What my brother always told me was aim for the neck first, then the nose, then the head. The neck makes it harder to breathe, the nose is the most painful and the head would be an easy knock out if I use great force. I haven't knocked anyone out before but watching Sophia give me the most daring look made me want to explore what my strength can do.

I slithered away from Jin still upset with him. All eyes were now on Sophia and I. I had a feeling some thought I would lose. That's a laugh. I knew Sophia's weakness. She can't throw a punch to save her life. She only kicks. So I waited for her to run up again. She stuck the fake knife at me and whispered "if you can't take me down, you will be punished severely"

I don't know what she meant by that but I challenged her with a smirk.

She started running towards me and like Jackson taught me, I waited for the right moment. When she got close, that's when I back kicked her straight to the face. All I saw was her chin fly up and her hands struggling to catch the air. She fell on her back with a hard thud.

Everyone gasped

I cursed myself for missing her throat.

No one moved. Even Jin was stunned. He had one hand on his chin; rubbing it as if I kicked him instead of Sophia.

She just laid there. Not moving.

I hope I didn't kill her.

Jin suddenly raced to check if she was okay. He grabbed her face and lightly tapped it "Are you alright?" He whispered

"No, she got knocked out. Serves her right" Cindy sang as she ran up to me; giving me hugs of respect.

My stomach turned when she still didn't make any sudden movement. Roxy suddenly came forward and poured her water bottle on Sophia's face. Everyone laughed as Sophia finally woke up. She started to get frantic; kicking whoever was near her and that included Jin. "You're alright. You just got kicked, you're okay, stop kicking" he said grabbing on to both her legs. She bolted up and wiped her bloody mouth. Her eyes were blazing.

I awkwardly smiled "so umm....do you want to go again?"

Everyone started snickering.

Sophia started walking towards me. I was ready to kick her in the face again. But she suddenly snorted and before anyone could do anything, bloody spit came out of her mouth and onto my face. "First you sleep with my boyfriend, and now you think you're hulk because you took me down? Bitch fuck you"

Everyone gasped

No one has ever spit on me! No one! And the fact she just did that made me enraged. I'm going to beat the living shit out of her. So I found myself lunging at her. I felt arms catch me just in time.

But it's alright. Cindy lunged the same time I did. She and Sophia both tumbled on the ground; both throwing punches at each others faces. I tried to get free but Jin had a death lock on me. I started screaming for Jackson. He was over protective when it came to me and Cindy. I was sure he would do something.

But what I didn't expect was Roxy coming in the brawl. She sat on Sophia's back while Cindy started kneeing her in the face.

The knees to the face sounded brutal

That's when Jin let me go finally and grabbed Cindy. I proceeded to grab my shoe so I could throw it at Sophia's head but Dylan came out of no where and took the blow instead.

The shoe hit him in his crotch. I would have normally laughed but bloody spit was all over my face.

He proceeded to help Jin get Roxy off of Sophia. But she wouldn't budge. It took them a few minutes to finally lift her up.

Sophia laid there in pain.

Dylan looked infuriated. He faced us "run"

"What?" Cindy asked trying to catch her breath. Her fists were all bloody. "I said run, you three will run until I tell you to stop!"

I wiped my face with my forearm. "What? She spit on my face and you're punishing us for reacting?"

Dylan stood up straighter and shook his head "You always give your instructors respect. I don't care what she did, you shouldn't have all three attacked her, so now start running...."

I gasped and looked to Jin for help. But he was too busy helping Sophia up to notice. She was all over him and it infuriated me.

Me and him are over. Done! I will never talk to him.

Roxy came forward and balled her fists. "Hey! We aren't your puppets okay! We deserve respect as well" Then she turned to me "tell him who you are, I'm sure he would-

Cindy slapped her hand in Roxy's mouth and gave everyone a fake grin "okay! Well looks like we will go ahead and run"

Dylan blew his whistle and once he did that it started raining.

"Well don't just stand there! Run! Run until I tell you to-

"Dude we get it!" Cindy said rolling her eyes. We all started running on the usual trail. When we were far enough so no one could see us, that's when Cindy started scolding Roxy. "Are you nuts? Why would you try to blow our cover like that? I mean yeah thanks for helping me kick Sophia's ass but telling Dylan about Quinn won't solve anything"

Roxy looked visually hurt. "Why? They deserve to get their karma. What they did to Quinn was horrible. And what happened today just made me so upset."

"Look it's not your business! When Quinn is ready she will tell her. Just butt out!" Cindy hissed before grabbing my arm "Come on, lets go the opposite direction" she urged now tugging on my arm. But I couldn't move. Roxy looked like she was about to cry. And I just didn't feel right. Yeah she bullied me in the past but that doesn't mean I should bully her too.

"Roxy...thank you...I really appreciate- well WE appreciate your help back there" I said nudging Cindy who just rolled her eyes. Roxy smiled before wiping her eyes. "Really? Did you like how I sat on her?"

I giggled "Yeah, she was no match for you or Cindy"

"Or you...you literally kicked her like you had super powers or something. It was quite impressive"

Cindy started whispering in my ear "why are you being so nice to her? She bullied you remember?"

I nodded. Then looked at Roxy. I think she heard what Cindy said so to defend herself she stepped forward "listen, after I heard that you killed yourself...I-

"We really don't want to hear your sob story" Cindy stated but I begged her to show Roxy some mercy. This happened in the past. If I was willing to forgive Roxy then she should too.

Roxy started fiddling with her hands "...I-well i couldn't live with the fact I made someone kill them selves." Then she looked up at me "Quinn...I'm so sorry. From the bottom of my heart. I mean look at me" she said feeling around "I am fat! I ate to fill the depression, and here I am, two hamburgers away from being obeist . I understand your pain...I've been going through it since freshman's year. I don't expect you to forgive me, but...I'm just glad..you're okay. I'm glad you didn't commit suicide...."

....I'm glad you didn't listen to me when I told you to...kill your self" she finished off with a whimper. "I lost friends, I lost family members...I have no one"

My heart shattered.

I knew the feeling

It's not a great feeling.

Not in a million years would I ever think I would feel sorry for Roxy. I wanted to just give her a hug.

And I did

Once we pulled apart she gave me a weak smile "so...do you forgive me? It would be a starting point for me to have your forgiveness...I can't live without it. Please Quinn"

Before I could answer Jin came around the corner. Roxy and Cindy both started running afraid of what he was going to say. But I didn't. I stayed behind giving him the most dirtiest look.

He acted like he was clueless to them. Once he got close, he felt my face but I slapped his hand away. "Ouch what was that for?"

"Ask Sophia"

"Really? Queen, you literally knocked her out...what did you want me to do?"

I didn't hesitate when saying "ummm, let her lay there. She spit on me! She SPIT on me Jin. Bloody spit"

He gave me a stone face. "Quinn, trust me, the things you see in the army would make you not complain like this..."

"Excuse me?"

He frowned "that's not what I meant"

I stepped back and rolled my eyes "I don't know why I even waste my time"

"What do you mean?"

"You don't care about me, you're using me."

He gave me a look I've never seen before. Not a guilty look but more of a dark and cold look like I just insulted him. "You should start running" then he turned and started walking the opposite direction.

Why did I feel the need to cry? He just left. He could have at least told me I was wrong. He could have just told me that he cared for me.

But He didn't.

We ran for fucking one hour! AN HOUR!

I was beyond livid. I wasn't in the mood to do any training and I swear to god if Dylan had me do more running I would knock him out.

Once I got to my room, my feet were literally killing me.

Roxy, Cindy and I were given the day to rest while the rest were doing some rock climbing.

In the meantime, I got Dream dressed. Jackson only packed two outfits for her so I had to really make them last. We all went to the cafeteria for breakfast and she ate some eggs and toast. I wasn't in the mood for any food. My stomach felt like it was going to burst from all that running.

We got closer to Roxy. I finally forgave her and it was like light touched her. She was such in a high mood, she even helped care for Dream for me while I took a short nap.

Jackson trained all day. He enjoyed it.

It replaced the missed day he lost from the gym.

Matt has been very distant. He would wave at me whenever I saw him but that's about it.

As for Jin. He was totally ignoring me.

And that had me boiling.

Before lunch Sophia decided to throw a little party in the dining area for all the future soldiers. She expressed how proud she was that the training was benefiting us.

God kill me

She looked like a zombie up there. Her marks looked severe. I couldn't stand her voice. She hasn't given me any eye contact ever since I knocked her out cold.

The small party looked like the school dance. There were snacks everywhere, fruit punch, music, and everyone dancing and enjoying there time. Jackson and Roxy were dancing while I decided to put Dream to bed; just for a short nap. I then came back to the dining room area and watched everyone have fun. Cindy joined me. I couldn't get my eyes off of Jin. He was talking to Matt as if nothing was wrong.

I involuntarily banged my fists on Cindy's lap. "Ouch what the hell?"

I immediately apologized. "God What's up with you? Don't tell me it's cause of Jin."

I nodded "he's a dick!" I didn't tell her I slept with him because I didn't want her to start lecturing me but I did express how hurt I was that he was protecting Sophia from us. And how he didn't stand up for me when Dylan made us do those horrific runs. She nodded agreeing "forget him. Just let loose and dance! Have fun! Show him that you don't give a fuck"

She's right.

I should just start dancing. Show him that I'm happy without him.

Someone suddenly changed the music and 99 percent- ITwerk, started playing

I gave my cup of juice to Cindy.

Roxy stepped on my foot at least fifty times. I didn't want to be rude and stop dancing with her. I didn't want her to think I thought she was just fat. But man, both my feet were blazing to the point I had to make up an excuse. "I have to pee"

She started giggling "no you don't. Is it cause I'm stepping on your toes?"

I awkwardly laughed. Suddenly the station changed and a twerk song started playing. I thanked god for that because Roxy said "I can't twerk"

I nodded excited "Yeah let's sit down" I urged.

Suddenly a roaring of shouts had me look up. I spotted a girl in the front in only a tank top and shorts shaking her ass in front of all the men.

Then women were all sitting down looking very envious. I searched the crowd for Cindy. She was sitting down with her jaw hanging low.

The girl now did a split and started clapping her cheeks together. I was really impressed. All the guys were cheering her on. This girl really has talent. It's like she was a stripper but the classier version. It was kind of hot. The way she twisted her neck and moved her waist; made her look like a belly dancer. I was so intrigued I walked into the crowd only to realize...

....it was my fucking sister.

She grabbed Dylan and started twerking on him. I almost choked on my spit. What the hell is going on? Why is she wearing that? Why is she moving like that? Why is she dancing on HIM out of all people? I tried to make my way in the middle but the crowd was too excited and I couldn't make it through.

Just wait until I get my hands on her!

Dylan started laughing and held on to her waist. And Quinn really had the audacity to grind on him in a sexual manner.

She suddenly stopped and grabbed the nearest water bottle before spraying herself with it. The cheers only got louder. I was beyond pissed. I was ready to punch whoever was in my way...

...but Jin beat me to it.

He shoved Dylan out the way and grabbed Quinn's wrist aggressively. Before I could conclude what just happened, they were already out the door. I shoved people out the way to chase after them.

I'm going to whoop her ass, then I'll whoop his ass for grabbing on to her like that!

Once I mad it out the cafeteria, I went straight the big trailers. That's where all the soldiers stay. So I'm pretty sure Jin took her there. I only made it to the steps when I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see Sophia.

Her chin was all bruised up and she was developing a black eye. I really didn't have time to talk to her. But she said "I know where they went."

So I followed her lead. She took me to an empty room. Took my awhile to realize it was her room.

It was quite small. Literally had a big bed in the middle, with a lot of suitcases and girl products spread out everywhere. Same ole Sophia. She was always so messy. "Ummm so where is Queen?" I asked facing her.

My jaw hung low when I witnessed her take off her shirt, revealing to me her pink fluffy bra. With one motion she unhooked it and threw it at me. I blocked my face just in time.

"Well don't just stand there. Come here" she said
