I could feel someone's hands on my chest pressing down hard and releasing. It happened about a couple more times before I reached up and stopped them.

I turned on my side coughing up lots of pool water. It felt like someone had burned my lungs.

The same person put their hands on my back to help me get it up.

I slowly opened my stinging eyes and turned back around to be faced with the boy that didn't help me earlier and Ace and the other lad standing watching like they didn't have a care in the world. Although the brown haired boy looked a bit ashamed of himself.

"are you okay?"his lips asked me.

I just shook my head no and started crying.

"m-my che-chest hurts"I cried the pain was to intense.

Everything was burning inside me. My chest had an agonising pain that wouldn't stop and my stomach and lungs felt like they were going to melt that they felt that hot.

The pain was too much and I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

I felt the same boy shaking me to stay awake but I couldn't.

The darkness overtook and I fell unconscious.

When I woke up again I was in a hospital room. I looked around slowly and saw my mum sitting in one of the chairs beside my bed with tear stained cheeks.

"mum" I said. To get her attention.

"Stella honey are you ok?"she quickly comes rushing to my aid and checks my forehead before placing a kiss in the same spot.

"mum my chest really hurts"I started to quietly cry when the pain had returned.

"I know baby, just relax okay the doctor will be in shortly"she signed.

I nodded my head and relaxed into the bed trying to keep my mind off the pain.

About 5 mins later the door slammed open and my dad and Cohen rushed in. Both looking slightly scared.

"Stells what happened sweetie" my dad signed coming to sit beside me.

"I-i" I don't know what to say. I couldn't tell them I was pushed in. We left England for my parents new jobs but also because I was being bullied and it wouldn't stop. If I tell them that I was pushed in on purpose they would feel bad.

"I fell in the pool on my way back from gym class" I lied.

But Ace isn't getting away with this. The shithead is going to get what's coming for him.

Cohen made eye contact with me and gave me a look to say he knew I was lying.

"Oh honey your always so clumsy, you could've died if it wasn't for them boys finding you and calling an ambulance."she signed. Tears welling up her eyes.

"Well I didn't so don't worry about me. I'm fine"I signed wanting to be done with the conversation because I wanted to sleep.

Just as my eyes were closing somebody nudged me awake.

I opened my eyes to see the doctor in the room with everyone looking at me.

"Hello Stella how are you" the doctors lips mouthed.

"I'm okay my chest and lungs hurt a little though" I said back to him.

"They will for a little while, I'm hear to tell you your condition and then if you feel any better tomorrow you can go home" the doctor said looking at everyone in the room.

"So Stella you have a chest infection which is why you feel pain in your chest and your lungs will ache a little with all of the water you have coughed up from around your lungs" I nodded my head to tell him I'm still listening. "I'm going to give you some strong painkillers and antibiotics for your chest you should take twice a day. If you have any more problems feel free to call for someone or me" he then tells my parents that the tablets will be hear in a couple of hours and walks away.

"Stella are you hungry?" My mum signs and I nod.

"Me and your dad will go get you some soup"she signs and they walk out the door heading to the hospital food court.

Cohen comes to sit next to me and looks at me with a hint of annoyance.

"What Cohen? Don't give me that look" I sign my throat a little sore from talking.

"He did it. Didn't he ?" Is all he signs. Anger boiling in his eyes.

When I didn't answer he gets up and begins to walk out of the door before I shout him and he turns around.

"Don't do anything stupid?" I plead knowing where he's going.

He just shrugs and walks out. I know where he's going and I just hope he won't make it any worse.

The rest of the night went quickly my parents came back with my soup and I got my tablets which helped drastically with the pain.

Then just went to sleep.

I woke up and my parents were at the door talking. I coughed a little and their eyes snapped to me.

"Can we go home now?" I sign wanting to get out of this hospital as soon as possible.

My parents nodded and gave me some clothes to change into which was a pair of black leggings a grey jumper and my Nike 270s.

One I was dressed we left the hospital after checking me out. The drive home was quick and when we got into the house I felt happy again.

I walked into the kitchen to see Cohen in there with the boy I saw when I first opened my eyes when I was out of the pool.

My smile fell and a frown replaced it. Wondering what he was doing here.

"Hey Stella how are you feeling" Cohen signs whilst walking up to me and wrapping me in a hug.

"Okay, my chest still hurts though"I sign back when he pulled away.

"Hey Stella"the boy whose name I don't know says.

"Do I know you?" I reply bitterly. I know he saved me and all but he don't stop Ace from throwing me in the pool so why does he deserve my kindness.

"No I'm Ethan, I'm the one who pulled you out of the pool" he then holds his hand out to shake. I don't take it and he pulls it away once he realises I'm not going to be nice to him just yet.

"Look I'm so sorry I didn't stop Ace and Elliot I didn't know they were going to do that" I look at him with a look that says bullshit. "I swear" he puts his hand on his heart and looks full of remorse.

I decide to forgive him because he did save me and if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be here today.

"Okay I believe you" I tell him and he lets out a breath of relief. Wow I didn't think he was this worked up about it. "And thank you for saving me"I smile at him and he smiles back.

"So Stella like a star right" he says and looks at me with a friendly grin in his face.

"Yeah" I say back to him.

"I should get going I just wanted to apologise to you about the other day and also about the other two idiots" he begins to walk away to the front door and me and Cohen follow him after.

"thank you for coming to apologise" I said to Ethan as he opened the door.

"No problem, see you star"he smiled and then shut the door.
