muttered an okay when I showed her a pic of something.

" Let's go sleep now," I said to Kate who was staring at the wall. I picked her up and went to our room and laid her on the bed. I laid beside her and wrapped my arms around her and whispered in her ear " Goodnight baby. I love you" and kissed her forehead before I fell asleep.

After I explained to Cillian that I will be gone for some days I went to the base where my brothers were preparing our mafia members and the weapons.

" Vlad there is good news. We can take off in two hours and reach the island by tomorrow afternoon" My twin brother Yakim said. ( Kate was very close to me and Yakim when we were little.

" Boss should I tell the other members that we will fly in about two hours," Eros asked who is Yakim's fiance and Thaila's older brother.

" Eros I have told you before don't need to call me boss and yes please tell them that we will take off in two hours," I spoke as I made my way to my office with them following behind me and giving me the details.

I entered my office and took out my special weapons. I put my knives, guns, daggers and some other weapons while still talking with Eros and Yakim.

After about an hour we headed to the airport that includes Eros, Yakim, Maksim ( Vlad's second-oldest brother). I told Dimitri and Thaila to stay back just in case. When I boarded the flight I had only one thought in my mind ' Your countdown starts now Alessandro'

" Capo " A man shouted as he bragged into the bedroom where Kate and Alessandro were.

" What?" Alessandro yelled standing in front of Kate.

" Capo Russian's are attacking," He said

" Go and inform the Gonzalez and tell them to call our allies and the backup" Alessandro yelled and the man ran out of the room.

Alessandro grabbed Katelyn's wrist and opened one of the drawers of his nightstand revealing some books. He took the books out and pressed the red button which was hidden. The wall split into two parts revealing a hallway and Alessandro dragged her inside before the walls joined again when he pressed his thumb against the sensor on one of the walls inside the secret hallway.

" Baby you stay here, I need to go right now," He said as he gently pushed Kate into one of the bedrooms.

" Don't leave me here " Kate yelled but Alessandro had already locked the door and grabbed his weapons from another room and headed outside.

Outside Vladimir, Yakim, Maksim and Eros were ruthlessly fighting and killing the Italians and Spanish mafia members.

Valentino and Enric were shooting and snapping the necks of Russians. Yakim was surrounded by Valentino and Enric and Enric was about to shoot him but before he could Eros punched his stomach hard and now Eros and Yakim were fighting Valentino and Enric.

Maksim was slitting the throats of Russians with one hand while shooting with the other. Leonardo kicked Maksim from behind and he fell to the ground and Leonardo started throwing punches. Maksim and Leonardo were fighting each other ruthlessly.

When Vladimir was busy shooting one of his men came near him and said " Boss, ma'am's friend have been sent to the jet".

Vladimir nodded his head and said

" And where is Kate? Find her quickly and when you do send her to the jet too". The man nodded his head and went away.

" Vladimir you did a big mistake to come into my territory," Alessandro said as Vladimir lunged towards and both started fighting.

Spanish and Italian mafias were soon joined by the English mafia. But the good news was that the Russian and Greek mafia had killed almost half of the Spanish and Italians.

Now there were only a few men and women left along with the Gonzalez brothers, Alessandro, Vladimir, Eros and Kozlov brothers. It didn't take long for Kozlov's and Eros to win against Alessandro and Gonzalez brothers.

Kate had already reached the jet safely. Nicholas and Sierra were tied and thrown in the storeroom of the jet. Vladimir, Eros, Yakim and Maksim too went to the jet with knocked or barely awake Gonzalez brothers and Alessandro.
