It had been 2 weeks since we were preparing for the exam and today was the exam.

I got discharged within few days. I had to go to my house. I requested Kate to stay with me at my house. I was very scared to stay alone. She brought her bag so she could stay for many days. Her parents allowed it. They knew what happened. Her mother loves me more than she does to Kate. Well, at least her mother and I show off in front of her.

She agreed to stay with me in my room. We were setting her clothes in my wardrobe when we heard the doorbell.

We got scared because I was not expecting anyone.

We get down and we heard some noises from the other side of the door.

"It's your mistake. They must be sleeping."

"Are you blind or just an idiot? Can"t you see the lights are on."

"Shut up and ring the bell again. And if they asked why are we here, you are going to take all the blame."

We both looked at each other and laughed at their irony.

I opened the door. "Will you both shut up? You will wake everyone up." I scolded them.

They quickly entered the house.

"What the hell are you guys doing here?" Kate asked with her arms folded, in a very intimidating way.

"We are here so you both don't get scared." David replied.

"Who's idea is this?" I asked. Already knowing the answer.

He didn't dare to meet my eyes.

And from that day they stayed at my house too but after the fourth day I kicked them out because they were disturbing our study. We had so much to do so Kate and I decided that they are the biggest nuisance in our study and kicked them out of my house.

Today was the exam. The boys came to pick us up from my house. We reached school together.

"I am so nervous. I feel like I know nothing." Kate was babbling about not getting good grades for her favorite college.

"Will you stop irritating us? You are overreacting." Xavier commented.

"You dog." Kate shouted back.

"Xavier, Kate behave." I told them.

"I never understand why they fight like dogs and cats." David added in between.

"David, don't be rude. Xavier, you can't say like that to her." I said.

"You never say anything to her. You always shut me up. This is not fair. I am your boyfriend." Xavier complained.

Kate: "And I am her best friend. So I come first."

Xavier: "Who said that?"

Kate: "I did"

"Shut up you both. You both are equally important to me. Now can we go inside?" I shouted again.

God! They will make me crazy one day.

I took kate's arm in my hand and started walking.

"See...see... She chooses me." Kate turned and teased Xavier.

We were sitting in a cafe. The exam is over. A big burden had taken off from us. We came here to celebrate.

"Now we can give our full attention towards our mission." Kate said excitedly.

"Kate, no." I tried to tell her not to bring that topic because I didn't want Xavier to feel left out or inferior.

"It's okay, Anna. I trust you. I know you must have a valid reason for not sharing it with me. Even though I am not in it with you but always remember I have got your back and I will never look away from you." He gave me a sincere smile which conveyed the genuineness of his words.

"I know." I smiled back. We spend quality time together as friends. We got very little time for that.

It's been 2 weeks since the exam was over. We are roaming everyday shop to shop for our research. It was almost midday when I decided to take a break.

"Kate, let's take a break. Half of the 'to-do' list is still left. We need the energy to finish today's task." I suggested.

"I agree. Let's go and drink something or I'll die here." I shook my head at her exaggerated answer.

We entered a cafè near us. The smell was delicious and because of that, my stomach started rumbling.

We took a window seat. The atmosphere was bright. I have half recharged already.

"Hello, beautiful ladies. I am Zack. I'll be serving you today. So what can I get for you two?" A waiter came to take our order.

I looked up to tell him but I went quiet. I looked at Kate and she had the same reaction.

Instantly an idea hit me and when I looked at Kate, I could tell she was thinking the same.

'Great minds think alike.' It's so true.

"Do you work part-time or full-time here?" Kate asked him.

"Part-time" He replied with a smile.

"Why do you work?" I asked, I know it was a stupid question but it's the answer was very important for us.

He looked at me strangely and then looked at Kate, she had the same curious expression as me.

"I...I want to earn my tuition fee for college?" He was not sure if it was okay to answer.

"Oh! Great. You are perfect for us." I said clapping my hands together.

"Yeah, you are made for us." T

Kate said after me. We both were giving him our best smiles.

"You both are crazy, do you guys know that. Now if you don't mind, will give your orders please." He asked strictly.

"I'll have Latté." I ordered.

"Me too." Kate said.

"Okay, I will be back with your order. Anything else?"

"Yes, please bring your best dessert, two plates, please." I added.

"Okay, noted. Anything else."

"Yes, you." Kate said. His face whitened. He hurriedly slinked away from our table.

"Kate, please don't scare him. If he refused to help us." I said.

"He is so cute. He won't be able to. I will surly convince him to let us use his body." Kate said in a sultry voice.

"You have such a dirty mind. Why you always forget that you have a boyfriend?" I asked.

"It's healthy flirting. It is allowed. And David is not like "Mr. Possessive" boyfriend." Kate teased me.

I just shook my head.

"So who will talk to Zack?" I asked.

"Obviously...me." She said and just then Zack came with our dessert.

"Your Latté will be ready in a minute." And then he left immediately.

"That guy is hell scared of us." Kate laughed.

"Who will not if two girls are literally asking to take him. At least our biggest issue is solved." I said.

"I have this feeling that we will rock in there." Kate said imagining that day.

"We have to. We have no other choice." I said imagining the same.
