Blaze's POV -

"Awe they are so cute"

"Hey! How comes he gets to cuddle her"

"This is the most peaceful I've ever seen them both"

I hear whispering come from all around me and the sound of a camera but it's wayyyy to early so I snuggle back into Flame who slept with me last night. I unconsciously smile thinking about how she forgave me and she doesn't hate me, however that smile was wiped of my face when I heard someone say "awe look he's smiling in his sleep".

I Chuck a pillow in the same direction as the voice hearing a smack as it hits my brother in the face at the same time Sapphire grumbles "can y'all shut the fuck up, I'm trying to sleep goddamn it!" Her eyes still closed and head in my chest as my arm is snaked round her, hugging her. I open my eyes and lift my head to see all my brothers and father standing in the room looking at us.

"Get up its time for breakfast" dad says before exiting the room. I groan but still get up lifting Sapphire with me as she whines.

"Come on baby. Get dress and we'll go to breakfast, Yeah?" I say as I walk into my bathroom to shower.

I walk out my room at the same Flame does and I check her outfit.

This is my fit.

"Before you complain. I don't care if it's too short, I'm dressing for me, not some horny boy" I just nod and smile before we walk downstairs to breakfast side by side. As we get to the dining room/kitchen, all casual chatter going on ceases and they stare at us. We ignore them and walk to our seats.

Someone clears their throat, making us all look up to them. "Sapphire, if it is alright with you, we would like to know what happened to your baby, if not we will wait until your ready." Zai says looking at my sister with a soft sad smile on his face, which is new as he almost always wears his blank face. Flame's face shows despair after he says this but still proceeds to tell us about the mugging and how oceana died.

By the end, although I may act mean and tough, I had tears in my eyes, not only from the fact my niece died in such a way but also from the look on my baby sisters face. I see the self-hatred and guilt in her eyes, she feels it's her fault that she couldn't protect her own daughter. I know the feeling after finding out my sister was abused and raped because of our families stupid actions. I grab her hand under the table in silent support which makes her look at me with tears in her eyes, my heart ache for her so I hug her, whispering it's not her fault in her ears. She nods but I know she doesn't believe me.

After finishing breakfast, I grab flame and Elias' hands and drag them to my room, before making ourselves comfy.

"your birthday is next week twins. What do you want to do" I ask excitedly. It feels weird showing all these emotions but I guess sapphire really has changed me. Their birthday is on the weekend so us three plan to throw a 2 day celebration as it's the first year saph is back.

On their birthday we are having a family day, all of us including dad, Zai and Matt are gonna have fun celebration in the morning with games and all that shit, a lunch time barbecue and then spend the night having a movie marathon with loads of snacks and blankets. The second day is gonna just be us three and I plan to take them to the new amusement park that opened up a couple weeks ago and then watch the sunset on the beach, which is a surprise for them. I'm nervous but can't wait.

Third person POV -

Today is the day after the youngest twins birthday, yesterday was a great day, spending it with the whole family, but they couldn't help the excitement waiting to find out where Blaze was taking them. "Guys were leaving!" Blaze calls the rest of the family before walking out the door to the twins who are already in the car, bouncing in their seats. "You two ready" he asked smiling amused to which he got 2 enthusiastic nods. Chucking he turns around his seat towards the park.

The rest of the day was spend laughing and running around playing stall games, screaming on the big rides. Many pictures were taken and teddies were won. As the day came to an end the 3 youngest siblings of the Romano family were walking down the beach, soft smiles on each of their faces as they recall memories, eating donuts and ice cream. "Wow" the other 2 hear Saph mutter under her breathe as she stares mesmerised at the view of the sunset. The ombré of reds and oranges and purples.

"I wish I had my whole life with you" Saph says dreamily, leaning her head tiredly on Blazes shoulder as she holds Elias' hand beside her.

"We do too baby. We do too. And were so sorry we weren't" Elias says as the fall into silence.

"Thank you for today brothers, it was amazing. Probably the best I've ever had" sapphire trails off as she fall asleep on the car journey back home.

"We really did miss you flame" Blaze says looking in the mirror at her sleeping figure before glancing at his younger brother and back at the road, "I love you both, so much, even if is don't show it some times"

"We love you too. You may not have shown it before but I know that we were all hurt by her not being here. Her coming back changed you for the better, hell, all of us. It doesn't matter you didn't show it before, we all knew regardless, but what matters is your making up for it now." Elias answers for him and his sleeping twin, smiling widely at his older brother.

As they arrive at home, Blaze picks his little sister up bridle style carrying her to her room where Elias drapes a fluffy blanket over her sleeping frame, kissing her head and leaving to his own room.

"We'll never leave you again baby. We'll protect you always" Blaze whisper kissing her forehead and leaving.

If only he knew what was coming in the future.
