I jump in my seat as a girl with white skin and black hair pops up on the screen.

"Why did I agree to this?" I groan and cover my face with my hands, peeking through and waiting for another scary scene.

I agreed to sneak into the movie theatre at our school with Wyatt, Jason, Cole and Ed and to say I regret it is an understatement because they decided it would be a good idea to watch The Ring.

Cole and Ed ended up in a corner, flirting and talking in hushed whispers. Jason ended up on the floor, hogging all the popcorn. Then Wyatt ended up sitting next to me and laughing at the way I would jump every time a scary scene comes on.

What's the point of horror movies? I mean, spoiler alert, people are gonna die. How is that entertaining at all? It's sadistic, if you ask me.

"Don't worry, darling," Wyatt leans towards my ear, "I won't let anything hurt you."

I smile and look down at my lap, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"I... I need to tell you something," Wyatt whispers and I look up with a frown, completely forgetting the movie.

He stands up and walks out the room, without another word. I stare at the door, not knowing what to do.

Well follow him, idiot.

I get up and walk out the room, my heart racing faster than it was when I was watching the movie.

I look around as soon as I'm out of the theatre and he is nowhere to be seen. Ugh, all these fit people, walking so fast.

I decide to check our room, figuring that's where he could be. I walk into the dorm room, checking the watch to see that it's already one in the morning.

My eyes scan over the room to see that it's also empty, but a little yellow sticky note catches my attention.

Hey Coco,

Just go to Ash and ask him what it is I want to tell you. He'll know for sure.

There is an adorable little winky face next to his name, that makes me smile.

Idiot.

This is so stupid. I'm tired and I want to go to sleep. That's literally all I care about. In a private school, work is harder than I expected. If I want to get good marks again, I'm going to have to keep working but it won't be efficient if I don't sleep.

I knock on Ash's door, imagining my bed and smiling.

Maybe I can sleep over with Ash tonight and ask Cole to swap just for a day. Maybe then I can show him what he's missing, because I really want Ash.

He's hot and his body is just... Yes.

So is Wyatt's.

No, idiot. He'll hurt you more than Ash can. You may like both boys but right now Ash is a better option.

My internal debate is cut short by the door being pulled open by a shirtless Ash. His hair is ruffled and he is only in his boxers.

"Oh, hey babe," Ash greets, slightly panting. "What are you doing here?"

"Is Wyatt here?" I ask, looking around the room.

"Wyatt?" Ash repeats, his expression confused at first but the confusion dissipates and turn into anger.

"No, why?" he asks through gritted teeth.

I hear a sound in the bathroom, and our heads spin towards the direction of the closed door.

With a smirk I run to the door and pull it open, expecting to see Wyatt.

Instead of Wyatt, a girl stands naked with her clothes bundled in her arms.

"Hi," she greets and smiles.

I spin around to face Ash, not sure how to feel. I didn't expect it but at the same time I did.

We're not dating.

I shrug and walk to the door, deciding to leave.

My heart feels like someone is grabbing onto it and trying to rip it out, but I keep my face emotionless.

"Coral," Ash grabs onto my arm and spins me to face him.

I look down at the floor, willing myself to feel nothing. A tear slips down my cheek and I wipe it away with the hand that isn't being gripped by Ash.

It doesn't matter who it is, being cheated on is the worst feeling in the world.

"Wait, who the fuck is she?" The girl says walking out the bathroom. "You said it's your friend. This doesn't look like friendship."

"It's nothing, Del, I swear," he says to the girl and lets go of my hand, stepping away.

"Who are you?" She glares at me and I stand in the room, completely confused.

"Who are you?" I spit back, ready to leave,

"I'm his girlfriend."
