《What I Want ✔》Chapter 18

Aubrey
This time Anthony didn't leave. In fact he got me a gold dress that I had to admit was beautiful indeed.
"Put it on. I want to take you somewhere.I'll be waiting downstairs don't try anything foolish." He warned as he went downstairs.
I got dressed and left my hair down. I grabbed the heels in my hand and poked my head outside. The hallway was empty and I stealthily walked downstairs. I saw Anthony on his phone in a heated conversation. I took that as an opportunity to sneak through the kitchen and out the back the door. The cool evening air hit me as I walked outside. I threw my heels in the bushes and dashed towards the huge gate.
My victory was short lived as I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.
"Not so fast angel." Angelo chuckled and dragged me back inside.
A furious looking Anthony stood there.
"Tryna leave me baby?" He fumed and I squirmed.
A slap echoed through the room and my face stung from the impact.
"You belong to me." He yelled as he grabbed me by my hair.
"I don't wanna hurt you Aubrey but you keep testing me." He roared as he slapped me again.
"Angelo. Take her to the car. I'll be there shortly."
Angelo grabbed me and hauled me away. We sat in the car, him in silence, while I sobbed.
"All you have to do is obey him." He stated.
"Don't you get it? I just want to go home." I answered and he chuckled.
"Anthony has been after you for so long. You think he will let you go now?" He smirked.
"But I don't want him."
"It's an obsession really. You're all he thinks about and talks about. He sent Sam after you so many times. Even when you went to the zoo that time with the kids but it was difficult to snatch you then." He said and my blood crawled. How could he do such a thing?
"Sometimes... sometimes." He hesitated and I urged him to go on.
"Sometimes I hear him talking to himself. Talking to himself about you. He isn't well." Angelo admitted, a strange look crossing his face. Almost pity and fear. Fear of Anthony.
"Then why are you helping him?"
"I have no choice. He pays for my sister's tuition fees and my mom's medical bills, something I was unable to do." He sighed.
"You didn't have to take this path."

"There's nothing I can do. Now shut up and stay quiet!" He yelled.
"Where is he taking me?" I inquired only to be ignored. I could tell he already shared too much, more than he wanted to and he wasn't gonna answer anymore questions.
I sat still in the car, my head still aching from him grabbing my hair and slapping my face. A few seconds later, Anthony got in the car. He pulled me unto his lap and put his head in the crook of my neck.
"You always smell so good." He groaned.
"Where are we going?" I questioned.
"You'll see."
He was about to say something else when his phone rang.
"What?" He answered with an annoyed expression.
"You're not doing your job properly." He barked. From what I could hear, a female voice was on the line.
"Look you need to sort this out and fast. Convince him. You can do that. Can't you?"
"Just do as you have been told. I'll see you soon." He ended the call.
He held me in his arms and I wished it wasn't him. His touch was gross on my skin compared to Vincent. Vincent's touch was nice and warm. He was always gentle and caring. I was thinking about Vincent and that gave me hope.
"I see you love the way I touch you. The smile on your face tells me you are enjoying it." He smirked. I hadn't notice that his hand was under my dress.
"D-don't touch me." I stuttered.
"You're right. We will save it for later." He chuckled and squeezed my thigh.
About an hour later we came to a clearing. Anthony grabbed me out of the car and led me into the forest. My heart was starting to beat faster. I looked around for a place to run.
"Don't even think about it Aubrey. You don't want to get on my bad side." He spat coldly.
Running away was out of the option so I just followed him. I saw a blanket with some flowers and alot of food.
"Just like the dates we had in highschool." He smiled.
"This isn't highschool Anthony. We are adults and I'm married. I have a life. This needs to stop. You need to take me back and I won't report you. Please, I want to see my family again."
"You ungrateful bitch. After all I did for you, you wanna go back." He fumed as he strode up to me.

"I'm done being nice to you." He sneered as he grabbed me and ripped off my dress.
"Please stop. Please don't." I begged.
"I always wanted you Aubrey. Now I'm gonna make you mine."
He kissed my over and over again. His hands travelled all over my body, touching me in different places.
I cried out in pain as he entered me. Tears pooled in my eyes and my heart shattered.
"Ah, so you're still a virgin. Lucky me." He smirked.
A few seconds later he continued and I couldn't stop crying.
I was sure to never forget this day. This moment when Anthony took my innocence away from me. When Anthony defiled my body and hurt me more than I could imagine.
When I lost part of myself.
After practically watching Xavier drink. I drove us to the beach. It was already late and we were watching the waves crash against the shore.
"This is nice." He slurred.
"Yeah, except for the fact that you reek of alcohol." I laughed.
"Hey, it was your ....idea... genious." He spoke slowly.
"Are you feeling better?"
"Yeah, this helped alot actually."
"Good. I just want you to sober up a little before I take you home." I admitted and he nodded.
We sat there in silence for quite a while.
"I'm gonna take a leak." He said as he got up. He had been gone for a couple minutes.
I'm sure he collapsed or passed out. I better go find him.
Strolling up to him I saw him bent over and stiff as a pin. I rolled my eyes, only Xavier handles alcohol so strangely.
"Hey are you feeling a bit more sober?" I questioned as I approached him. He hesitated for a second not looking at me.
"Oh , I think I am sober now." He muttered.
I walked over and looked at what he was watching. I instantly felt sick to my stomach. The body of a man was lying there. His face was swollen and disfigured so I couldn't really make out his features. His mop of blonde hair was tainted with blood and his eyes were practically bulging out of his head. His clothes and body were battered and it seemed like he died weeks ago but the water his body was floating in, slowed the decomposition.
"Call the cops." Xavier said as he looked at me.
~
The cops arrived on the scene and asked us a couple questions. If we heard anything or if we saw anyone then left with the body.
"This is all crazy man. I can't believe I found a dead body." Xavier shivered as we got into the car.
"Tell me about it. That guy was brutally murdered."
"I think I need another drink."
"No young man. No more drinks for you. We are going straight to bed and hopefully a long shower can wash that image out of my head."
"I agree with you. I'll have nightmares tonight."
I dropped him off at our parents' house and he told me he'd be over first thing in the morning.
Arriving home, I found Ivory waiting on the doorstep.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Haden, the baby kicked. He's kicking right now." She smiled.
"What really?" I rubbed her tummy and sure enough I felt a few kicks.
"That's cool."
"It is. I just wanted to show you. I wanted you to experience this even though you are mad at me and kicked me out." She frowned.
"Hey baby, I'm not mad at you. I was just upset about the entire thing with Aubrey. I still love you babe and I do want to be with you."
After I showered I was lying down with Ivory in bed. My arms were wrapped around her and she was resting her head on my chest.
"Haden, I was thinking. Maybe we should get married. Aubrey is not coming back it's already been a month." Ivory whispered.
"What? We're still looking for her."
"Yes and I hope we find her but I want my son to be born in a family."
"I don't know. We should wait until Aubrey comes back."
Tears flowed out of Ivory's eyes and my heart broke. She was sobbing as she slid on the floor.
"Baby don't cry." I cooed.
"You don't love me." She sobbed.
"I do love you."
"Then why don't you want to be with me." She questioned, a broken look on her face.
" Its not that Ivory-
"Then what is it Haden? I feel like I have to fight to be in your life which shouldn't be. Maybe I should leave. I don't think I'm wanted here." She slowly got off the floor but I grabbed her hand.
"No, stay please. I love you and I will marry you. I guess the marriage with Aubrey is null and void since she is missing."
"You really want to marry me?" She smiled.
"Yes. Yes I do."
