"Take a seat, Riley"

The smirk still played on his face. I slowly walked towards the chair that stood in front of his large desk and sat on it. He moved some papers of his desk and leaned on it.

"So tell me Riley, what brings you here today?" He saids as his gorgeous smirk returned on his luscious lips.

Oh gosh...

"Um well, I've always had an interest in working in a business career when I was growing up. This is one of the most successful business in the world. So I decided to come here and give this a shot and see how it goes" I said, avoiding eye contact.

"Good answer" he said before removing his hands from his desk and leaned back in his chair. I handed him some sheets containing information about myself and I sat in silence as he read through it.

"Well Ms. Mathews, I'm actually quite impressed. So congratulations, you've got yourself a job" he smiled at me.

"Wait really?"

"Yeah" he said as he got up and marched his way over to where I was sitting.

"Okay, so when do I start?"

"Tomorrow, I want you here at 9:00am sharp and please do not be late" he responded as I got up.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Lockwood" I said shaking hands with him.

"You're very welcome, Riley"

Riley... I loved the way he saids my name...

Wait, did I just say that?

"Riley?" I heard Mr. Lockwood's voice again, pulling me out of my thoughts, "I'll see you tomorrow"

I gave him a gentle smile before walking out of the office. I got into the elevator and pressed the main floor button.

On my way out the sliding doors, I heard a familiar voice call out my name. I turned around to see Annabelle rushing towards me.

"Hey, how did the interview go?" She asked.

"It actually went quite well. He wasn't as bad as I thought he could be. He also gave me the job"

"Really! That's great, that means we can be co-workers" she smiled at me.

"Yeah, I start tomorrow at 9:00am. He doesn't want me to be late"

"Yeah, I would really suggest that you come on time because Mr. Lockwood hates tardiness"

"I can tell, by the way he told me"

She chuckled at me.

"Okay, so I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" She asks.

"Yeah, bye!"

She waved at me as I exited the building.

I opened the door to my shared apartment.

"Hey bestie, how did the interview go?"

Lucy said as she walked over to me and gave me a hug.

"It went well, although he kinda makes me nervous"

"And I'm guessing you got the job, right?" She asked smirking at me.

"Yeah, I did"

"You know what this means? He totally finds you hot!" She squealed.

I playfully rolled my eyes at her.

"Lucy, we discussed this. My physical appearance did not determine weather I got the job"

Although, Mr. CEO is very very hot himself. He's like a Greek god or something...

Suddenly I heard a gasp coming from Lucy.

Oh no, I said that out loud, didn't I?

"Hmm, so you find Mr. Billionaire hot, don't you?" She smirked at me.

"Okay, yeah I do. But that doesn't mean anything"

"Of course it does! I'm sensing someone mixing business with pleasure"

"No Lucy, I cannot date my boss. It's just...wrong"

"Who cares what other people think?"

"I do, Lucy"

"Oh come on, just give it a shot?"

"I can't"

She playfully poured at me as I rolled my eyes and walked past her into my room.

I need to relax as much as I can because tomorrow's gonna be a long day...
