Hannah's POV
I swiftly placed my palm on my mouth. His eyes widened at my words.
Me and my stupid mouth.
" I don't hurt you." His soft words tumbled from his lips as I looked at him, speculating my next words.
" You have hurt me every single day in our ten months. Just because I don't show it, does not mean that I am not hurt." I whispered loud enough for him to hear.
" I...I didn't know..." He stuttered. " The one who hurts others will never know how deeply their words or actions hurt the victim," I replied, trying to shift away from his hands.
" I have work. You do too. Is there anything else?" I asked, tugging his hands from my waist. He tightened his hands on my waist and pulled me close to him.
My back soon was against his car as he leaned in close. " I just realized that this is the first time you have called me Daniel in our ten months." He whispered, his lips almost touching mine.
The racing of my heartbeat soon became evident. " What are you doing?" I asked him, trying to see if Joseph was looking at us.
" I am going to kiss you." He replied before gently crashing his lips onto mine, slowly kissing me.
My eyes shut close and I let him kiss me. " Kiss me," He whispered, his lips moving against mine.
I've never kissed anyone. How do I do it?
" Kiss me back, Hannah." He whispered once again. I parted my lips as my tongue swiped across his lower lips.
" Hannah," He groaned, earning a hum from me. My palms pressed into his shoulders, unaware of my surroundings.
He pulled back just as slowly as he had pressed his lips against mine, gazing at me for any reaction.
As my eyelids pulled back, I kept my eyes down embarrassed to be kissing him in front of Joseph.
" Are you still hurt?" He smiled, getting my heart racing once again.
" I...I am going to go. See you!" I replied before pushing him away from me and running back to my car and sliding in.

I could feel Joseph's eyes on me, trying to get me to speak. I started the car for the third time that day.
The White Mercedes moves away and drove away. I pulled into the familiar road remembering the times Matt drive me to work.
" You freaking kissed him without screaming or feeling scared! Isn't that progress?!" Joseph loud voice startled me.
" I don't know!" I replied to him, shrugging my shoulders as I continued to drive. I finally parked outside the hospital and turned the engine off.
" We are going out for lunch right?" Joseph asked, unbuckling his seatbelt. " It's not like I have a choice, do I?" I replied before getting out of the car.

That evening
After explaining all that had happened between me and him, Joseph seemed content with the latest news he had received.
But my mind was filled with the memory of the kiss whenever my mind slips out of reality. I would feel how his lips felt against mine and touch my lips.
Soon my shift ended and Joseph said that he did not want a ride back home. Holding my bag in one hand, I fished out for my car keys as I walked to my car.
Finally finding the keys, I unlocked my car and opened the door. But it was shut close by a very large hand. My eyes widened in shock.
" Hey sweetheart," The person behind me greeted as I jumped at his greeting. " Turn around for me, darling," He ordered, holding my hips and turned me around.
It's the guy from the bar!
I gulped as his words ringed in my head.
If not, I will hunt you down, beautiful. Don't underestimate me.
" It seems like you remember our last conversation, darling," He whispered, pulling me close to him. I tried to push him away, only to have him press himself more on me.
" Stay away from me!" I shouted, hoping to faze him. " Now why should I when there is such a beautiful lady in my grasp?" He whispered once more, his breath fanning my ears.

" Don't touch me!" I hit his shoulder as hard as I could but he didn't seem to be affected. He started to kiss my neck, slowly moving towards my chin.
Memories from eight years ago started to cloud my head, horrible memories of horrible feelings.
Tears started to slide down my cheek. " Please stop," I begged him, defenseless as eight years ago.
He pulled away and noticed me crying. " Now sweetheart, I know you enjoyed it as much as I did. Now run along, I will follow you back home to make sure you reached home safe." He rubbed my head and opened the car door.
I immediately got in and closed the door after me. I turned the engine on and started driving towards the mansion. I could see a grey car following me from the back view mirror.
I continued to cry as much as I could because I knew I won't be able to do so at the mansion.
I parked the car and exited, cautiously turning around to see the grey car parked on the side of the street. The mirror of the car went down and revealed his face.
He blew me a kiss gazing at me deeply. I wiped my eyes and face to make sure the waterworks had stopped. I ran to the door and pushed it open. I quickly shut it close and leaned my back against it trying to breathe properly.
" Oh my, dear are you ok?"
My eyes flew open as I gazed at his mother and father. " Mum, Dad!" I whispered as I fixed my posture.
" Are you ok, Hannah? You seemed breathless." Mum asked, walking towards me. I nodded, indicating that I am fine.
" T...there was a d...dog. I...it was scary, t...that's all," I assured them, wiping my eyes. " Oh, well I just came by to see how the both of you have been." Mum clarified. I nodded once again.
" Why don't you freshen up and we can have some dinner, Hannah?" Dad suggested gazing at me with worry. " I will be down in a while," I replied before hurrying into his room.
They can't get suspicious, can they?
I leaned against the door, trying to slow my breathing. I walked to his bed and sat down, trying not to fall over.
The tears started once again as I knew that I will never be freed. The sound of the door handle turning startled me. I wiped my eyes and rested my head in my palms.
" Hannah, are you sure you are alright? Did something happen?" Daniel's voice enveloped me as I nodded. " I am fine, there's nothing wrong," I assured once again.
I could hear some movement and I looked up to see him crouched in front of me. " Hannah, tell me what's wrong. You know you can tell me anything, right?" His voice almost soothed me.
But the unwanted memories returned. I tried to blink my tears away. " I can't..." My voice felt strained.
" You can, I will help you with anything. Trust me, Hannah," He asked, holding my shaking hands.
" I do, I trust you, but you won't believe me," I replied, trying to think of his next question.
" Come on, wash your face. You will feel much better," Daniel suggested. I nodded hesitantly, looking up at him.
I sent him a small smile before walking into the bathroom. I washed my face and wiped my face with the face towel hung on the railing.
I tied my hair into a French braid and walked out to see Daniel sitting on the bed, in deep thought. " We can go now," I said, getting his attention. We walked out of his bedroom and down to the dining table.
I help to set the table with the helpers and placed the food on the table. Daniel brought his parents and had them to sit. We started to have dinner, having small conversations.
But a question thrown at me caught me off guard.
" Are you pregnant, Hannah?"
