Since my outburst from yesterday, I haven't got out of my room. I didn't even eat and I just laid in bed staring at the ceiling thinking about how my life would have continued if I never met these guys.
My thinking was cut short when a knock was heard on my door, I closed my eyes for a second trying to calm down and not leash my anger on someone. I opened my eyes and lazily got out of bed and opened my door. I was met with Leo's bright blue eyes. He smiled sheepishly at me and awkwardly rubbed his neck.
I raised an eyebrow signaling for him to start talking, " I-um" he cleared his throat while staring at the ground. "Look, I just wanted to say that you should maybe eat with us, it's already 7 pm and you haven't eaten anything."
He sighed and looked up at me hopefully.
I considered eating but before I decided, I asked "Depends, will Melissa be there?" I rubbed my forehead waiting for him to answer.
His blue orbs stared at me excitedly and his hair was messy and strands laid on his forehead. "No, at least I don't think so, when you left yesterday she disappeared and we haven't seen her since then" He smiled brightly at me waiting for me to agree.
I sighed already regretting this. "Yeah, sure I'll be there just let me at least look decent." I smiled embarrassedly as my hair probably looked like a bird's nest and my makeup was smeared. Leo shook his head lazily while smiling "I think you look great." I smiled and said thanks and he proceeded to leave me alone to get ready.
I quickly ran towards my bathroom and washed my face and my teeth. I left my face alone and didn't put make-up, I walked toward my closet and took out new undergarments and I quickly removed the ones I had on and put the ones I grabbed. I started shuffling through every cabinet trying to find a casual outfit, I came across a black hoodie and some white shorts.

I put on everything and disposed of the dirty clothes in the bin. I checked myself in the mirror and tamed my hair by brushing it. I checked myself in the mirror one last time and smiled when I saw that I looked decent, my wavy brown hair fell onto me and cascaded down onto my back.
I walked out and started walking down the stairs until I got to the dining table. Everyone was already seated but a seat remained empty. I looked around trying to find Melissa but she was nowhere to be seen. Weird.
I sat beside Leo while Kai and Valentino sat beside each other. The food was already served on the table. Who made this food? As if Kai could read my thoughts he answered, "Valentino made it."
A man who can cook. Sheesh.
I raised my eyebrows and nodded gradually. Nobody moved a muscle to eat and it started to get very awkward, I started to squirm in my seat and my stomach started to stir by the silence.
The silence was suddenly removed when a high-pitched voice entered and room and all eyes darted to her except mine which turned to look at Leo accusingly as he told me she wouldn't be here. He looked at me and shrugged, I turned my head to look at her.
"Why did you come so late-" I paused checking the watch on my wrist. "It's 8 pm." I trailed off waiting for her to answer me. Her eyes widened while mine narrowed.
She started laughing nervously. "I was just in the woods. Doing stuff."
"You're lying." Leo said tilting his head and analyzing her body movements.
"What stuff were you doing?" I pressed the subject more and I could tell Melissa was not comfortable as she started to squirm by my stare. Good. Ever since she arrived everything has been going downhill. She just showed up and Lincoln didn't even tell us about her. I'll ask him about that later.

Just as she was about to reply, Valentino cut her off and told me to drop the subject. Even though I didn't want to drop the subject, I did it for the sake of everyone. I dropped it even though my gut told me not to. I sighed and leaned onto my seat and I felt Leo grab my hand. I looked towards him and he smiled at me in pity.
I smiled but it probably looked in a grimace. Leo stared at me and raised an eyebrow looking at my grimace. "Chill out, we trust her. We have known her for a very long time." He whispered leaning on me. I nodded convincing him.
"Uhhh where will I sit?" Melissa asked looking around the table to state her point.
I persued my lips to not let a snappy comment out of my mouth but it went out anyway. "On the floor." My voice came out blank and serious and my face was the same.
Leo burst out laughing and smiling but Kai and Valentino were not having it. My lips turned upward by Leo's laugh but I quickly composed myself.
Melissa stared at me with annoyance. "Guys don't worry she was joking." Leo said continuing to chuckle when he saw that nobody was laughing along with him and that I was glaring at him. He turned to me with a nervous chuckle.
"You were joking right?" He was trying to make it sound like a statement but out sounded more like a question to himself.
Kai sighed getting tired of our chatter and he walked away out of sight but he quickly came back with an extra chair. Fucking great.
Few minutes have passed and we still haven't eaten because Melissa wanted to be beside Valentino instead of Kai. Kai got up being the mature one, grabbed his chair and walked towards my side of the table, and told me to scoot over. I was trapped between Kai and Leo.
