As days were passing by Taehyung and Y/N got even more closer than before, they had already fallen for each other but were both denying the fact. All they needed was to realise and accept their true feelings for each other.

They were all seating surrounding the table for dinner, talking about random stuff here and there. The murmuring of here and there suddenly stopped when Taehyung's father asked something making them stop what they were doing and put all their focus on him.

"Taehyung in few weeks its your birthday" his father said in a happy yet in a serious tone.

"OHHH Yahhhh its Taehyung oppa's birthday in few weeks" Jennie and others said in excitement.

"Hmm yah we have already planned everything" said Namjoon...

"But the most important thing is I will officially pronounce you as the Alpha of the pack, which also means you will have to find your Luna, the pack needs Luna as well."

After hearing his fathers words he couldn't describe his emotions right now, he had mixed emotions, sad, happy, worried, pressure.

After being the Alpha his gonna have a huge responsibility, but as he was thinking about this something hit him hard... THE REALISATION...

His will have to find his mate, his luna...

But deep down he knew he loves only one girl, and he wants to be with that one girl, but at the same time something was stopping him from reaching to her...

What if Y/N is my mate, he smiled thinking at the positive thought in his mind, but soon faded away when... What if she is not my mate, this thought made him sad... shrugging it off he said to himself "Think Positive Taehyung everything will be okay..." He said leaving a heavy sigh off his mouth.

"Taehyung Taehyung Taehyung are you listening to me..." his father said but he was lost thinking about his mate and the person he loves.

He came out of his thinking when he felt light taps on his shoulder, moving his head to the side he saw Jimin tapping his shoulder... and looked at his mom calling him,

"Taehyung..."

"yah eomma"

"Are you okay, you look so lost, is there something you want to say" she questioned him, looking into his eyes, a mother knows her child better than anyone else. She knew there is something that is bothering him, which made her worry for her beloved son.

"Ahh hmm Yh I'm fine" he said and looked at his food. And suddenly stood up saying

"I'm full, I'll be in my room thank you for the dinner good night"

"But honey you didn't even eat anything-" Before his mom could finish her statement he left them dumbfounded.

But She knew there is something important and she needs to know it..."

After Taehyung left the atmosphere suddenly became serious and sad, Jimin was about to go but,

"Jimin its okay leave him alone for sometime, here eat more, you look so skinny" she said serving him more...

"Yah Jimin Hyung you need to eat more food to become taller like me otherwise you'll be short forever." Jungkook said to annoy him... (Sorry, no offense Jimin stan, its just a ff)

"Yah you little"

"Aeygo stop fighting you too..."

And with that the room was filled with laughter again, but one person didn't seem to enjoy it...

Ahhh I couldn't stop thinking about what my dad said to me, My Mate, My Luna... Ahhhhhhhhhh! I'm going crazy...

I was laying on the bed, blankly starring at the ceiling, just then the door opened signally someone entering in the room, I didn't bother to look who it was,

"Jungkook if your here to play I'm not in mood just leave me alone." he said without even looking at the person.

"Tae" a soft delicate voice called him out, turning his head to the left he saw

"Oh eomma" he said before sitting on the bed, after locking the door she came and sat next to him.

"Tae"

he hmmed in response before laying his head on her lap, she caressed his hair, making him relax.

"Taehyung I gave birth to you and I know my child more than anyone, you know that right." she said making him tilt and look into her eyes, a smiled formed on his face.

Placing a kiss on the back of his mom's hand he replied

"I know, after all I'm your son"

"So if you know then tell me what's bothering you, is there something?" she questioned softly, but he was confused and hesitating whether to say it or not.

She noticed the hesitation, and just smiled,

"It's Okay take your time, when your ready and feel comfortable let me know now go to sleep have to wake up early tomorrow." she said placing a kiss on his forehead.

Giving her his famous charming boxy smile he kissed her on her cheek and said good night mom and thank you so much.

He felt better, and without thinking further he went to sleep.

As usual they came to school, as they were walking towards the locker he saw Y/N placing her books in her locker, as he was looking at her, she suddenly turned around and looked directly into his eyes, he felt happy after he saw her smiling, and returned her with a smile, but when it hit him, Mate, Luna...

In no time they were next to Y/N,

"Hey guys, Hey Tae-" she was about to say something but he,

"Ahmm I have to go I have some wok" and left them confused,

They looked at each other in confusion.

"What's wrong with him?" Jhope questioned in confusion.

"I don't know" replied Jungkook.

The bell rang and they rushed to their classes.

It was going as usual, they were talking, laughing having fun, but Y/N,

Y/n wasn't having either of it she was confused as to why Taehyung is ignoring her suddenly, did she do something, is he mad at her such thoughts lingered around her mind...

She placed her books in the locker. As she was going to her next class she saw Taehyung walking towards her direction, by just looking at his boxy smile it made her day, but she wanted to talk to him.

She kept walking towards him, it seemed like he still didn't notice her, but when he did, their eyes made contact with each other, after some seconds he broke the eye contact, turning around he walked the other direction, which made Y/N even more curious and confused about Taehyung's action.

"Tae" she called out one last time but he didn't even turn around to look at her...

"Why are you doing this Tae, why are you ignoring me, Tell me?" she said to herself.
