Laura pov.

''Hey.'' Molly said when I opened my eyes. I gave her a smile and looked around.

I was on the couch with Jack and Emma next to me. Dylan was sleeping next to Emma and Luke was nowhere to be seen. Molly was sitting next to Jack and watching the TV.

''How are you?'' Molly asked me.

''I'm good. You?'' I asked and she smiled,'' How long have you been up? And where is Luke?''

''I woke up about 30min ago. Luke went to the pack house. He had to do some work.'' Molly answered and changed the channel.

''Oh'' I answered and looked at the TV.

''How did you sleep?'' Molly asked me while watching the TV.

''Fine. You?'' I asked.

''Could have been better if that brother of yours would sleep in his place and not move around like a monkey.'' She answered with a groan and I laughed.

''Yeah, he does move a lot when he sleeps'' I said and Molly glared at Jack who again moved in his sleep and put an arm on Molly's leg.

''Hey, are you awake?'' Luke asked me through the mind link.

''Yeah, What's up?'' I asked him back and laughed when Molly tried to push the arm off of her leg.

''You are needed at the hospital. A rogue attack Jenifer and she is in a lot of pain. The doctors are trying to help her but she isn't letting them.''

''Okay, I'm on my way.'' I said and got up from the bed.

''Thank you Laur.'' He said and shut down the link.

''Where are you going?'' Molly asked me when she saw me stand up.

''Jenifer got hurt and I need to go help her.'' I answered and started to walk out of the house to shift in my wolf but then I remembered that there are other packs in the territory so I can't shift. I quickly turned around and walked upstairs.

I put on some jeans and a white top with a light blue jean jacket and some white converse and walked back down.

''See you later!'' Molly said just as I opened the door. I gave her a quick smile and closed the door after and started to run towards the pack hospital which was right next to the pack house.

Molly's house wasn't far away from the pack house so I reached the hospital in about 3 minutes. When I walked in I heard a girl screaming.

Many pack members nodded at me and let me walk past them as I walked towards the screaming Jenifer.

Outside of her room there were a lot of doctors and nurses running around. When they saw me they nodded at me and let me walk past them but one doctor pulled me back.

''She won't let us do anything. She is in a lot of pain and needs our help but you know how she is scared of doctors. You need to calm her down or she will get herself more hurt than she already is. The rogue bit her in the stomach and she is losing a lot of blood because her wolf isn't healing her.'' Doctor Rims told me. He looked worried and tired. I could tell that he was the one who had tried to help Jenifer before.

I gave him a nod and turned towards Jenifer's room. The doctor let me go and I walked inside her room. When I opened the door I saw a lot of nurses inside trying to calm down a screaming Jenifer. What were they thinking? Is this how they calm down a scared girl?

''Everyone out!'' I growled out and they all looked at me, even Jenifer stopped screaming. They quickly nodded and ran past me but I stopped a nurse who was the last one of the group, ''You stay and help me''

She nodded and I turned towards Jenifer. She looked at me with scared eyes. I could see that was about to scream again so I quickly put my hands up in surrender.

''Hey, hey it's okay. I'm not a doctor. I am not going to hurt you.'' I said calmly and gave her a smile.

''I won't let you touch me.'' Jenifer whispered scared.

''I won't if you don't want me. I swear.'' I promised her and she gave me a nod, ''Can you tell me what happened?''

''I was out in the woods walking around when suddenly a rogue ran towards me and bit me. I tried to fight back but he was too strong for me. I yelled and that's when Ian found me and saved me. He killed the rogue and took me here.'' She explained and I nodded at her, ''The doctors ran inside the room and it scared me. Then more came and they all tried to do something. It scared me even more so I started to scream.'' She said and I could see that she was about to cry.

''Hey, hey it's okay they are gone. It's just me and you and a nurse. We won't do anything if you don't want us to.'' I explained to her with a small smile and she nodded a tear escaping her eye, ''Can I sit next to you?''

She nodded slowly and I walked over to her bed and sat down next to her, careful not to hurt her, ''Does it hurt?''

''Yes, it hurts so much.'' She nodded and looked down to hide her face.

''You know I could help you with the pain.'' I said and took her hand, ''You just need to let me help you.''

''I'm scared'' Jenifer answered and I smiled.

''I know, but I promise it won't hurt. It will help you with the pain.'' I said but Jenifer did nothing. She just sat there hiding her face from me. That made me wonder, ''Jenifer...Why are you scared of doctors so much?''

I felt her tense up next to me. She looked out the window and started at nothing in the distance.

''I was 10 years old. My mom and I were driving home from school and we got into a car accident. We were both badly hurt. We were taken to the hospital and put in separate rooms. I asked the doctors if my mom was okay and they said that she would be fine. They said that they needed to help me get better. I told them that I didn't want them to hurt me. They told me that I wouldn't hurt me but they lied. It hurt so much. I screamed at them to stop hurting me but they didn't stop. They put needles and tubes in my arms and continued to ''help'' me for an hour.'' She said and looked at me while a tear slipped out again from her eye, ''When they finally stopped I told them that I wanted to see my mom. They told me that I would see her later. After a few minutes later my dad waked in with tears in his eyes. He looked broken...defeated... I asked him what's wrong and he told me that mom was gone. The doctors lied to me again!''

''Oh dear...'' I whispered. She went through a lot. No wonder she was scared of doctors. I would be too.

''That's why I don't let them help me. I don't trust them.'' she explained to me.

''Do you trust me?'' I asked and she looked at me. She slowly nodded.

''I do. I have seen you help a lot of pack members when they got hurt. You are always nice to everyone and helping them out.'' She said and I gave her a small smile.

''Then do you trust me when I say that I can help you? I can help you get better. And I will promise that it won't hurt you.'' I asked her and took her other hand.

She sat there silently looking in my eyes. She nodded after a while and I gave her a smile.

''The nurse is going to give you medicine that will help the pain.'' I said to her slowly and she nodded. I looked at the nurse and saw her looking around for some medicine to give her.

''Give her something that will make her sleepy so she will fall asleep and you can all help her'' I linked her and she nodded at me. She went to shelf and took a needle with a little bottle. She put the liquid in the needle and looked at me. I turned back towards Jenifer who was looking at the nurse scared.

''Hey, hey. Look at me'' I said and she turned her head towards me, ''Look me in the eyes. If you look in my eyes I promise that I won't hurt you.''

She nodded and didn't bother to look at the nurse who was slowly walking towards us. She slowly took Jenifer's arm and I felt her tense again.

''It's going to be okay. Just look in my eyes.'' I said and she nodded, ''Tell me about something. Something that you love''

''My brother...'' she said and I smiled, ''His 2 years younger than me. He's a pain in the ass but I love him anyway.'' She said with a laugh just when the nurse put the needle in Jenifer's arm but she didn't feel it. She just laughed thinking about her brother.

''Where is he right now?'' I asked her smiling.

''He should be at home doing homework, but he is probably thinking of another way to prank me when I get home.'' She said with a smile. I saw the nurse take the needle out and walk away. Jenifer looked at the nurse and then back at me, ''It didn't hurt. I didn't even feel it! You didn't lie to me...Thank you''

''I told you you could trust me.'' I said with a smile and Jenifer smiled even more, ''Now tell me about your brother. What kind of pranks did he use?''

''The basic ones. Cake in the face. Bucket of cold water at the door.'' she laughed and I giggled. She yawned and I smiled.

''You should rest. The pain will be gone when you wake up.'' I said and she nodded. She lied down on the bed and closed her eyes.

''Don't go...Not until I fall asleep at least'' she whispered.

''Of course'' I whispered back, ''I wasn't planning on going anywhere."

''Thank you'' she whispered and I could feel that she was a second away from falling asleep. And I was right. Just when she thanked me she fell asleep.

I slowly pulled my hand away from her and looked at the nurse.

''Make sure you help her as much as you can while she is sleeping but don't you dare to do anything that will hurt her and wake her up.'' I said and the nurse nodded at me. I looked at Jenifer and walked towards the door.

''Thank you'' The nurse whispered and I gave her a nod.

''Call me if something goes wrong or when she wakes up.'' I said and the nurse nodded.

I closed the doors and took a deep breath. This was a lot. Poor Jenifer. She has been through a lot. I really do hope everything will be okay and she will get better so she can go and live happily with her brother.

I walked away from her room and down the stairs. When I saw doctor Rims I stopped him.

''Hey!'' I said and the doctor looked at me.

''Yes?'' He asked.

''Can you please help Jenifer? She is asleep.'' I said and the doctor nodded with a smile.

''Of course, Thank you for helping us'' he said and I gave him a smile.

''It's okay. Please call her family and tell them to come here to her. Oh and please help her while she is sleeping. If she wakes up she will start to scream again. I promised her everything will be okay'' I said and the doctor again nodded.

''Of course.'' He said and I nodded. We said our goodbyes and I walked out of the hospital.

''Laura!'' Luke called me when I walked out, ''Is everything okay? How is Jenifer? Did you help her?''

''Yes, Everything is perfectly fine. Jenifer is sleeping and the doctors are now trying to help her as we speak'' I said with a smile.

''Oh thank god. I knew I could trust you with this'' he said with a smile and gave me a hug, ''Thank you!''

''It's okay. You know I will help anyone who needs it.'' I said and hugged him back.

''I know. That's why I asked you.'' He said with a laugh and I smiled even more. But before I could say something else, Luke was ripped away from me and I was pushed behind someone's back.

''Don't touch her!'' Ross growled at Luke. I tried to walk around Ross but he wouldn't let me.

''I will if I want!'' Luke growled at Ross who growled even more at him. He was about to jump at Luke but I pulled him back. I ran in front of Ross and put my hands on his chest to try and push him back.

He put him arms around me and pulled me into his chest, ''Mine'' he growled at Luke who just growled back at him.

I growled at both of them, ''Stop! You are going to wake up Jenifer! Luke please can you go? I will meet up with you later.''

Ross growled at that but I growled back at him and he pulled me even closer.

''Will you be okay?'' Luke asked and Ross again growled at him.

''Yes, just please go'' I said to him and he nodded. He growled at Ross one more time who was smirking at him and walked away.

Ross put his face in my neck and took a deep breath. I let him take in my scent for a few seconds before pushing him away and turning around to walk away but before I could I was pulled back into his chest, followed by another of his growls.

''Don't walk away from me again.'' He growled in my neck. I tried to get away from him but he just pulled me closer, ''Don't''

''Let me go!'' I growled at him but he didn't even move a muscle, ''I won't walk away from you. We just can't be here right now. Not in front of the hospital.''

He growled and nodded. He let me go but as I was about to step away from him, he quickly walked next me, took my hand and lead me towards the woods. I tried to take my hand away but his grip was too strong for me so I just gave up.

We walked for about 5 minutes. When he thought we were far away from the hospital he stopped and turned towards me. He was about to pull me against him again but I quickly stepped away and somehow managed to pull my hand away from him as well.

He growled and tried to take my hand again but I just took another step back, ''No. No touching''. He took another step towards me but I just took another back, ''Didn't you hear me? I said no touching!''

''I heard you alright. But I want what's mine'' he growled out and tried to take my hand again but I put it against my back.

''No. You won't have me'' he growled at that, ''not until we talk''

''We are talking'' he said and took another step towards me. I took another step and my back hit a tree. He smirked when he saw that I was trapped.

''I didn't mean that. Luke-'' growl, ''told me yesterday you will come and find me today to talk. So talk''

I expected him to take another step towards me so he could pull me against him but instead he took a step back and turned around. He took a few steps forward and after a while turned around and looked in my eyes.

''The rumors... They did happen...but not like you think.''
