"Congratulations guys!!!" Everyone cheered for us.

My eyes were moist. I got super emotional. I was going to be a dad to a princess. How much more lucky should I get?

When I looked at Scarlet, she was in tears too. I came towards her and kissed her.

"We are gonna have a girl Xavier." She said through her hiccups.

"I know, there is gonna be a beautiful princess in our house. Thank you so much sweetheart!" I rubbed her belly.

"Xavier thank you for being there for us every moment. I'm so grateful for you in my life you don't even know."

"Scarlet I will again say this, it is the other way around. I love you!"

"I love you too."

Scarlet now heavily pregnant due any day was the hitler of our house. Her mood swings were so many and so weird but I was happy to fulfill any of her wish because in normal situation she won't demand a thing for me.

Another milestone in these months is that Maiya got married to Gabriel. It was a beautiful winter wedding.

Also Aerial, Alexander's wife is also pregnant. She is due one month after Scarlet. Our children would be of same age and hopefully be the best friends.

Currently Xavier and I were sitting in our garden. During pregnancy, garden was one of the place where I spent most of my time. I was not at all trees and flowers person, but now I have become one.

Xavier was reading me a book. Since the time we knew its a girl, he went like crazy.

He was so protective about our baby now also, I wonder what will happen when our baby girl really grows up!

I caressed my big baby bump. Nothing is more real and humble than experiencing creation of life in you.

"Jake asked Amy that........." Xavier was telling me a story, but I stopped him because I felt a massive contraction in my abdomen.

"Xav!!!!" I literally screamed in pain.

"Scarlet? What is happening? Tell me?"

"I think its t-time." I screamed again.

"Oh my god! Okay, okay. Come on get up. We are going to the hospital." He held out his hand.

We were now driving to the hospital. Xavier already told the doctors to set the room ready.

"Aahhhh. Ouch! Jesus!" I was in so much pain.

"Xavier Romano drive fast or I will kick your ass!!!!"

"Yes baby, yes. Come on! We are almost there."

After what felt like an eternity, we reached the hospital. I was admitted to a room. Soon my gynaecologist came.

"Hi Scarlet. How are you feeling?"

"Doctor it's hurting too much. The contractions are literally killing me. Please do something."

"Don't worry dear. I have checked. You're not dilated enough to push the baby. I will come after sometime. Till then have some ice and deep breathing, remember."

"Alright."

"Scarlet?" I said softly.

"Hmm?"

"I'm so sorry sweetheart." I cupped her cheek.

"What are you sorry for?"

"I didn't know that you will have to go through so much pain. I didn't realise how much pain you will infer in labour. And on the top of that, I can't do anything to help you."

She smiled at me, "You saying such sweet words to me is helping me more than you can ever imagine. Don't worry, your girlfriend is not so weak."

"I love you Scarlet. Forever grateful for you."

"Love you too."

"Xavier!!!!!!" She screamed to top of her lungs.

"Yes baby. Doctors coming." I tried to calm her down but contractions were so close.

"Doctor." As Dr. Kim came.

Doctor examined Scarlet and said,

"Scarlet it's time. Come on, push!!!!"
