I stood tall and gazed up at the tall skyscraper that stood before me. I took a deep breath before heading inside.

As I took a glance around the first floor, I was not surprised to see lots of people looking very busy and rushing around. After all, Lockwood Industries is known to be one of the most successful ones in the world.

I noticed the reception desk to my right and made my way over there. The girl sitting at the desk was very pretty with dark red hair and hazel eyes.

"Hi, excuse me" I said making her look up at me. She gave me a small smile.

"I'm Riley, I have an interview with Mr. Lockwood at 10:30 and I was wondering if you could please show me the way?"

"Oh sure" she got up from her seat and I followed her towards the elevator.

"I'm Annabelle, by the way. Nice to meet you" she said offering me her hand and I shook it,"Nice to meet you too"

She pressed the number 30. There was a comfortable silence as we waited for the elevator to open at the right floor. So I tried to start a conversation.

"So, what is Mr. Lockwood like?" I asked her, curiously.

"Well, he kinda has like 2 personalities to him. Sometimes he's very rude, cold and mean. Other times, he's actually kinda nice. But he's never been rude to me, surprisingly. He once told me that I was one of his favorite employees"

"Wow, he must really like you then"

"I guess. He doesn't really like his past PA's. The girls that he has interviewed so far, he doesn't even like a single one of them"

"Really? Why?"

"Because every girl that has been there are in very revealing clothes. You're the first one I've seen so far that actually looks professional and beautiful" she smiled at me.

It felt good to hear something like that. Cause obviously I needed to make a first good impression.

"Well, thank you"

Soon, the elevator door opened and Annabelle walked me towards Mr. Lockwood's office. There were chairs lined up next to the door to his office and there were only a few girls ahead of me.

Annabelle, was right. The girls here are in very revealing clothes. I wonder why though.

"Okay, well here's his office. Let me know how it went okay?" Annabelle said. I nodded at her and she wished me good luck.

I like Annabelle. If I get this job I think we'll be very good friends.

I sat patiently waiting for the last girl before me finish with her interview. After she came out, she told me that he was ready to see me.

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

"Come in" I heard a deep, husky voice from the inside. I slowly opened the door, and walked towards his desk my head down.

"Name?" I heard that voice again. Somehow, it sounded kind of familiar.

"Riley. Riley Mathews" I looked up and saw the same hot guy I spilt coffee on earlier this morning. Finally, taking ha eyes of the papers in front of him, he gazes up towards. I gulped as I saw a slight smirk form on his face as I heard the voice again.

"Hello, Riley"
