Azalea's POV:

"Here is your order. Enjoy !" The waiter said, placing the plate of breakfast in front of me.

"Thank you." I smiled at the waiter. He smiled and walked away.

"So, something happened. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner. I was so shook and I didn't have the time to call you and-" Kim rambled, cutting her piece of french toast.

Kim and I were in the cafe now, eating breakfast together.

I held her arm which made her stop worrying. "It's alright, Kim. Whatever it is; just let it out."

"Alhex aanidnnd I juhsst might have mahhyybe juhssst kissehed." She mumbled.

All I heard was 'Alex' and 'maybe' clearly.

"Heh ?"

"Alex and I kissed." She repeated.

"OH MY GOD !" I shouted loudly, making the people in the cafe look towards me. Oops, I forgot that we weren't the only ones here.

"Quiet down, woman." Kim whisper shouted at me.

"When ? How ?" I asked, my voice a little softer now.

"It happened yesterday when he was dropping me back home from work. Since it was quite late, he offered to drop me home because I had given my car for servicing." She explained.

I nodded, taking a bite of the scrambled eggs in my plate.

She proceeded to continue, "At the door of my house when I was saying bye to him, I don't know what happened. One moment I was a foot away from him and in the next, my arms were around his neck."

Kim looked so frustrated right now, I've never seen her like this.

"I don't know what to do. And before you ask me, yes, I like him." She stated. I smiled.

"You like him; he likes you. What's the problem ?" I asked, wondering why she was so infuriated.

"I just....I don't know." He sighed.

"Like someone wise once said, 'Life will go on, it won't stop because you are not ready.

If you don't move on in your life, you will not get a second chance.' Listen to your own advice." I said, holding her hands from across the table.

She nodded. "I will. I just needed the motivation. So, how's your life going on ?"

"Dante asked me to be his girlfriend and I said 'yes'. I'm officially in a relationship now !" I squealed.

"Oh my God ! You go, girl !" Kim encouraged. "I'm happy for you. You're living your life."

We continued speaking to each other for a while more. I told her all about Elijah and Zane. Speaking of that, today is the day that Dante and Elijah meet up.

We're planning to give an anonymous tip to the cops about a drug deal and then they'll find Dmitri there. Him being himself, he's definitely going to have a gun with him.

When the cops do check him, they'll wonder why a normal businessman has a gun with him.

Later on, after they go through his house or something; they will definitely find out who he really is.

"I have to go. My parents said that they would call." Kim said, stopping my train of thoughts in the process.

"Oh, alright." I said. Both of us placed money on the table and left together.

After we bid goodbye to each other, I went back home only to see Dante working in his office.

He looked at me curiously, like he was waiting for me to tell him something. Alex must've told him about what had happened.

"Soooo..." Dante dragged the word.

"Soooo..." I said, replicating the same tone.

"Kalex kissed !" Both of us said at the same exact time. Wow.

"Damn, that was faster than I expected !" Noah's voice was heard followed by Dom's voice "I know right !".

How do they manage to just show up from nowhere all the time ? Like, seriously, Dante and I are just randomly talking and they butt into the conversation like they have been here all this while. What are they, ninjas ?

"What are ya'll doing here ?" Dante questions.

"We're here to prepare for tonight. The trap we set up for Dmitri ?" Noah said, trying to jog Dante's memory.

"Ah, yeah." Dante said in realization.

"Let's go on with it." Dom said, walking out of the room.

"Where are you going ?" I inquired.

Turning around to face me, "The weapons room." Dom shrugged.

"There's a weapons room ?" I asked, pondering about why hadn't known before now.

"Of course there is." Dom said in a duh tone. "Come, I'll show you where."

All four of us went to the weapons room and got over our plan once again until it was time to leave in the evening.

Now, I was sitting at one of the tables in Bling's Restaurant; the same one that Violet was told to make a reservation in.

So far, we hadn't seen Dmitri but all of his men were in here.

How did we know ? Well, they're very bad at disguising themselves.

Just a while later, I saw Dmitri enter the restaurant casually, like he hadn't hired a spy within the Italian mafia.

We weren't dumb enough to actually bring Elijah with us because it would be very dangerous.

Yes, I know, he is the Don of the American mafia and he can take care of himself but I couldn't help but feel protective over him.

In the past few days, he and Zane have been speaking and acting like an actual family towards me.

Although he didn't agree with me at first, he did later on.

When we heard the sirens of the police cars, we quickly tried walking out but just as well did, they opened fire at us.

"Take cover !" Dom shouted, turning the table so we could crouch behind it.

From the corner of the table, I peeked out and saw Dmitri as well as Liam shooting at us.

"Here." Noah said giving me a gun. "You might need it."

I nodded and took it from him, turning the safety off of the gun. By the time the police came, they started firing too.

Dante wasn't shooting. He was doing the hand to hand combat part along with Dom.

The cops started shooting towards Dmitri's men. This went on for a while until one of them managed to shoot Dmitri, getting him right in the chest.

After this, few of his men went towards him, trying to fight but they got got hurt too. At this, the remaining of them became enraged; especially Liam.

Just as he was about to make the shot to kill one of the policemen, another shot was made first.

I watched in astonishment as the bullet pierce right through his skull, between his eyes.

He's dead. Gone. Both of them are.
