《Come Back To Me, Kiwi.》Chapter 67 - Bachelorette Parties and Pretty
Advertisement
"Don't do anything crazy, understood?" Vivi said to me before leaving me at the mansion with the girls for the bachelorette party.
There I was an hour later, hanging onto the mansion as I walked along the tiny ledge yet again. This time, we had accidentally looked the door to Theo's room where all our things were, and we couldn't get into it because his door handle was broken. We also couldn't find a screwdriver anywhere, so I was climbing from Juliet and Remi's room, out the window, and into Theo's room so I could open the door. I could see this becoming a trend, but I didn't mind. The girls were below me again just in case I fell.
I finally reached Theo's window and sat on the ledge in front of it.
"Nana! I think it's locked!" I called out to Nana Lucie.
"Keep trying, it might just be hard to open." She called back to me.
I kept trying, but it wasn't working, then I noticed that I could see the lock through the window. I started trying to shift the window in a way that would shift the latch enough to unlock the window and slide it open. I was able to do it after about fifteen minutes of pushing and pulling on the window like a crazy person. Then, finally, I was in Theo's room. I unlocked the door and Ari cheered when she saw me.
"Why did we even put our stuff in Theo's room, again?" I asked.
"Because he's the only single guy and his room is constantly so clean and organized... and empty." Momma said.
"Aw... he's not single. Mabel is still his girl, even if they've been apart." Rosalie said.
"Ok... the only lonely guy... is that more accurate?" Momma asked.
"Aw, my poor baby." Fifi said.
"It's ok. She'll be here tomorrow." I said. "Oh my God! She'll be here tomorrow! I'm so excited!"
We all started squealing and jumping in excitement. Poor Theo was even more miserable this past week. It had quickly dawned on him that he was losing his birthday because we were having our wedding on it. He probably felt a little jealous of his twin too.
"Aw... Theo's been so sad though." I sighed.
"It's ok. He'll get over it." Ari said.
"Alright everyone! Get ready, we've got places to be!" Momma said.
"Alright, give me a minute, guys." I said, going to my room for a quick minute so I could check up on poor Theo.
"Hi, Kiara." He said, sounding miserable.
"How's the birthday boy doing?" I asked him.
"I'm alright, I guess." He said.
"Hey... don't be like that. Tomorrow is going to be so fun. I promise. I have an amazing gift for you." I said to him.
"Nah. Don't worry about it. Tomorrow isn't about me." He said.
"Of course it is." I said.
"It's about you and that idiot." He chuckled, but I heard the pain.
"Theo!" I scolded, pouting at him.
"It's ok, Kiara... life just has a way of not working out so well for me." He said.
"I know you're not happy that we're getting married tomorrow. But... you will get to spend the morning with Vidal.... I promise, ok? You guys will go out for breakfast and a small trip together, and then you'll come celebrate with us... not just the wedding, your birthday too." I said to him.
"I don't want to celebrate my birthday." He said.

"Theo... Can you please be happy for me. I'm telling you that tomorrow is going to be good. Please... When have I ever lied to you?" I asked him.
"Ok... I'll try. I love you, Baby Sister." He said to me.
"I love you more than you know, Theo. I promise your sister knows what she's doing alright. I know you're not happy about us getting married on your birthday, but you'll see that it was a good idea." I told him.
"Alright." He said, sighing.
"I love you.... you have a good day with the guys ok?" I said.
"Ok." He agreed.
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow." I said.
After that, I went back to his room to get ready for the bachelorette party on the yacht that Momma rented for us.
Momma had just finished my hair when Fifi hurried over and held her phone out for me. Mine was charging in my room.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"Theo." Fifi told me.
"What?" I said in confusion, taking the phone.
I wondered why he was calling me. I felt like maybe he was mad or something. But whatever it was, I would always talk to him. I was even contemplating cancelling this whole wedding on their birthday thing.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey, Kiara. Are you in a quiet spot? I really need to talk to you properly." He said.
"One second." I said, scurrying out of the room and going to Vivi and I's bedroom.
I plopped onto the bed and I got back to him.
"What's going on?" I asked him. "Theo... I already told you, but I'll just remind you one more time. I will move the wedding. You just say three words to me. It's too much. That's all you have to say and I'll cancel it all and move it."
"No. No. This is what you don't understand." He said.
"What?" I asked him.
"This isn't about my birthday and Vidal getting married, I couldn't care less about that, ok? I don't need the attention to be all on me and I don't need you think that you're rubbing your wedding in my face. It is the best honour in the universe to have you officially become my sister, on my birthday. That is the best gift I ever could've thought of... so don't think that I'm upset about that." He said.
"Aw... Theo... why're you so cute?" I asked.
"I swear, Kiara, I'm not upset about that." He repeated.
"Ok. I won't move the wedding. But tell me what's making you upset. I don't want to see you like this." I said to him.
"I shouldn't be upset... I know I shouldn't be. But even if you have the wedding in a few weeks, I'll still be upset. Because it could've been me and Mabel. Except I can't have her by my side right now." Theo said.
"So, no matter when the wedding happens, you'll still be upset?" I asked him.
"Exactly." He said. "Now don't worry about me and just have fun today, alright?"
"Theo." I said softly.
"Yeah?" He asked me.
"Do me a favour, ok?" I asked.
"Anything, Baby Sister." He told me.
"Smile for me just a little bit tomorrow. It's not about who you are or aren't around. It's about me becoming your sister for real." I told him.
"And I couldn't be more proud than to have you as my little sister. So I will smile for you. I promise." He said to me.

"Thanks, Theo, you're such a cutie." I smiled.
"Now go, have an amazing time on that yacht or whatever you crazy girls are doing and don't completely trash my room." He said.
"Well, I already broke into it, but we'll see what else we do with it." I laughed.
"Oh my God. I don't even wanna know. Go have fun." He laughed, and we said our goodbye and hung up.
After all of us were ready, we all made our way to the waterfront and got on the yacht Momma had rented. Off we were to sing, dance, throw each other off the yacht, dare each other to do things. It was just so fun.
"Oh my goodness, my baby is getting married!" Momma squealed.
"Nana! I wanna get married!" Eleanor cheered.
"Not yet sweetheart. When you're as big as Auntie Kiara, you can." She said.
Eleanor groaned, climbing into my lap.
"Cupcake, I wanna dance with you!" She cheered.
"Alright." I laughed, picking her up and spinning her around. "Let's dance!"
"Cupcake? When you marry Firefly, does that mean I won't get to see you?" She asked me.
"No. I'll see you all the time, Princess." I said to her.
"Pwetty!" I felt a tug on my skirt.
I smiled down and picked Mia up.
"Oh wow! My big girls are gonna break my back today." I laughed, putting them back on the ground.
"Cupcake?" I heard Eleanor asked me.
"Hi, baby. What's going on?" I asked her.
"Hugs." She said, extending her arms out.
I picked her up and placed her in my lap, then she hugged me.
"What's wrong, Cutie?" I asked her.
"I miss Daddy. How come he's not here?" She asked.
"Daddy is on the island, Cutie. We're going to see him soon though. This is just a day that we get to spend with only the girls." I told her.
"B-but I miss Daddy." She said.
"Let's video call him... how about that?" I asked her.
"Mhm." She nodded, resting against me. "Mommy! Come see Daddy with us!"
Juliet emerged from the water, since she had just been swimming and ran over with a big smile on her face.
"Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" I asked her with a laugh.
"Just enjoying the freedom with the girls... guys suck." She laughed.
"What?!" Remi's voice said, coming through the phone.
Juliet looked at my phone and saw Remi who was still drying himself off from the ocean water.
"You however, my love, do not suck. In fact, you are the most beautiful man this world has ever seen." She said, eying his chest which was on display on my phone screen.
"Oh my goodness, you two are going to kill me." I groaned.
"Why, thank you, Pretty Lady. How are you?" He asked her.
"I'm fantastic. How are you?" She asked him with a smile.
"You have no idea how happy I am to see you like this, Juliet. I love you, Sweetheart." He smiled.
"I love you, too, Crazy. Now... someone misses their Daddy." Juliet said, kissing her daughter's head.
"Oh, does my little munchkin miss me?" He asked, looking at Eleanor.
Juliet pulled her daughter into her lap and took my phone so that I could go if I wanted to.
"Daddy, when will I get to see you?" Eleanor asked Romeo.
"Daddy will come to you now, if you want. But why don't you enjoy some time with your nanas and aunties?" He asked her.
"Because I miss you, Daddy." She said.
"I miss you too, baby." He said. "You want me to come get you?"
"No. I just miss you." She said to him.
"Aw, Ellie." Juliet said, squeezing her daughter in a tight hug.
I left the little family to talk on my phone and I went to go see what Ari and Ava were up to.
"Rosie! Come join us!" I called.
She ran over and Juliet and Eleanor joined us eventually too.
After a while, the Yacht stopped somewhere near the shore and Momma pointed to some jet skis. We went jet skiing and then we stopped at a beach and we just played around.
We made a killer sand castle, played in the water, had the time of our lives. Then we got hungry. So we took the jet skis back to the yacht and we drove along the shore and found a spot to stop near the city.
We went out, bought some comfortable clothes, we bought a bunch of food and took it to this open field somewhere, we watched the sunset and got some stuff to eat.
We just laid around in the tall grass, it got dark pretty quickly and Eleanor was beside me.
"Hey, Cupcake. The stars are super pretty." She said softly.
"They are. Just like you." I smiled at her.
"You think I'm pretty?" She asked me.
"Of course, I do." I frowned.
"Some of the girls at school don't think so." She said.
I sat up.
"What?" I asked her.
"They said I act like a boy and that my eyes aren't nice and that I don't look pretty." She said to me.
I pulled my niece into my lap and waved Juliet over.
"You're one of the prettiest little girls I've ever seen in my life, Princess. And girls and boys don't have to act a certain way. You can act however you feel like acting as long as you don't do bad things. Those girls don't know what they're talking about." I said to her.
"What girls?" Juliet asked.
"They said she acted like a boy, and said something about her eyes. They told her she wasn't pretty." I said softly.
"Aw, my angel. Those girls are just jealous of my princess." Juliet said to her daughter.
"Why?" Eleanor asked.
"Because you're so smart, and so beautiful. But you have to remind them that they're beautiful too. Sometimes when someone doesn't believe they're pretty, they tell someone who they think is pretty that they aren't pretty, it makes them feel better about themselves." Juliet told her daughter.
"I miss Daddy." Eleanor said. "He says I'm his princess."
"You are a princess. The prettiest princess I've ever seen." I smiled, kissing her cheek. "Don't listen to those girls, they're being mean for no reason. They're just lying to you."
I called Romeo, knowing that this little girl needed her daddy right now.
Romeo picked up immediately and he smiled at me.
"Hey, Kiara. What's up?" He asked.
"We have a princess here who isn't sure she's pretty." I said.
"My little princess?!" He asked me.
"Yeah." I said.
"Let me talk to her." He said.
I nodded, giving Eleanor the phone. Then I called the twins over. They had cookies in their hands and they brought me and Eleanor some cookies too.
"Pwetty!" They giggled, throwing their arms around me.
"Hey, Cuties." I smiled.
Romeo and Juliet were assuring their daughter how pretty she was. We told all the little ones how pretty they were. They were so tiny, there was no need for insecurities at such a young age. I knew eventually they'd become women and they'd have their insecurities, but there was no need for any of that at the moment. They should be carefree little princesses.
"Oh my goodness, look!" I said, pointing to a bunch of fireflies that were flying around in the field.
"Wow!" Eleanor giggled, getting up and running towards them. Let's go!" I said, taking the twins with me. They tried catching fireflies for a while but eventually gave up and enjoyed the beauty of the creatures.
We danced around under the stars, me and my little princesses and I couldn't wait for the next day. The day I'd see my brother happy and get one step closer to marrying the love of my life.
