"Riley?" I heard the door to my bedroom slowly open. I saw Lucy's head poke out and she gave me a pleasing look.

"I think you should go talk to him" she came and sat on my bed.

"Who?" I asked even though I know exactly who she was talking about.

"You know who I'm talking about. Go talk to Zach"

"I don't think that's a good idea" I said looking down.

"Why not?"

"He has a new girlfriend now"

"Okay, we're not 100% sure that's his girlfriend, I mean we've only heard about her for about a week. Just because they've been seen multiple times hanging around each other, doesn't mean they're dating"

"You don't think Zach can move that fast?"

"Maybe, I don't know. But you have to talk to him and hear his reasons"

"But he made them pretty clear when he broke up and me. He said he never loved me and he never will"

"Maybe there's a reason behind why he suddenly just broke up with you. Go find out"

"Thank you" I told the cash registerer as she handed me my coffee. I walked out of the coffee place and walked towards my car.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw a familiar couple, making out. I looked closely until I realized one of them was Zach.

Wow...I guess he can move on fast.

I decided to eavesdrop a little bit and hid behind a near wall.

"So how's it going on between you two?" The girl pulled away from their kiss.

"Well, she and haven't talked since our breakup. But I'm with you now so don't worry about her, okay?"

She nodded at him.

"Well I gotta go. I'll se you later okay?" Zach gave her a kiss before he got into his car and drove away.

I watched as the girl walked away.

I just stood there. Zach has a new girlfriend.

This is was something I always feared when we were dating. I always thought that he was eventually gonna realize that we don't match and that he'll find an even more beautiful girl to stay with.

And he did...

With tears threatening to spill out of my eyes, I turned around to walk back to my apartment but stopped dead in my tracks.

The person that stood in front of me, was the girl Zach was talking too.

His new girlfriend.

And she was standing giving me an evil smirk.
