《Cry For Me》Chapter 34
Colton's POV
"How was I supposed to know you were going to want to have sex?" I ask Camryn, using an arm to cover my face as I lay next to her.
"I don't know, I thought guys are supposed to always be prepared," she shrugs.
"Cam, I came over here to comfort you while you cried, the thought to bring a condom never crossed my mind!" I say frustratedly. I had no idea she was just going to surprise me like this. She was crying on the phone, I never expected the night to end like this.
I hear her laugh as she sits up on the bed and reaches for her bra. "What's so funny?" I ask her, sitting up too.
"Nothing, it's just.. you're mad because we can't have sex tonight, but technically it's your fault," she laughs again.
"Okay, first, I'm not mad, and second how is this my fault? When did it become a guys job to always carry protection? Shouldn't girls want to be protected too?" I ask defensively. Cam doesn't say anything, she just continues to laugh as she pulls her bra straps up her arms.
Her skin looks so smooth in the moonlight, so perfect. Okay maybe she's right, I am a little upset that we can't do it tonight, but I'm not angry. I'll wait as long as I have to for Camryn.
"Look, all I'm saying is, you just lost out on what would have been the best night of your life, all because you walk around unprepared," she says, hooking her bra and flipping her hair as she looks back at me.
"How do you know it would've been the best night of my life?" I question, raising my brow.
"Judging by your past taste in women, I think it's safe to say I would've been the best," she squints her eyes at me.
"You're absolutely right, so from now on I'll make sure to carry condoms in my sweat pockets at all times," I joke.
"Damn straight," she laughs. Sometimes I forget that it would be Cam's first time because of how confident she is. She's so sure of herself, I forget that I should make the night special for her.
"Maybe this is a good thing," I say as she cuddles next to me, covering herself with blankets.
"What is?" she asks.
"That we couldn't do it tonight." She raises her brow at me. "I mean, your first time should be better than this. It shouldn't be on a Tuesday night and it definitely shouldn't be with your mom sleeping two doors down," I say. "It should be special, it's a big deal, for the both of us."
"How is it a big deal for you? You've done this before," she says, looking up at me.
"Yea but never with you, never with someone I'm completely in love with. This is a big deal for me because I've never cared about the other girls. I care about you Cam, and that makes it a big deal," I explain.
Cam doesn't respond, she just leans up and kisses my cheek. She then rests her head in the crook of my neck and a few moments later, she's asleep.
***
I wake up to the annoying sound of Camryn's alarm. I try to detach my self from Cam's hold, but even when she's asleep, she's still pretty strong. After a small struggle, Cam sleepily lets go and turns away from me to face the wall. How does she sleep through her damn alarm?
I reach for Cam's phone on her nightstand and snooze the alarm. Before setting it back down, I notice her screensaver. It's me.
It's from when we were on her bed, just scrolling through our phones. It's a plain picture, I'm on her bed, leaning against the wall staring at my phone.
Even though I hate pictures, we should probably take one together so she can have a better screensaver.
"Cam," I whisper in her ear. She doesn't make a sound. "Cam."
"Hmm?" She groans angrily. She's definitely not a morning person. Or maybe it's because we didn't fall asleep until almost one.
"It's time to get up," I whisper as softly as I can manage. She just groans again. "Okay Camryn seriously get up," I say flatly.
"Leave me alone," she sighs, covering her face with her pillow.
"Fine," I say. I get up from the bed and head to her bathroom to wash up. I brush my teeth and wash my face before walking out and turning on her room light. "Cam, we're going to be late."
"I'm up," she sighs, sitting up in bed. She rubs the sleep from her eyes and tries to fix her messy hair. She looks so cute.
"You know, if you didn't have morning breath, I'd kiss you so hard right now," I smirk, leaning against her bathroom doorway.
"Ha-ha," she says sarcastically. She gets out of bed in only her bra and panties, still not fully dressed from our fail last night. I can't help but look at her perfect body. "Eyes up here buddy," she says, stepping past into the bathroom.
Once she rinses her mouth out from brushing her teeth, I spin her around to face me. I pick her up from her waist so she's sitting on the sink counter. She gives me a smile before pulling me to her, our lips crashing together.
She tastes like mint and heaven, a perfect mixture. She wraps her legs around my waist and pulls me closer as I take her face in both of my hands. This girl knows how to drive me insane.
"Don't get too excited Mr. Sommers, we'll be late," she breathes as I kiss her neck. I groan.
"You can't keep doing this to me Cam, you're driving a man crazy over here," I breathe into her neck.
"That's the plan," she whispers in my ear. God she's such a tease. She pushes me away and hops off the counter.
"Time to get ready for school," she smiles.
"You're crazy," I tell her.
"You love it," she smiles up at me.
She's right, I do.

What If? - Drarry
A Drarry fanfiction based upon a simple question - what if Draco had met Harry in a different way to how it happened in the books? I try to follow JK's basic storyline so it seems similar to the books and movies, but with some differences (obviously) to make the Drarry happen :D
