Laura pov.

Two weeks later

''Bye Amos see you tomorrow!!'' I said walking away. He waved back with a smile and turned around to go into his house. I turned around as well, but in the other direction and shifted into my wolf and started to run towards my car. In the run Carter, Oliver and Daniel joined me. Ross didn't let me leave the room alone so I had body guards everywhere I went.

It has been two weeks now from the first day I started to train with Amos. I had learned a lot. I practically was a pro. Everyday I trained with Amos for about four or three hours. After my training Ross trained but he didn't train today because his dad called and today they are working together to help the pack.

I forgave Ross completely after one week. He asked me to go to dates everyday and did everything I asked him to do. Every morning I found Rosses in front of me when

I woke up. He served me breakfast in bed. The boys even made jokes about him doing that, but he said that he didn't care what they said. He said that he would do anything to make me happy. When I said that I forgive him and he can stop with these things he didn't, he still continued to do these things and that made me love him even more.

Our friends almost did nothing but travel around Africa. They would go to different beaches and towns and so on. Sometimes some would stay home or come with me and Ross to watch how we train.

When we reached the end of the woods me and the guys shifted back and walked to the car.

''So how the training went?'' Carter asked.

''Just like every other one, but just a little shorter.'' I said and he nodded, ''What did you guys do when I was training?''

They looked at each other and then away from me. I looked at them weirdly, still walking to the car, ''Spill.''

Oliver looked back at me and gulped, ''Please promise us that you won't say anything to Ross, because I know that he already hates me and wants me killed.''

''Why would you say that?'' I asked him opening the door of the car and jumping in along with the guys.

''Don't you remember the first day we were here? We were looking for Amos and you hugged me. From that moment Ross started to hate me. He thinks we spend too much time together and thinks that I am stealing you away from him.'' Oliver said and the guys started to laugh along with me.

''Really?'' I asked, ''just because of a hug?''

''You know how mates are! And the Alphas are even worse!'' Oliver said.

''Okay I will talk to him about it-''I started but Oliver interrupted me.

''No please no! He will hate me even more!'' he practically yelled.

''No I will talk to him and he won't do anything. He knows what will happen if his not listening to what I say.'' I said, ''Now tell me what were you doing while I was training?''

Daniel started the car and drove away while no one else talked, ''Tell me!''

''Fine'' Carter started, ''We were...we went...um...wewenttotheoceantoswimwhileyouweretraining!''

I looked at him weirdly, ''Slower.''

''We....went....to... the...-'' he started again.

''Normal speed you idiot!'' I said annoyed.

''We went to the ocean to swim while you were training. But please don't tell Ross! He will kill us for not doing our job and not protecting his mate!'' Carter said scared.

''I won't tell Ross, but you have to do your job. What would you do if he came to the training after all? He would have seen that you were not there!'' I said and they looked down.

''We know...we just.'' Daniel started.

''Next time just do your job. You can joke a little there, but this is your job! You can't just go away from it!'' I said to them.

''We promise that we will never do that again.'' They said together.

''You better.'' I said and looked out the window.

''We're sorry Laura... we will never do that again. Please forgive us.'' Oliver said and Daniel nodded along with Carter.

''I forgive you, but next time I'm telling Ross.'' I said and they nodded scared. The rest of the ride no one talked. There was just awkward silence.

''Hey Ross.'' I said walking in our room. He looked away from his computer and smiled.

''Hey beautiful.'' Ross said, putting his computer away and patting his lap, signalizing for me to go sit there. I walked over to him and sat down, giving him a quick kiss on his lips on the way.

''How was training?'' Ross asked, putting his arms around me.

''Good'' I said while I put my head on his shoulder, ''What did your dad say? Are there good or bad news?''

''Bad...'' he said and I sat up straight.

''What happened?'' I asked worried.

''There has been a lot of rogue attacks. Four wolfs had died in our pack.'' Ross said and I gasped, ''They first attacked at night and killed one guard. The second attack was two days later. They attack at the place where women's and their children play.''

''Did some of them get hurt? Did the children get hurt?'' I asked him.

''No. The guards saved them, but a child lost his dad.'' Ross said looking down.

''That is horrible.'' I said while tears formed in my eyes, ''You need to go back.''

''And you're coming with me.'' Ross said and looked up.

''I have to stay here. I need to train Ross. You have to go. The pack needs their Alpha.'' I said, putting my hands around his neck.

''They also need their Luna! And I'm not leaving you alone in another country! Not when Derek is alive...'' Ross said.

''But Ross I have to train. I have to learn how to defeat Derek!'' I said.

''I know that's why you're asking Amos tomorrow to come to California with us.'' Ross said and I nodded.

''Okay I will ask him, but what if he says no?'' I asked him and he looked in my eyes.

''He won't.''

''But if he does?''

''Then...I'm staying with you here in Butre.'' Ross said, but I shook my head.

''Ross are you stupid? The pack needs their Alpha! They need you!'' I argued back at him.

''And the Alpha needs his Luna! The pack needs their Luna as well!'' he shouted back.

''They need their Alpha more that Lu-''

''No they don't! We are at the same level! They need you just as much as they need me!'' Ross shouted at me and made me shut up, ''I will lose control Laura. And you know what happens when I lose control... I destroy everything! Sometimes I even hurt some of the pack members! They can't calm me down...only you can... You're coming back and that's final.''

There was silence after that. We were just looking in each other's eyes for something, but just didn't know what it was.

Finally after what felt like five minutes I answered, ''Fine I'm coming back as well. When do we leave?''

''Tomorrow morning.'' Ross answered.

''Does everyone know?'' I asked him and he nodded. I stood up and said ''okay then I'm going back to tell Amos.''

''I'm coming with you.'' he said and stood up as well.

''No you can stay and do your job.''

''No. I'm coming with you.''

''Fine, just control yourself if something bad happens. Okay?'' I asked him and he nodded, ''Okay?'' I asked again.

''Yes, I promise I will control myself.'' Ross answered and I nodded. Turning around we walked out of the room and walked to our car.

''Oliver.'' I said in the mind link.

''Yes?'' he asked back, '' Is everything okay?''

''Yes. If someone asks where Ross or I am say we went to talk to Amos.'' I explained.

''Yes Luna and Why are you going may I ask?'' he asked me.

''First don't call me Luna and second, we're asking Amos to come to California with us.'' I explained again.

''Were going back to California?'' he asked.

''Yes, tomorrow morning.'' I said.

''Okay I'll tell the other ones and we will pack.'' he answered.

''Thank you Oliver.''

We jumped in the car and Ross started to drive to Butre. While we were sitting there in silence something came in my mind.

''Ross?'' I asked.

''Mmm?''

''Do you hate Oliver?'' I asked and he growled.

''Why are we talking about that pup?'' Ross asked, angry.

''We are, now talk. Do you hate him?'' I snapped at him angry.

''Yes.'' Ross growled out.

''Why?'' I asked him.

''His spending too much time with you! His hugging you a lot as well! His taking you away from me! My own mate!'' Ross spat out.

''No he is not! We're friends Ross! And you know it! He helps me a lot! He is like my brother!'' I defended Oliver.

''That may be, but still! That pup touches you too much! You're mine! I'm the only one who can touch you!'' Ross said, angry.

''That pup is Oliver! He is a guard! He will risk his life for me! He is my friend! He is like my other brother! He cheers me up when I'm sad! He helps me when no one else does!'' I yell at him.

''I help you!'' Ross shouted back.

''But he helps me when I'm angry at you because of what you have done!'' I yell back at him. Ross looked at me with sad eyes, before looking back at the road, ''You will let Oliver spend time with me. You will not treat him like you hate him even if you do! You will let me hug him!'' I said to him and he slowly nodded.

''Only if he doesn't hug you for too long, doesn't kiss you on the cheek, lips or anywhere else.'' Ross whispered.

''Why do you think he will kiss me?'' I asked him.

''You don't know boys that well like I do.'' he said and looked at me quickly before looking back at the road.

''He won't.'' I said.

''Just promise me that you will never leave me for someone else.'' Ross whispered.

''Why would you think that I would leave you?'' I asked shocked and kind of hurt.

''Because...Because I just don't deserve you. You're too good for me. You're smart, kind, funny, beautiful, generous...Everything that I'm not. I'm rude, mean, impatient...'' Ross whispered.

''Ross you're not those things. You're hard-working, strong, nice, polite. Sometimes you just lost control and do stupid things but you're not like that in life. You take care of the pack, make the pack members feel safe, you make me happy. Yes sometimes you hurt me as well, but those are just mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. No one is perfect.''

Ross stopped the car and looked at me in the eyes, ''You can't even realize how lucky I am to have a mate like you. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you. I love you so much Laura.'' Ross whispered looking in my eyes.

''I love you too Ross.'' I said back and he kissed me. I smiled in the kiss and kissed back. The kiss was only filled with love that feel for each other.

When we pulled away, Ross kissed my head and started to drive again, holding my hand the whole way in silence.

''Ross? Laura? What are you doing here again?'' Amos asked confused, ''Is something wrong?''

''We need to talk.'' Ross said.

''Okay, come in.'' Amos said opening the door to let us in.

We walked to the living room and sat down on the couch.

''So what did you want to talk about?''

''There are some rogue problems in my pack and because I'm the Alpha I need to go back. Laura is the Luna and the pack and I need her help as well so she has to come with, but she also needs to train her powers and the only one who can teach her is you. So we came to ask you if you can come with us to California.'' Ross explained to Amos who nodded.

''I see. I know that you have to go back and Laura has to go too. The pack is more important than your training. So I am going to go with you. You can take care of the pack and at the same time you can train.'' Amos said and I gave him a big smile.

''Thank you Amos.'' I said and he smiled.

''When do we leave?'' Amos asked.

''Tomorrow morning.'' Ross answered and Amos nodded.

''Then I will see you then.''

Ross and I stood up, said our goodbyes and walked away.

''I told you he would come with us.'' Ross said with a smirk.

''Yeah, yeah''
